Chapter Fifty-Five: Returning to Reality

When Qing Tian opened her eyes, she was surrounded by a familiar environment; it was her room, her bed.

At this moment, she had already returned to her own room. She stared at the chandelier on the ceiling, the sunshine warmly reflecting on her face through the curtains. She reached out to block the sunlight, looking at the shimmering rays through her fingers.

She smiled at the sunlight and said, “Good morning, Qing Tian!”

As soon as she finished speaking, Song Shishi ran into her room, her smile lingering as she said, “Sister Qing, did you go silly after being taken in by Wu Feng for a night?”

Qing Tian was startled by Song Shishi’s sudden visit and immediately jumped out of bed, scratching her head and saying helplessly, “Hey, Song Shishi, don’t you even knock before coming in?”

Song Shishi crossed her arms, looking at Qing Tian with a smile and saying, “Tsk, tsk, tsk… you’ve really changed. After interacting with Wu Feng, your voice has gotten so much louder!”

Qing Tian was speechless. She picked up a pillow and threw it directly at Song Shishi. Song Shishi agilely caught the pillow, still fanning the flames as she said, “Oh… your reflexes have gotten good too. As expected of someone who spent a night with Wu Feng.”

Qing Tian put her hands on her hips and warned Song Shishi, “Shishi, that’s enough!”

Song Shishi finally burst into loud laughter, clutching her stomach as she sat on the edge of the bed, saying between laughs, “Sister Qing, you’re so cute when you’re angry!”

Qing Tian ignored Song Shishi and got out of bed, heading straight for the bathroom.

On the way to school, Qing Tian asked, “How is Xia Yang?”

Song Shishi smiled and said, “He’s fine, not going to die. He just has some superficial injuries, but his brothers sustained quite serious injuries.”

Qing Tian’s eyes darkened. She gazed at the crowds passing by outside the car window, then remembered the noodle shop Xia Yang had taken her to for the first time. She pulled Song Shishi and said, “Let’s go to the Civic Center after school!”

Song Shishi asked in confusion, “Sister Qing, lunch break is only two hours. Are you sure you want to go there? It’s very far from school!”

Qing Tian nodded with certainty and said, “I’m very sure!”

Song Shishi pouted, nodded, then took out a ridiculously large headset and put it on, chewing gum and humming a song.

Her exaggerated behavior drew annoyed glances from nearby classmates, who whispered amongst themselves.

“See, I thought Qing Tian and Song Shishi were different, but both sisters are the same kind of trash!”

Another person chimed in, “They really are equally cheap!”

Qing Tian leaned her head against the car window, feeling uneasy. She thought she could ignore others’ opinions, but hearing it directly made her feel truly uncomfortable.

Unexpectedly, Song Shishi took off her headset, suddenly stood up, walked over to the two gossiping girls, and without a word, slapped each of them twice.

The two girls, slapped unexpectedly, were indignant. One short-haired woman excitedly stood up and pointed at Song Shishi, saying, “You bitch, don’t think we don’t know about your dirty little secrets! Everyone knows!”

Song Shishi’s expression turned cold, her eyes sharp as she looked at the woman and asked, “Oh? My dirty secrets? I, myself, don’t know about them, yet you, a stranger, seem to know them all too well!”

Another woman pulled the short-haired one, but the short-haired woman was not to be outdone, saying, “If you did it, you should dare to admit it!”

Song Shishi calmly picked up the school ID card of the woman in front of her and slowly read, “Second year, class five, Chen Yuanyuan.”

After speaking, she dropped her school ID card, gave a middle finger, and said, “Well then, classmate Chen Yuanyuan, I look forward to your guidance in the future!”

Song Shishi was known for always getting revenge, and Chen Yuanyuan now felt like her doomsday had arrived.

Her legs went weak, and she slumped back into her seat, her mind a blank.

After witnessing all of this, Qing Tian finally returned to a state of calm. There were some things she truly didn’t want to deal with anymore.

Whether this Chen Yuanyuan lived or died was of no concern to her!

Song Shishi returned to her seat, sighed, and said helplessly, “Sister Qing, are you really going to explain nothing?”

Qing Tian let out a cold, helpless laugh. “If I explain, will they believe me? Why bother, making it seem like I’m trying too hard and feel guilty?”

Song Shishi frowned, gritting her teeth as she said, “Sooner or later, they’ll stand before you and apologize!”

Qing Tian picked up her schoolbag and said indifferently, “Let’s go, we’ll be late!”

As the two got off the car, they ran into the same two girls again. Song Shishi raised her fist to scare them, and they immediately moved out of the way.

After getting off the car, Song Shishi made a gun gesture behind them. The two girls were so scared they huddled together.

Song Shishi, in a great mood, followed behind Qing Tian.

As they reached the school gate, they happened to see the black Lamborghini sent by the Ji Family.

Qing Tian stopped. Song Shishi accidentally bumped into her, clutching her forehead and asking unhappily, “Why did Sister Qing stop?”

As soon as she finished asking, she saw Ji Weiwei get out of the car with an arrogant air, pretending to be demure as she linked arms with Ji Xiangyu, chatting and laughing as they walked.

Ji Weiwei had already seen Qing Tian. She gave her a provocative glance, then pretended not to see her and continued forward.

Song Shishi said indignantly, “Look at her arrogant attitude, she really doesn’t seem like a lady from a prominent family!”

Qing Tian reached out to stop her, saying, “Other people’s business has nothing to do with me!”

However, Song Shishi asked curiously, “Why does Ji Xiangyu get injured so often?”

Only then did Qing Tian notice that Ji Xiangyu’s left hand was wrapped in gauze. Was he injured? How did he get hurt?
