Chapter Eighty-Five: Rescuing Qin Hailan
By the time Xia Yang brought Qing Tian home, the Song family had already gone to sleep. Song Shishi was waiting downstairs and, upon seeing them return, immediately rushed over to look at Qing Tian with surprise!
Xia Yang helped Qing Tian out of the car. Song Shishi immediately scanned Qing Tian from head to toe, anxiously asking, “Sister Qing, are you alright!?”

The men with the older man saw him being bullied, and by a mere youngster at that. They all angrily surrounded Xia Yang.
Xia Yang habitually touched his nose, a smile rising to his lips. “I don’t care whose old man you are. She’s from our school. If you want to touch her, you have to ask if I agree first!”
The older man sneered, “Oh ho, you little punk have quite the big mouth. I need your permission to touch someone? If this got out, how would I still be able to hang around? What a joke!”
Xia Yang ignored the uncle and directly went to pull Qin Hailan away. The older man reached out to stop him, “Hey, you punk, are you deaf? Didn’t you hear what I just said!”
Xia Yang looked coldly at the older man, his tone chilling. “Uncle, go home and take care of your wife. Don’t go around flirting. When you go out, you should look at what kind of person you are! There’s a mirror in the restroom over there; I won’t accompany you! You old man, take care!”
After speaking, Xia Yang forcefully pulled Qin Hailan, slung her over his shoulder, and left!

The older man delivered a flying kick directly to Xia Yang’s back. Xia Yang didn’t expect it and stumbled back a few steps.

Xia Yang, carrying the drunken Qin Hailan, arrived at the central park. Qin Hailan was completely passed out and lay directly on the grass, mumbling, “Forgive me, Xia Yang, I didn’t mean not to tell you, forgive me…”
Xia Yang took a cigarette out of his pocket and smoked it helplessly. He wasn’t unaware of Qin Hailan’s deep affection for him, but he didn’t want to be too clear-headed. Just like Qing Tian only had eyes for Ji Xiangyu, if he were clear-headed, he wouldn’t be able to persevere!

He looked wistfully at the still bright night sky, having not slept all night!
