Chapter 12: Captain Antelope Finally Dead
Yuka Uzumaki looked at the fox in utmost terror.
Isn’t the fox a spy from the Senju Clan in the Anbu?
Wait!
Yuka Uzumaki immediately remembered that when the exploding tag just exploded, the fox applied hemostatic agent to the kunai.
The kunai didn’t pierce very deep, and with the hemostatic agent, there wasn’t much bleeding.
Yuka Uzumaki persisted in activating the Adamantine Sealing Chains.
Yoru, on the other hand, showed a powerless, shocked, and unable to stop appearance.
Over a dozen Adamantine Sealing Chains flew out, piercing everyone except Yoru.
Whether Cloud Ninja or Antelope Captain, all were struck by this powerful sealed scroll.
Under the sealing jutsu, everyone was unable to move.
Yoru felt secretly pleased in his heart. He deliberately applied hemostatic agent to the kunai to make Yuka Uzumaki think he was one of her own and not attack him.
The deception succeeded; only he wasn’t hit by the Adamantine Sealing Chains.
Yoru stood up, swung the kunai, and killed all the Cloud Ninja one by one.
Antelope Captain saw Yoru’s fluid movements and gained a new respect for him.
The weakest ninja in the squad, the cannon fodder just filling numbers, had astonishing growth speed. His timing in striking was becoming more seasoned, with a bit of an Anbu Ninja flavor.
Antelope Captain lowered his head and saw the chain piercing his abdomen, feeling intense pain.
The Adamantine Sealing Chains came with chain darts, and that chain dart had pierced his chest.
The Uzumaki Clan’s Adamantine Sealing Chains, able to materialize chakra—it was truly a terrifying secret jutsu.
Chakra materialization was said to involve the realm of Yin-Yang Release, not something ordinary ninja could master.
Yoru saw Antelope Captain’s miserable state but didn’t rashly treat the wound. Instead, he first snatched the sealed scroll from Yuka Uzumaki’s hand.
He handed the scroll to the captain: “Mission accomplished, we got it!”
Antelope Captain cursed inwardly, telling you to grab the intact scroll, not a used one.
No time to blame the fox, Antelope Captain said: “Go! Leave here!”
Yoru supported Antelope Captain and jumped into the woods by the lakeside.
“Captain! I’ll give you the hemostatic agent!”
The hemostatic agent was smoothly injected into the captain’s side rib, and the blood stopped gushing.
In the darkness, Yoru’s eyes under the mask were unusually bright.
He supported Antelope Captain, carefully sensing the captain’s body condition, not missing the tremor of every muscle.
In the hemostatic agent, a small half was the agent, and a large half was poison.
Yuka Uzumaki was a Chunin; poison for Chunin wouldn’t be ineffective.
This time, Yoru wouldn’t act rashly like last time.
Antelope Captain was hiding a Fire Release trump card, and Yoru didn’t want to be burned to death again.
The same trick couldn’t be used on him twice.
After moving away from the battlefield, Antelope Captain panted heavily and said:
“Fox, your strength is low, but your luck is good. You always survive to the end. Keep persisting, and maybe you can grow in the future.”
“Thank you for the praise, Captain.”
Antelope Captain’s breathing grew more difficult: “This time, cough cough, the mission failed, but we can pick the next one, cough cough, the next Uzumaki squad, and continue to scheme for the sealed scroll.”
Antelope Captain’s vision blackened in waves; he felt it was due to excessive blood loss.
He thought to himself, worthy of the Uzumaki Clan; the final counterattack was so terrifying.
Yoru saw Antelope Captain’s condition was off and quickly asked:
“Captain! If you pass out, how should I contact the superior squad? I’m afraid I can’t treat your severe injury. Does the squad have a medical ninja?”
Antelope Captain’s consciousness began to blur; he felt the fox was right.
The abdominal piercing wound might have ruptured the spleen; it was best to find the squad’s medical ninja for treatment. The hemostatic agent was far from enough.
Antelope Captain reached for his ninja tool bag but found double vision; the ninja tool bag became three, spinning nonstop.
Yoru quickly helped, taking a scroll from the ninja tool bag and handing it to Antelope Captain.
Antelope Captain shook his head, dizzy and disoriented, but persisted in using some technique to unseal the scroll:
“Every mission… the code team will formulate… a set… of new codes…”
Before he finished speaking, Antelope Captain had already passed out.
Yoru waited a few seconds, saw Antelope Captain completely unconscious, then formed hand seals with both hands, using the Karma Seal of Retribution.
The sealing curse mark crawled over Antelope Captain’s entire body.
Confirming Antelope Captain had no resistance left, Yoru raised the kunai and viciously stabbed into the captain’s throat.
Blood gushed out; Antelope Captain woke from the coma in pain, saw the kunai before his eyes, and also saw what the fox was doing.
“You…”
The captain could say no more and died completely.
Yoru couldn’t stop; he knew ninja could read information from corpses.
The kunai stabbed rapidly, prying open Antelope Captain’s skull and stirring his brain matter into mush.
Truly disgusting.
But also truly reassuring.
Antelope Captain was finally dead.
Wonder if the squad leader could let him be a squad leader; the squad only had him left.
After doing all this, Yoru slowly stood up, slightly turned to look at his surroundings, confirmed no one was around, and left.
He carefully studied the Anbu communication scroll.
Every time Anbu executed a large joint mission, they would compile a set of communication codes to guide dispersed Anbu squads.
Each squad could judge where the superior captain was and which direction to find the main force based on hidden marks.
With this scroll, Yoru could directly find the squad leader.
Once he became squad leader, he could directly accept missions, know more information, and no longer be a tool.
Yoru came to the previous battle site and found Yuka Uzumaki lying on the ground.
Yuka Uzumaki didn’t dare move; a kunai was still stuck in her abdomen.
There wasn’t much bleeding, but she feared moving, especially big bleeding after pulling out the kunai.
Seeing a shadow appear overhead, Yuka Uzumaki breathed a sigh of relief: “Fox, you came!”
Yoru crouched down and said: “I’m here, sorry, I had to follow the captain’s orders just now. Now I’ll help you treat the wound.”
Yuka Uzumaki felt both puzzled and resentful in her heart; Konoha Anbu actually wanted to rob the sealed scroll newly developed by the clan.
Fortunately, the fox was from the Senju Clan, prepared in advance by applying hemostatic agent to the kunai, letting her survive.
Pfft!
Yuka Uzumaki’s chin trembled nonstop.
A kunai was stabbed into her throat, blood gushing and splashing into her mouth.
Yoru felt a slight bit of guilt in his heart, which quickly dissipated.
Applying hemostatic agent to the kunai was to gain Yuka Uzumaki’s trust, making it easier to complete Antelope Captain’s orders.
He was an Anbu Ninja, not some Senju Clan spy.
Whoever wanted to be a Senju Clan spy, that was a clan doomed for clan annihilation.
Yoru transmigrated into the ninja world not to uphold justice; he wanted to survive.
Yuka Uzumaki’s eyes were full of confusion and bewilderment, not knowing why the fox did this.
Yoru didn’t explain.
Blame yourself for knowing too much; you must die here. The secret of the Karma Seal of Retribution, the secret of secretly opposing Antelope Captain—which one leaked would mean Yoru’s death.
The great scientist Newton said, better a friend dies than oneself.
Yoru searched Yuka Uzumaki’s body but found no other Adamantine Sealing Chains sealed scrolls.
No more then, after replenishing some kunai, Yoru disappeared.
