Chapter 112:
–
It really was as Mia predicted, entangled unrestrainedly until the world spun.
After washing up, Pei Yuzhou changed the bed sheet and carried Meng Shuyou to bed to sleep.
She burrowed into the quilt and was so sleepy she could barely keep her eyes open. Drowsiness came over her, and she vaguely heard Pei Yuzhou answering a telephone call about company matters.
He took the mobile phone out to the balcony.
Meng Shuyou thought hazily, how did he still have the energy to work?
Pei Yuzhou’s telephone call lasted twenty minutes. When he returned to the bedroom, she was already fast asleep, her long hair scattered by the pillow, the flush on her palm-sized face not yet faded, kiss marks covering her collarbone and chest.
He turned off the light and lifted the quilt to lie down.
Meng Shuyou sensed the heat source beside her and instinctively leaned toward him, nuzzling in his arms.
Pei Yuzhou pulled her shoulder into his arms, his Adam’s apple rolling frequently, heat building below his abdomen.
With her, it was never enough.
Warm kisses fell gently and slowly, his palm stroking over her back.
In her dream, Meng Shuyou seemed to be swept by waves, surging up and down with the waves, calming only after a long time.
They slept embracing each other until dawn.
The mobile phone on the bedside table rang, vibrating nonstop.
Pei Yuzhou reached over, opened his eyes to look, and woke the person in his arms. “Telephone call.”
Meng Shuyou hadn’t slept enough and was pillowed on his arm. She asked vaguely, “Who is it?”
“Your friend, Winnie.”
“Mmm… answer it for me…”
Pei Yuzhou pressed the answer button, held the mobile phone to his ear, and said in a slightly low voice, “Hello.”
“Yaoyao…” Winnie stopped the words on the tip of her tongue. “Mister Pei, um, where’s Yaoyao?”
Pei Yuzhou looked down and pulled the quilt up a bit. “She hasn’t woken up yet. What’s the matter? I’ll pass it on to her.”
Winnie was silent for two seconds. “It’s nothing. Have her call me back when she wakes up. Then I won’t disturb you.”
The telephone call ended.
Pei Yuzhou put the mobile phone back.
The curtains were tightly closed, blocking the light outside.
Meng Shuyou woke up an hour later, and there was no one beside her.
She sat up on the bed and looked for clothes to put on.
Having been tossed so intensely, her legs were sore and weak.
How crazy it had been—from yesterday afternoon at four until nine at night, even in her dreams, he didn’t stop.
But why did the dream feel so real? She vaguely remembered Pei Yuzhou biting her.
Meng Shuyou went into the bathroom to wash up, muttering, “Too much, unrestrained, watch out for kidney deficiency.”
“Who has kidney deficiency?”
A voice suddenly came from behind, startling her.
Pei Yuzhou leaned halfway against the door, staring leisurely at the little girl in the mirror. “Who has kidney deficiency, hmm?”
Meng Shuyou met his gaze and lowered her lashes. “Me, I have kidney deficiency, I’m weak all over.”
Pei Yuzhou walked behind her and smoothed her hair. “Then replenish more.”
Meng Shuyou was dissatisfied. “If you restrain yourself a bit, I wouldn’t need to replenish.”
Pei Yuzhou leaned down to whisper in her ear, “I’ve already restrained myself. Otherwise, do you think you could still get out of bed now?”
Warm breath sprinkled on her ear, slightly itchy.
Should she thank him for that?
Meng Shuyou raised her hand to push him back. “Go away, I need to brush my teeth.”
“Go downstairs for breakfast.” Pei Yuzhou turned and added a reminder. “By the way, your friend wants you to call her back.”
Meng Shuyou had no recollection. “Who called me? Did you answer it for me?”
Pei Yuzhou glanced sideways. “You told me to answer it. Forgot?”
“I was half-asleep.”
After washing up, Meng Shuyou returned to the bedside, picked up the mobile phone, checked the call log, and called Winnie back.
The call connected, and she asked, “Winnie, what did you need me for?”
Her voice rose on the other end. “Yaoyao, you just woke up? How intense were you two last night?”
