Chapter 69: Completion
Hui and a few beastmen came back very quickly.
Among the beastmen who came together, besides the four people Su Ran asked Hui to find, there was also Yao Yao’s companion, that peacock beastman.
Because they didn’t see each other often, Su Ran had never given it a human name.
So as soon as they met, Yao Yao dragged the peacock beastman to Su Ran’s front, eyes sparkling as she pointed at the peacock beastman and said to Su Ran: “Ran Ran, ying~”
Seeing that Su Ran didn’t understand its meaning for a moment, it pointed at itself, then at Xiao Ju and A Jin nearby: “Yao Yao, Xiao Ju, A, A Jin…”
After speaking, Yao Yao pointed at the peacock beastman beside her: “Ran Ran, ying~”
This was asking Su Ran what the peacock beastman was called.
Su Ran looked at the peacock beastman in front of her who was so dazzling that the entire beastman seemed to be sparkling, feeling that for a moment she really couldn’t think of a simple name that matched its stunningly beautiful appearance.

Su Ran smiled helplessly and raised her hand to pat Hui’s solid and taut chest, then looked at Yao Yao and pointed at the peacock beastman: “Yao Yao, it, Qing Yu.”

Su Ran nodded; this name was almost instantly decided by her in two or three seconds.
The peacock beastman’s ink-black long hair like Qing ink, and that jade-like flawless appearance, made Su Ran feel that not giving it such a name would be a blasphemy to that face.
But when she saw the peacock beastman reveal a silly grin upon getting the new name that was no less than Hui’s usual one, Su Ran couldn’t help but have three black lines slide down her forehead.
She suddenly thought that fortunately this was in the Beast World.
If it were on Earth, these beastmen with looks all at ten A-plus and above would probably be easily tricked home by people on the roadside!
After the little interlude of naming, Su Ran explained to the beastmen with words and gestures the reason for calling them over.
With Hui, who knew more human language, helping to explain on the side, the beastmen finally understood Su Ran’s meaning after a few minutes.
Then the four male beastmen began to take action.
Under Su Ran’s constant gestures, they first flipped over the upside-down rain shelter.
Then each holding one end of a pillar, they slowly inserted the pillar into the pit Su Ran had dug in advance, following where Su Ran pointed.
After the pillar fell into the pit, Su Ran hurriedly took the entrenching tool and backfilled the dug-out soil.
Xiao Ju and Yao Yao, who had been curiously watching from the time the male beastmen started lifting the shelter, finally couldn’t resist coming forward to help when they saw Su Ran’s actions.
Xiao Ju stood next to a pillar and called out to Su Ran once.
When Su Ran looked up, it gently pushed the soil from the edge of the pit into the pit with its foot, then looked up at Su Ran: “Ran Ran, mi wu~ wu?”

As she spoke, she gestured.
While she was speaking, Hui’s gaze had been fixed on her lips, looking like he was seriously trying to understand her words.
He looked up at the rain shelter that already had an inner roof layer, then back at the roof cover on the ground: “This one, up?”
Su Ran nodded quickly: “Yes, put it up.”
“Got it!”
Hui responded crisply, then he looked at A Huo, Qing Yu, and A Jin beside him, and said a few words to them in beast language “ao ao wu wu,” after which the male beastmen moved again.
But this time, A Huo without wings couldn’t go up to help.
So Hui, A Jin, and Qing Yu had to lift the roof cover together, fly up, and place the roof cover on top.
After the roof cover was placed, it still needed to be fixed one last time.
But Su Ran didn’t have a very good fixing method; at most, she could use willow branches to tie the shrubs binding the roof cover, a small handful at a time, to the beams on the roof.
But she didn’t expect this task to be harder than any previous step.
She was held by Hui and flown up, placed at the edge of the roof, with the roof cover under her butt right at the beam section.
She tried lying on the roof but found her hands couldn’t reach through the roof cover directly above to tie the rope to the beam.
With no other way, Su Ran could only have Hui hold her, hovering on the outer side of the rain shelter roof with constant small movements in flight, tying the roof cover and the beam together.
This was another major project for Su Ran comparable to every previous step, but fortunately, Xiao Ju, Yao Yao, and Qing Yu were by her side.
The beastmen were filled with immense curiosity about every action of Su Ran.
They almost didn’t need Su Ran to speak; they would come up to her with sparkling eyes to curiously observe, then run off to “practice” it themselves.
As the group focused on bustling around the rain shelter, the sun overhead gradually began to slant westward.
By the time the roof cover part was completely finished, Su Ran realized it was almost evening again.
The temperature now was slightly lower than at noon, but it wouldn’t make anyone feel cold.
The shadows in the woods increased with the sun’s shift, giving the feeling of the scorching afternoon transitioning to the most comfortable temperature before evening.
Su Ran looked up at the basically completed rain shelter, a sense of accomplishment welling up in her heart.
Actually, for her, the rain shelter was still missing the final step.
She still wanted to lay a layer of flatter stones under the rain shelter to make the ground.

Second, when it rained or during hot summer weather, it would be convenient for her to sit in the rain shelter to rest without getting her body dirty.
