Chapter 42: Kissing
Su Ran hurriedly lifted her head, but she only felt a cool breeze brush over the top of her head—
This suddenly reminded her of the first time she met the werewolf, when the werewolf had also flown over her head like this.
And now, before she could react, she was suddenly grabbed by a pair of hands with sharp claws on both shoulders and lifted out of the water surface!
Her body, completely naked and soaked with water, tensed up all over when it suddenly came into contact with the air, feeling cold.
But before she could adapt, she was carried flying into the bird’s nest.
After entering the bird’s nest, Su Ran’s feet didn’t even touch the ground before she was suddenly pushed down onto the grass pile by the werewolf.
She let out a startled cry! Raising her eyes, she met the werewolf’s eyes filled with anger.
The werewolf had never shown her such an expression before.
This was completely different from how it usually played and fought with other male beastmen!
Its light green eyes seemed to have turned a deep lake-green due to anger, with the black pupils in the center shrinking into an extremely tiny circle.
It crouched above her body, its wings behind it slightly spread due to the tension in its body. Its two arms supported on either side of her head, lowering its head and letting out a low angry roar from its throat toward her!
As its angry voice sounded, its open mouth revealed four frighteningly shaped fangs.
Su Ran was so scared that she couldn’t stop trembling all over.
This was the first time the werewolf had shown such an angry demeanor toward her.
The werewolf’s appearance made her feel that it wouldn’t be surprising even if it wanted to tear her apart and eat her right now.
She lay completely naked under the werewolf, her brain rapidly analyzing her current situation.
The werewolf was probably angry because it came back and found her not in the bird’s nest.
But when it found her, she hadn’t gone too far from the bird’s nest, nor had she made any escape actions.
Instead, she was fully soaked in the river water, which could still prove that she hadn’t wanted to escape.
And after the werewolf found her, up to now, it had first brought her back to the bird’s nest right away.
Although it had been continuously roaring and warning her with angry huffs since returning, she could still see the panic in its eyes.
This seemed to indicate that the werewolf didn’t intend to harm her.
It was more like questioning her, “Why did you run out alone?”
Or “Why did you go out without saying anything?”
Up to now, Su Ran only had sore shoulders from being grabbed by the werewolf’s sharp claws.
After figuring out these key points in an instant, Su Ran’s heartbeat gradually slowed a bit.
The werewolf’s angry roar continued beside her ear. Noticing her distraction, it lowered its body even more, almost nose tip to nose tip with Su Ran.
It let out a heavy, rough “Ao wu~~~~~~” from deep in its throat.
But this howl was quickly interrupted.
Because when it took a breath to catch its air, Su Ran suddenly lifted her head and quickly kissed its lips!
The werewolf’s “Wu~ wu~ wu~” only managed a single “wu” before abruptly stopping.
It seemed a bit stunned, staring blankly at Su Ran as the black pupils in its eyes slowly expanded.
And while it was still out of it, Su Ran softly called out to it again: “Gray.”
In fact, Su Ran’s face was also a bit red at this moment.
Because she had originally only wanted to kiss the werewolf’s cheek, just like kissing the little cat she used to raise, to comfort it a bit.
But unexpectedly, the moment she saw the werewolf open its mouth, her brain heated up, and she subconsciously kissed it right on the mouth.
By the time she realized it, the kiss was already done.
She pretended to be calm on the surface, but inside, it was as chaotic as ten thousand rabbits jumping spring dances in her chest.
Who knew how she had used the action meant for coaxing her little house cat on the werewolf in that instant!
But the little cat at home would dodge away when she wanted to kiss its mouth!
She felt like crying but had no tears, afraid that the werewolf would overthink it.
But her facial expression remained calm and natural.
On her naked thighs below, a fluffy thing brushed over, feeling a bit itchy. Su Ran knew that was the werewolf’s tail.
And after just a few seconds, the werewolf’s tail brushed over her thigh again.
A wagging tail—didn’t that mean the werewolf’s mood had improved a bit?
“Gray.”
Su Ran stared directly into the werewolf’s eyes. Sure enough, the next second, she immediately felt a fluffy sensation brush over her thigh.
Then the werewolf in front of her looked at her and softly said: “Wu~~”
This call was soft, carrying grievance and sadness.
It made Su Ran’s heart uncontrollably soften into a complete mess.
The werewolf’s gaze toward her also gradually softened.
It gently rested its head in the hollow of Su Ran’s neck.
Its body pressed tightly against hers, holding her in its embrace like it was acting spoiled.
The soft-haired head rubbed back and forth in the hollow of Su Ran’s neck, with muffled “wu wu” sounds occasionally from its throat.
Just listening to it made one’s heart uncontrollably soften.
Su Ran raised her hand to stroke the werewolf’s hair, and then felt the werewolf hug her even tighter.
That appearance was just like facing some precious thing that had been lost and found again.
Facing the werewolf’s emotions shifting from panic and anger to grievance and sadness, feeling each other’s body warmth transmitted through their skin, Su Ran suddenly felt a corner of her heart collapse.
She knew that some cognitions and concepts she had developed growing up in her original world were already starting to change drastically with the change in her current living environment.
Su Ran was thus held by the werewolf, lying together in the bird’s nest.
In this early morning before the mist had dispersed, even without clothes on, she didn’t feel cold.
Because the werewolf’s chest in front of her was scorching hot, and its wings behind her wrapped her tightly, covering her entire body except the top of her head, almost airtight.
In this warm atmosphere, it made one uncontrollably drowsy.
But Su Ran still pushed against the werewolf’s chest.
The campfire by the riverside was still burning, and now there was no one over there. She was afraid something unexpected might happen.
And most importantly, right now between her and the werewolf, there was only a thin layer of underwear separating them, almost no different from skin-to-skin contact.
She was really a bit afraid of one wave not settling before another rises.
After all, the werewolf wasn’t without feeling toward her.
The previous time coming back from the seaside, she was still wearing clothes, and it had already caused that kind of reaction in the werewolf.
Not to mention now, with both of them almost completely undressed and tightly embraced.
Especially the underwear the werewolf was wearing, which did nothing to hide the friend below it.
Although last time for some reason, the werewolf had a reaction but didn’t do anything to her.
But after such an emotionally charged event upfront this time, no one could guarantee it wouldn’t get carried away in the moment.
