Chapter 4: Cat Beastman
“Roar!”
The werewolf let out a low roar at the few beastmen following behind. The sound was a bit like anger, and a bit like demonstration, then it turned around and strode to Su Ran’s side in two steps.
Su Ran stood in place, somewhat afraid but also a bit curious as she sized up the beastmen in front of her.
Among the four beastmen, two were cat-type beastmen, and the other two had a big red fox tail and a white dog tail respectively.
The two cat-type beastmen both had golden hair, with two small ears on top of their heads constantly twitching back and forth, and one of them with hair reaching down to her back was a female.
While Su Ran was sizing them up, the beastmen opposite were also curiously sizing her up.
That female feline beastman was the first to walk up to Su Ran, her round big eyes with enlarged black pupils almost filling the entire iris.
Like the werewolf at the beginning, she twitched her small nose and sniffed around Su Ran’s body for a while, then stared motionless at Su Ran for a few seconds, suddenly opening her mouth: “Meow~”
Su Ran was stunned.

Then her gaze swept over and suddenly landed on the undulating hills on the little cat person’s bare upper body, her brain froze, and she quickly looked away.

At that moment, a figure flashed in front of her, accompanied by an extremely short “Ying—”, and the fox-type beastman was suddenly kicked out of the bird’s nest.
Two seconds later, a heavy “thud” came from below the bird’s nest!
Su Ran was dazed for a moment, looking at the werewolf standing in front of her growling lowly at the other two beastmen, and suddenly had a guess.
So these four beastmen came specifically to see her, the “prey” brought back, out of curiosity?
And the female cat person was allowed to touch her because they were the same gender, but the fox-type beastman got beaten for touching her because it was male?
This behavior… Su Ran looked at the werewolf standing in front of her, her gaze carrying a bit of indescribable feeling.
Could it be that she was really picked up as a “female”?
Wu… she wanted to go home!
The remaining three beastmen were quickly driven out of the bird’s nest by the werewolf, and that female cat beastman kept turning her head back to look at her as she left, her mouth continuously making “meow” sounds.
It was so cute that Su Ran’s heart was practically melting!
After the four beastmen briefly stayed in the bird’s nest and left, the werewolf’s mood was clearly much better than when they were still there.
Its low-hanging big tail swished left and right, the fluffy tail with considerable weight hitting Su Ran’s calf.
Then he suddenly bent down toward Su Ran, his two hands with sharp nails gripping her waist one on each side, and lifted her up.
Su Ran was startled, just about to struggle, when the werewolf already placed her in the deepest part of the bird’s nest.
She sat there, with a lot of dry grass and feathers padded under her butt, which should be where the werewolf usually slept.
She looked up at the tall beastman standing in front of her. Because of her sitting position, her gaze fell right between his two thick, completely uncovered legs.
The blush on her face hadn’t faded and heated up again, but her body broke out in cold sweat!
What was this beastman going to do by putting her here now? Could it really be to do… that illicit thing with her?
In a short instant, countless thoughts flashed through Su Ran’s mind:
Was life more important or chastity more important?
The debatable existence of reproductive isolation between humans and beastmen?
The probability of being eaten after refusing the werewolf?
However, the next second, none of the things she imagined happened. After putting her down, the werewolf squatted down, making fine “wu wu” sounds from his throat at her while forcefully licking her cheek.
Until Su Ran was almost pushed over by his leaning body, the werewolf stopped the action, barked “wang wu wang wu” at her twice, looking like he was comforting her.
Only after feeling Su Ran’s body gradually relax did he stand up, walk to the bird’s nest entrance, half-spread his huge wings, slightly bent his legs and pushed off, then flew out.
After the werewolf left, Su Ran sat in place for a good while before slowly standing up.
She quickly walked to the bird’s nest entrance, cautiously poked her head out and looked toward under the tree. Outside, there was only the sound of wind blowing through the leaves, nothing else.
Then she quickly walked back into the bird’s nest and put down the backpack on her back.
For now, regardless of the werewolf’s purpose in picking her up, at least it was certain that it had no intention of harming her.
Su Ran tried hard not to think about the werewolf’s true intentions in bringing her back, and firmly suppressed the idea of escaping deep in her heart for the time being.

She took down the sleeping bag tied to the backpack, then opened the backpack and dumped out all the things inside.
