Chapter 123: Do You Have Someone Else In Your Heart?
Lin Ningkun choked, his throat tightened. “Xi Xi, I know you’ve resented me these years. I’ve thought a lot during this time too. I was wrong about the past matters. I shouldn’t have treated you that way, leaving you at home and ignoring you.”
Jiang Ruanxi frowned slightly, looking at the man in front of her who spoke with earnest words. A wave of disgust surged in her heart.
What was this man scheming again?

Jiang Ruanxi breathed a sigh of relief and loosened her boots.

She hadn’t expected to use them on Lin Ningkun.
Jiang Ruanxi shook her head, not expecting Run Ru to have saved her.
Soon Hong Ye came in too and was startled by the scene.
“Madam, blood…” Hong Ye pointed at the bed in full terror.
Jiang Ruanxi looked down and saw a pool of blood on the bed. Her eyes narrowed slightly.
