Chapter 7: Shi Anxin
It’s seeds!
Shi An’an looked at the fifteen seeds in the box in surprise, closed her eyes and sensed them carefully. Sure enough, she wasn’t mistaken; there was indeed faint spiritual energy in the seeds.
This discovery made Shi An’an extremely delighted. After the seeds sprouted and matured, there would be even more spiritual energy!

Shi An’an shook her head. “No need. Let them adapt to the new environment first. I’m going upstairs. Don’t call me for dinner; I’ll drink nutrient solution.”
“Okay, Miss An’an.”
Shi An’an carried the flower pots back to her room. “Treasures, grow up quickly!”
She placed the flower pots beside her and meditated to cultivate nearby. This was her little secret from her previous life for planting spiritual plants: cultivating next to plants to form a spiritual energy cycle with them. “Xiao Xiao, long time no see.” Shi Anxin saw Shi Xiaoxiao and smiled as she spoke. Then her eyes scanned around, but she didn’t see the person she wanted to see.
“Sis… uh… where’s Younger Sister?” Shi Anxin was a bit unaccustomed to the term and asked stiffly.
“Are you asking about Miss An’an? Miss An’an is in her room. She instructed not to disturb her. Miss An’an hasn’t gone out for five days already,” Shi Xiaoxiao answered respectfully.
“Five days!” Shi Anxin’s expression changed drastically. Thinking of how Shi An’an had been attacked by a star beast on the road before and nearly lost her life, she quickly headed to Shi An’an’s room.
“Knock knock knock…”
Shi Anxin calmly knocked on Shi An’an’s door, but there was no response from inside. Her worry grew. “An’an, An’an…”
The knocking became more urgent, and Shi Anxin’s heart tightened. She prepared to break in.

“Younger Sis…”
The door opened, and Shi Anxin’s call stopped abruptly. When she saw the person inside clearly, her eyes instantly reddened.
“Uh…” Shi An’an had been interrupted in her cultivation and hadn’t had time to ask what was wrong when she saw the girl outside with red eyes, about to cry the next second.

“Older Sister, wait a moment. I happen to have a gift for you too.” As she spoke, Shi An’an thought of the thriving plants in the room and prepared to give some to her Older Sister whom she was meeting for the first time.
When Shi An’an saw the situation in the flower pots, she decisively turned around, pulled Shi Anxin inside from the doorway, and said, “Older Sister, pick whichever you like. I’ll pot it for you right away once you choose.”
“Pot… it?” Shi Anxin was still savoring the word “Older Sister” and An’an’s words about giving her a gift when she was pulled into the room before she could react.
As soon as she entered the room, Shi Anxin keenly sensed a comfortable aura inside. Then a very beautiful scene came into view.
In the pink room were clusters of fresh green plants and vibrant yellow sunflowers full of life. The fresh scent of plants and the fragrance of flowers in the air instantly soothed Shi Anxin’s tense nerves.
“Older Sister, which one do you like? I’ll put it in a nice pot for you. I bought lots of pretty flower pots. Pick one.” As Shi An’an spoke, she took out various flower pots from the packages she had bought earlier. All sorts of flower pots, delightful to look at.
Shi Anxin listened to every word Shi An’an said, but it seemed she didn’t understand.
“These… these plants…” Shi Anxin stammered a bit. The plants in An’an’s room felt completely different from any she had seen before.
“Pick whichever you like. I’ll plant another batch later.” Shi An’an said generously. She had to admit, this Older Sister’s looks and aura were completely to her taste— so handsome.
Neat short hair, sharp brows and eyes, cool features, upright posture. Wow, with the bruise on her face, what a dashing woman.
Shi Anxin quickly calmed down. Looking at Shi An’an who was gazing at her with starry eyes, the corners of her mouth curved up slightly, a gentleness flashing in her eyes that even she herself barely noticed.
“You grew all these?”
Shi An’an nodded. “Yeah, it’s been a short time. These few are rose flowers, about to bud.” Shi An’an bent down to check.
She had rushed to open the door earlier and hadn’t checked the growth of each sprouted seed yet. But judging from the much more spiritual power in her body, these plants were growing very well.
