Chapter 33: Wisdom Means Going All In!
Zeus smiled and said, “Respected Oceanus, don’t you think the Ocean is too lonely?”
He sincerely said, “You bear the great responsibility of expanding the world, yet while you are doing the greatest things, the Ocean Gods cannot enjoy the world’s beauty and diversity; this is truly unfair.”
“The Ocean’s special nature makes it empty, the Ocean is infinitely majestic and vast, but it is truly too lonely; this should not be the honor that you and your dear children should enjoy!”
“The God King’s new laws are instead an opportunity, an opportunity for the Ocean to fuse with the world.”
“I want to create the Outer Sea in the middle between the world and the Ocean, where the sea is like the Inner Sea, able to sustain life, colorful and diverse, like the prosperous world on Earth.”
“At that time, please have the Ocean God reside in the Outer Sea, and together enjoy this beautiful world, far away from this endless loneliness.”

“Great Oceanus, gracious and loving Thetis, in front of my sacred Mother Goddess Rhea, I promise you two great Titans that I will ensure the Ocean God’s every honor in the ocean and on Earth, sharing all the honors of the ocean, Earth’s rivers, and lakes!”
“In the new era, the world welcomes the arrival of the Ocean God, with no restrictions; the Ocean and the world will fuse into one!”
A smile finally appeared on Oceanus’s face from the bottom of his heart; he was very satisfied with this outcome.
Zeus’s proposal perfectly solved the Ocean Gods’ solitude and limitations, even painting a broader future for them.
Moreover, this plan also demonstrated Zeus’s wisdom and character, making Oceanus feel much more at ease; at least Zeus was not a god who would harm one comrade’s interests to pull in allies.
Cooperating with such a god is reliable.
Oceanus said, “Illustrious Zeus, son of Goddess Queen Rhea, your magnanimity and wisdom impress the gods; you will surely become the greatest God King, even surpassing the great Heavenly Father and Cronus!”
“All Ocean Gods will obey your command from this day forward; we will be your most loyal comrades!”
Zeus laughed, “Thank you for your support; with your support, we will surely build the most glorious new era, an unprecedented golden age!”
With that, Zeus smiled and said, “Your daughter, the beautiful bright-eyed goddess Metis, her wisdom stuns the gods just like her beauty; she will be my most important friend. Here, I request that you let her stay by my side to help.”
Oceanus glanced at Metis; she had been quietly listening to everything, and even upon hearing Zeus’s request, she kept her head lowered in silence, quiet and reserved.
The Ocean God smiled faintly, looked at Zeus, nodded with a smile, and said, “It is our Ocean’s honor to help you; we seek nothing more.”
Thetis’s lips held the gentlest and most beautiful smile, and warm words came from her mouth: “Now, let us fully enjoy this day worth celebrating for eternity!”
“My dear Rhea, dear Zeus, please taste the Ocean’s honey wine and ambrosia, and see how it differs from that within the world?”
Thetis’s warm words put a perfect end to today’s meeting.
The Ocean Current has decided to go all in and get on board! They are truly fed up with Cronus!
When Zeus left the Ocean, he and Rhea had one more god by their side; Metis quietly and calmly followed beside them, the incarnation of wisdom like a serene deep pool.
Rhea had been chatting idly with Tethys, all the while paying attention to the conversation between Oceanus and Zeus; she felt extremely gratified, even moved to anticipation herself for a more prosperous and harmonious future.
She smiled and asked, “Zeus, where should we go next?”
Zeus smiled back, “Well,”
He looked at the silent Metis: “Of course, this must follow the beautiful Metis’s advice.”
Rhea looked at Zeus and Metis, scanning their faces, understanding in her heart.
Metis suddenly heard Zeus say this, pondered for a moment, then gracefully spoke, her voice calm like a clear spring: “Go meet the Abyssal Sea.”
“Pontus has always lived in unease; winning his support won’t be difficult. He will accept the new order you plan to establish.”
“His daughter, the sea power Eurybia, is the wife of Cosmic Framework Crius; once Pontus expresses support, through this connection, Crius will be more inclined toward you.”
“Crius and Eurybia’s children are Astraeus, Pallas, Perses; they are all powerful Starry Sky great gods, but under the current cosmic order, they cannot gain their own honors.”
“My sister Styx, and Pallas’s several children, are also forbidden from entering the world.”
Metis paused, then continued, “If you are willing to grant them honors in the new era, that will be enough to win Crius’s support.”
“Their eldest son Astraeus and the youngest daughter of Father of Celestial Bodies Hyperion, Eos, have many stars and Wind Gods, who likewise cannot enjoy the honors they deserve under the current order.”
“Great God Hyperion and sacred Theia’s children, the radiant gods Helios and moon Semele, are also forbidden from having their own honors in the world; their radiance cannot fully shine.”
“With Crius’s support, Great God Hyperion and sacred Theia will naturally support you as well.”

“Even after gaining their support, they will not directly assist in battle; they have all sworn to the God King never to betray him.”
Zeus smiled confidently: “I don’t need them to assist directly; as long as many great gods remain neutral, that is enough—neutrality itself is a form of help.”
