“Alright, then this old man will take you all to join in the fun,” Dugu Bo said.
The team that Dugu Yan was on was Heaven Dou Team One, the seed team, which didn’t need to participate in the selection at all. Dugu Bo originally had no intention of going to watch the matches, but since the benefactors wanted to go, he was naturally willing to accompany them.
“Um, can I participate in the competition?” A Xing suddenly asked expectantly.

A Xing was stunned, and March 7th excitedly patted Meng Huaifeng.
“You can’t do this to me. Is our roommate bond really that fragile?” A Xing looked at Meng Huaifeng pitifully.
Meng Huaifeng slightly turned his head away from her, and March 7th said smugly, “Admit defeat, A Xing. The outside is all my people.”

Yu Xiaogang, still wanting to participate in the tournament despite not having enough people, led the Shrek group to merge with Blue Tyrant Academy. Yu Tianheng, who had left Heaven Dou Team One, was prominently in Shrek Academy’s team.
The personnel changes weren’t too big, mainly the strength differences.
In the original story, thanks to the immortal herbs, all of Shrek’s Seven Devils were above level 40. But now, only Yu Tianheng and Dai Mubai had reached level 40, one at level 43 and one at level 42. The others were below level 40, and Tang San was only at level 38.
Heaven Dou Team One, on the other hand, had Dugu Yan at level 53, leading the pack. Ye Lingling seemed to have consumed an immortal herb too, reaching level 48. With those two, they could sweep all teams in the Heaven Dou division.
The first day was the opening ceremony, with just one match as an opening performance. The formal competition was the next day.
On the second day, Emperor Xue Ye didn’t come; the Crown Prince Xue Qinghe came in his place.
The real Xue Qinghe had long been dead. The current Xue Qinghe was Spirit Hall’s Young Master Qian Renxue in disguise.

“Interfering in local forces’ struggles isn’t great,” March 7th hesitated a bit.
“Just exposing her, how is that interfering? We’re not helping one side fight. We’re just providing a tiny bit of negligible help to the more just, more favorable side. That’s not a big deal, right?” Meng Huaifeng argued convincingly.
Meng Huaifeng hadn’t forgotten what Uncle Yang said at the beginning: occasionally stepping in when you can’t stand it, punishing evil and promoting good, doing good deeds isn’t a big deal.
“You think the nobles’ side is more just?” March 7th could hardly believe it.
