Chapter 44: Inevitable Conflict
The strong persons of this world were weaker than imagined. Welt slightly reduced some gravity.

However, the Bloody God didn’t listen to Welt’s explanation at all. In its view, falling into the hands of an Outer Realm Evil God meant certain death.

Half of the Bloody God’s body turned into blood, instantly evaporating completely. The massive energy allowed the Bloody God to briefly ignore Welt’s gravity suppression. Its entire body turned into a beam of red light, shooting toward the life planet below, hiding who knows where.
Welt’s mouth twitched, feeling a bit of a headache. This was trouble now.
Trouble or not, there was no way around it. They couldn’t just find the person and kill them, right?
“Sigh.”
Welt sighed and returned to the train.
“Welt passenger, what should we do, Pam?” Pamu asked worriedly.
“No matter. We just continue doing what we should. We have a clear conscience. When they send more people, I’ll explain clearly. Even if conflict really arises, I’m confident I can keep the train safe.” Welt said solemnly, a gleam flashing on its glasses.
Real flash! Welt used its ability to add special effects to itself!
Welt did have this confidence. Not to mention pioneering new worlds, it had walked further on the Pioneer Destiny, and its strength had become stronger.
From Meng Huaifeng’s description of this world’s God Kings, it also analyzed that this world’s top-tier combat power could at most explode a star, still planetary level, just barely touching the edge of a top-tier Pathfinder.
The gap between Pathfinders sometimes was even greater than between humans and dogs.
Even among top-tier Pathfinders, the weak could barely explode planets, while the strong could explode stars and even slay Envoys in reverse.
“Welt passenger is truly reassuring. I’ve prepared juice. Do you want some, Pam?” Pamu said relieved.
“Thank you, Train Conductor.” Welt did not refuse, then sighed: “Pioneering a new unknown world for the first time, preparations weren’t sufficient enough. Conflict with local forces could have been avoided. I was too self-conceited.”
In its own universe, any force connected to the network, even if they hadn’t seen Nameless, had definitely heard legends of Nameless, so they could easily gain trust traveling the universe.
But this was a completely unknown universe. The people here hadn’t heard stories of the Stellar Train and Nameless, lacking that natural filter, so local forces naturally held extreme vigilance and wariness toward them.
“It’s not Welt passenger’s fault. When Acheron was here, pioneering new worlds often led to being wanted and hunted by local forces, Pam. Even explaining clearly didn’t help.” Pamu comforted.
Wanted and hunted Acheron? Those people really weren’t afraid of death.
Probably only Acheron and Aha would face that.
Welt pondered for a moment and figured out the connection.
With the two universes connected into one, it brought not only development and opportunities, but also challenges and change. Incoming culture would surely cause strong impact to the old order. Most stable forces were unwilling to accept change, only wanting to steadily stand at the top.
And the Douluo World’s controllers seemed to be that kind of conservative, stable force.
Conflict might be unavoidable. Welt realized.
After the Bloody God escaped, half a day passed without that person pursuing, and it finally opened the passage to the God Realm.
After entering the God Realm, the Bloody God headed straight for the Asura Temple.
“Lord Asura, your subordinate has important matters to report!”
“Bloody? How are you injured so severely?” The Asura God King said shocked.
“Lord Asura, your subordinate accidentally discovered an Outer Realm Evil God that wants to invade the God Realm. I intended to slay it, but that evil god’s strength was extraordinary. Your subordinate was no match. After a bloody battle, I was severely injured and could only temporarily retreat to report this to Lord Asura…” The Bloody God embellished the causes and effects of the matter.
It emphasized why it believed that Outer Realm Evil God wanted to invade the God Realm. Of course, in the telling, it inevitably added some of its own speculations.
“Go receive some faith to recover your injuries, then come with me to capture them.”
After hearing the Bloody God’s words, the Asura God King also believed Welt’s group was the vanguard for invading their world, immediately deciding to personally act and capture them, then interrogate the invading force’s situation.
To avoid conflict as much as possible, Welt and Pamu had prepared early, staying far from local beings. The Stellar Train’s speed was fast, so the Asura God King couldn’t catch them at all.
The Asura God King could only send out a large number of subordinate gods to pursue and intercept within the general range.
Such a large-scale mobilization of gods naturally couldn’t be hidden from the other God Kings, but after slightly understanding the situation, they believed the small vanguard was just good at escaping and would eventually fall into the Asura God King’s hands, so they didn’t intervene.
They only waited for the Asura God King to capture them, then discuss matters of their original world together.
After a full several months, the Asura God King finally cornered the Stellar Train.
Welt and Pamu helplessly exchanged a glance and sighed.
Welt got off the train and confronted the Asura God King in the universe.
“You may have a misunderstanding about us. We are simply pioneering the unknown. We really are not trying to invade your universe.”
“Misunderstanding? Why run if it’s a misunderstanding?” The Asura God King sneered.
“We just wanted to avoid unnecessary conflict.”
“Hmph, running proves you have a guilty conscience.”
Welt felt very tired at heart. The benevolent see benevolence, the wise see wisdom. You always think of invading others, so you always think others want to invade you.
“What pioneering? Isn’t it just intelligence gathering with a different name? You even said you want to open a passage between the two universes?” Though it had already heard from the Bloody God, the Asura God King still wanted to ask personally.
“We connect the two realms not for invasion, but to promote development of the two worlds, conduct cultural and economic exchange, and develop together.” Welt explained.
“Will many people from the other world come to our world?”
“For exchange, there must be personnel movement. You can also go to our world.” Welt tried not to let the Asura God King misunderstand.
However…
“Sounds nice! Once connected, what you want to do isn’t up to you in one thought?” The Bloody God jumped out and said.
“Exactly, trying to use this rhetoric to numb us? Too naive.” The Asura God King was already prejudiced, not easily persuaded.
“You are Outer Realm evil demons!”
“Asura Blood Slash!”
Red light glowed in the Asura God King’s eyes, boundless killing intent enveloping Welt. The entire universe emitted a faint blood color. The Asura Divine Sword was unsheathed, blood-red sword energy slashing toward Welt.
“Looks like I have to act. Pamu, I’ll hold them off. You leave first.” Welt calmly adjusted its glasses, fully confident.
Really want to draw Knight King, but feeling like the later SP March 7th, Dan Heng, and Xili are all heavyweights, really no tickets left, sigh
