Chapter 42: A Second Pokémon?
It was rare to hear the name of someone familiar in this distant, unfamiliar era, which sparked an impulse in Lei Wen to meet them.

Lei Wen nodded and said, “Leave it to me.”
“Yes!”
Ryan handed the Snivy over.
Lei Wen carefully examined the Snivy’s injuries and then took it to the physician Lila.
“Your Highness, this is?” Lila was stunned as she looked at the unconscious little monster.
“It’s a monster Ryan brought back from outside. Lila, I need Healing Potion and Frostbite Potion,” Lei Wen said, placing the Snivy on the bed.
“Yes!”
Lila got up and handed over two bottles of potion from the shelf.
Lei Wen propped up the Snivy, first using the Healing Potion to treat its wounds, and then administered the Frostbite Potion into its mouth.
This Healing Potion was made with the Vitality Root that Anna had gathered earlier. The moment the liquid entered the Snivy’s mouth, its wounds began to heal at a visible rate.

Those humans who had intruded upon their home and destroyed the trees they depended on for survival had not harmed them but had shown them a very friendly demeanor.
The Snivy didn’t want to die, so, searching for any possibility of survival, it pushed through the forest and, in the heavy snow, rushed towards the humans’ territory.
But eventually, it collapsed in the snow from exhaustion.
Now that it had woken up, was it saved by those humans?
Thinking this, the Snivy slowly opened its eyes.
The next second, it saw a familiar face.
The Snivy was slightly startled.
“You’re awake?” Lei Wen said with a smile, “We meet again, Snivy.”
“Snivy…”
“I don’t know what you went through, but judging by your injuries, it must have been something terrible,” Lei Wen said.
“Snivy.” The Snivy’s mind recalled the events of the previous night, and its expression turned ice-cold.

“Because of us, you lost the home you depended on for survival. I am deeply sorry for that. The Blizzard is coming, and the temperature will become extremely cold soon. It will be difficult to find food outside then.”
“So, consider my previous offer? Spend this winter with us and the Poffins. I will provide you with food and shelter.”
“When spring comes next year, I will help you rebuild a Berry Orchard to be your new home.”
