“Heh heh, Xia Chenge, this kid’s life is in your hands. Hand over what you have obediently, and have that old undying transfer Sheng Xia’s shares to Minglan’s name, or I’ll kill this kid,” Xu Jingyi revealed his ferocious face.
“What if I don’t?” Xia Chenge stared at him sharply.
Xu Jingyi immediately felt a pressure bearing down on him, so heavy that he could barely breathe.
He took a deep breath, confident that Xia Chenge wouldn’t be able to rescue Wei Yu.
“Then don’t blame me for being ruthless. After all, you’re mentally ill, so anything you do that endangers public safety is normal,” Xu Jingyi said with sinister eyes.
“Little Miss, don’t agree to him!” Wei Lixin shouted, enduring the piercing pain. “We can’t let this beast have his way. If he dares to harm a single hair on Xiao Yu’s head, I’ll fight him to the death.”

Just then, Xia Chenge flickered. No one could see what happened, but the man holding Wei Yu suddenly screamed and was sent flying. Xia Chenge was already holding Wei Yu and had returned to her original spot, as if she had never moved.
If the man hadn’t fallen to the ground and screamed again, no one would have believed that Xia Chenge had rescued him in an instant.
Xu Jingyi’s laughter abruptly stopped. He stared wide-eyed at the person lying on the ground, then at Xia Chenge. A thick fear enveloped him. Xu Jingyi had never felt death so close.
