“What does this have to do with the Xia family?” Xia Chenge frowned.
The shopkeeper shook his head and forced a smile, saying, “I need to check the kitchen. Please eat slowly!”
With that, he turned and walked towards the back kitchen, not continuing his explanation.
Xia Chenge lost her appetite.
She looked at Ling Hanmu, who had an innocent expression.
Xia Chenge called the boss out to pay and pack.
“What’s wrong?” Ling Hanmu, carrying the takeout boxes, caught up to Xia Chenge, who had already started walking out.
Xia Chenge glanced at him and continued forward.
“I just wanted to help you. This is a breakthrough!” Ling Hanmu finally confessed, “Aren’t you planning to deal with Xu Jingyi?”
“How will you help?” Xia Chenge stopped.
“Let’s talk in the car,” Ling Hanmu gestured towards the car.
Once in the car, Ling Hanmu started the engine and said, “Over the years, Xu Jingyi has used the Xia family’s funds to get involved in various industries. He’s very smart, but his subordinates aren’t.”
