Chapter 77: Her Mistake Was Thinking
Mu Qingran shrugged helplessly and glanced at Yin Lingyan, “She ordered it.”
Yin Chubei’s gaze fell back on his half-sister, truly not expecting her to drink such strong liquor.
Yin Lingyan glanced awkwardly at the astonished looks of the three, she… was just venting her anger.
“Then since we have enough people now, how about we play Truth or Dare?” Ye Qianyu glanced triumphantly at Han Wuyu, who remained silent. Mu Qingran’s spirits immediately lifted upon hearing this.
“My brother is coming soon, can we wait?” She had called her brother as soon as they arrived. Yin Lingchen, worried about the two girls being at the bar, insisted on coming too. Mu Qingran readily agreed.
As if on cue, Yin Lingchen pushed the door open and saw five people gathered together, with one seat left, seemingly for him.
Yin Lingchen cast a suspicious glance at Yin Lingyan. Yin Lingyan gave an awkward smile, weakly explaining, “It’s just a chance encounter.”
“Switch seats.” Han Wuyu stood up and said to Yin Lingchen. He was on Yin Lingyan’s right, and Mu Qingran was on Han Wuyu’s right. After the switch, Yin Lingyan was now to Han Wuyu’s left and Yin Lingchen to his right. Yin Lingchen was next to Mu Qingran, and Ye Qianyu and Yin Chubei sat to Han Wuyu’s left.
Yin Lingyan didn’t think much of his sudden request to switch seats, but it was awkward that the two who had just said they wanted to be apart were now sitting together playing a game.
Han Wuyu’s gaze, whether intentional or not, rested on Yin Lingyan. He had made up his mind; it was her business if she didn’t like him, as long as he liked her. He would absolutely not let her leave like this.
Ye Qianyu placed a large-screen mobile phone on the table, “Whoever the bottle points to will get a truth or dare question. Understand?”
The five nodded, and the game began.
The bottle spun and spun, slowly coming to a stop. Little by little, Yin Lingyan watched nervously as the bottle neared her, but the bottle, not favoring her, slid right in front of Han Wuyu.
Yin Chubei curved a triumphant smile. The question after the bottle was: Have you ever liked someone?
Yin Lingyan was actually a little expectant, wanting to see what the question would be. However, after seeing it, she was stunned. If she said he had, she would be disappointed; if she said he hadn’t, she would also be disappointed.
Han Wuyu glanced at the dazed Yin Lingyan and didn’t hesitate, “Yes.”

“The scope of the question has passed.” Han Wuyu leaned back in his chair, his hands crossed on his lap. His slightly tipsy face looked captivating.
“Alright.” Disappointed, they returned to the game. Clicking start, the bottle spun around again. With a nervous and uneasy heart, they waited for the bottle to land. Finally, it landed right in front of Yin Lingyan.
Yin Lingyan looked at the question nervously. When the question appeared, she breathed a sigh of relief. It read: Drink three cups of wine.
She smiled brightly and picked up the bottle of the strongest liquor, drinking it down. After three cups, the potent liquor indeed made Yin Lingyan blush slightly. She stood up and said, “Excuse me, I need to go to the restroom.”
After Yin Lingyan left, Han Wuyu immediately stood up, “I need to go to the restroom too.”
The others were engrossed in the game and didn’t notice their movements. The four continued playing Truth or Dare. Yin Lingyan looked at herself in the mirror, her cheeks flushed, her large eyes a little hazy. Indeed, after leaving Han Wuyu, she felt much more relaxed.
She then splashed cold water on her face. Taking a deep breath, she walked out of the restroom, only to find a figure waiting for her there.
