Chapter 64: Kiss me again
A warm, soft touch spread from her lips to her brain nerves, and Lian Li’s body stiffened abruptly.
His strength was light, yet his presence was extremely strong, like the gentle brush of a fierce bird’s feather.
Her breathing stopped instantly, her heart pounded violently, and her limbs felt frozen, motionless.
Jin Shi Yue kissed her slowly and deliberately, with ease. His lips lingered for a moment, then his tongue pushed open her teeth and gently hooked her soft tongue.
Their wet lips met, like an unexpected electric shock. Stimulated, Lian Li instinctively leaned back.
Jin Shi Yue held her chin with one hand to stop her from dodging, and slowly sucked on her lips and tongue,
His scorching heat was quickly transmitted to Lian Li through their touching lips and the palm of his hand on her lower back.
Her temperature rose, the activity of the alcohol molecules in her body increased, and a boundless haze spread, attacking every cell in her body.
Jin Shi Yue’s pleasant scent enveloped Lian Li. The alcohol blurred her consciousness, and the man in front of her made her heart race, causing her to clench her fists.
In the spacious suite, it was silent and quiet, as if only their breathing and heartbeats remained.
The palm of Jin Shi Yue’s hand, which was around Lian Li’s waist, slid forward, grasping her cold, boneless hand.
He guided her hand under his clothes and pressed her chilled hand against his waist.
The muscles on the man’s body were distinct, firm, and hot. The comfortable touch and the blazing body heat were like a raging fire, instantly warming every inch of skin on Lian Li’s hand.
As his kiss deepened, Lian Li’s breathing became uneven. The slowly approaching state of oxygen deprivation caused her consciousness to return bit by bit.
One of Lian Li’s hands was completely pressed against Jin Shi Yue’s waist by him. Her other hand, after regaining a sliver of clear reason, pushed against his shoulder, forcefully shoving him away.
Lian Li’s consciousness was still immersed in the strong alcohol. Her breathing was rapid, and her almond-shaped eyes were misty, making her look naive and dazed.
“Why did you put my hand inside your clothes?”
She didn’t expect her first question to be this.
Jin Shi Yue released Lian Li’s chin, his arm naturally encircling her waist, trapping her in a small space.
He said calmly, “To warm your hands. You’re welcome.”
The body beneath his palm was strong and hot; the large hand on her back was firm and powerful. Caught between them, Lian Li had nowhere to escape.
She blinked her eyelashes in a daze, her luminous eyes looking at him, and asked again, “Why did you kiss me?”
“I asked if you drank, and you didn’t answer, so I had to reluctantly find the answer myself.”
Jin Shi Yue’s dark eyes fell directly on her face, his voice seductive, his tone seemingly casual, “I didn’t taste it just now. Open your mouth, let me kiss you again.”
Lian Li was astonished.
When he asks a question and others don’t answer, he takes matters into his own hands to find the answer.
How could he be like this!
If she said she had her period, would he have tried to pull down her pants to check?
Pervert!
“Let me go.” Lian Li felt the alcohol in her system acting up again, her head feeling heavy and dizzy, causing certain memories that didn’t belong to her to inexplicably appear in her mind.
She sat in Jin Shi Yue’s arms, her arms around his neck, her face buried in his neck, gently nuzzling… as if throwing a tantrum, or perhaps acting spoiled.
Lian Li suddenly felt flustered and didn’t want to stay there any longer.
Jin Shi Yue’s lips curved up playfully, “Let go of which one.”
He tapped his right index finger on her waist, “This one?”
Lian Li’s waist tingled.
Then, he held her left hand and squeezed it, “Or this one?”
Lian Li’s hands felt soft and weak.
The man’s eyes darkened slightly, hiding desire. His deep, dark pupils seemed capable of swallowing a person whole.
Whether it was due to the alcohol or something else, Lian Li’s eyelashes trembled, and she averted her gaze.
“You drank and still dare to come to a man’s room,” Jin Shi Yue said. “Junior Sister, you’re quite bold.”
“Didn’t you drink too?” Lian Li felt he was being sexist, as he had drunk no less than her, yet he was accusing her.
“You trust me so much?” Jin Shi Yue narrowed his eyes to look at her, his voice hoarse.
The man before her was uncontrollable, unfathomable, and extremely dangerous. The word “trust” felt utterly out of place when applied to him.
Yet Lian Li paused, not immediately objecting.
“I want to go back.” Lian Li tried to pull her hand out of his palm. After two attempts, she finally succeeded, and she looked up at him.
The moment her gaze met Jin Shi Yue’s, Lian Li’s heart skipped a beat.
His bone structure was striking, his features sharp and rugged, the curve of his eyes lifting with unrestrained arrogance, exuding an exceptionally cool, noble, and roguish charm.
Jin Shi Yue’s arm still held Lian Li’s waist, seemingly not intending to let her go so soon. “Was tonight fun?”
“It was okay.”
Because of the kiss just now, Lian Li’s eyes were tinged with a blush like rouge. When her beautiful eyes looked at him, there was no flaw.
Lian Li’s features were delicate. Her face was clean, her skin like frost and snow. With such a flawless face, even when doing something bad, she wouldn’t be annoying.
The way she looked at people was very calm and composed.
“The bartender.” Jin Shi Yue asked.
Lian Li was confused, “What?”
“Weren’t you staring at him the whole time, liking that bartender type?” Jin Shi Yue said with a tone that enjoyed stirring up trouble, a hint of sarcasm in his voice, “Your taste is really bad.”
Lian Li was bewildered.
Her preferred type was already obvious.
Jin Yan Ting was a living example.
What did the bartender have to do with it?
“What’s wrong with your forehead?” Jin Shi Yue looked at her full forehead and asked again, “Have you been kowtowing to someone behind my back recently?”
Lian Li was speechless. She raised her hand and touched the mark on her forehead, saying, “It wasn’t kowtowing. I bumped it last time, and it hadn’t fully healed, causing a difference in skin tone.”
Besides, this difference in skin tone wasn’t obvious unless you looked closely, or under particularly clear lighting.
She didn’t know what kind of eyesight he had to be able to see it in the dimly lit living room.
“Put me down.” Lian Li was still sitting on Jin Shi Yue’s lap. The muscles of his thighs beneath her were firm, and their warmth transmitted through her clothes, as if he were touching her.
Jin Shi Yue had a very strong aura. Every time Lian Li got close to him, she felt as if she were tightly surrounded by something tangible.
Perhaps it was the scorching heat, perhaps the pleasant scent, or perhaps some kind of hormone.
It was hard to pinpoint what it was, but it felt very strange.
Jin Shi Yue leaned against the back of the sofa and released Lian Li’s waist. Lian Li quickly got off him and crawled onto the sofa beside them.
“How much did you drink?” Jin Shi Yue glanced at her sideways, his voice deep and a little lazy.
“Not much.” Lian Li worried he would try to find the answer himself again, “About three or four cups.”
“Are you an adult?” Jin Shi Yue raised his eyebrows, looking quite interested.
“…” This was the third time.
Lian Li hummed and said, “I’m going back.”
Jin Shi Yue leaned lazily on the sofa, glancing at her, and remained silent.
Lian Li assumed he had tacitly agreed and got up to leave.
Jin Shi Yue watched her walk about five steps away, then turn back.
