Li Mei’s eyes were filled with hatred as she watched Xia Yang, until his figure disappeared from her sight!
Situ Jingyi cried and asked, “Auntie, what do we do now?”
Li Mei said with deep worry, “Don’t worry, Auntie will get your Dad out. If you don’t want to go home, you can stay here for a few days. I’m worried about you being home alone!”
Situ Jingyi nodded, then followed Li Mei back to the room. She lay on the bed, her mind filled with images of Qing Tian and Ji Xiangyu being intimate, and their laughter echoed in her ears!
She was extremely agitated, so she stood up and walked around casually. As soon as she reached the garden, she heard Xia Yang and Ji Xiangyu talking in the gazebo!
Ji Xiangyu said to one of the young women, “Elisabeth, I’ll leave the wedding arrangements to you. It would be best if it could be held next Monday, as that is the day my lover and I first met!”
Ji Xiangyu’s memory drifted back to five years ago, on an afternoon. Qing Tian sat dejectedly under the shade of a tree watching him play soccer. He deliberately kicked the ball towards her, thinking he could strike up a conversation. Who knew Qing Tian would run away! This left him flustered at the time. Thinking back to that distant afternoon, his heart overflowed with happiness!
Xia Yang’s heart stirred upon hearing this. So Ji Xiangyu and Qing Tian knew each other before he did. Therefore, Qing Tian was initially attracted to Ji Xiangyu. He lost because of this. However, as long as Qing Tian was happy, he felt content!
Elisabeth smiled slightly, “I didn’t expect Young Master Ji to be so thoughtful, remembering even the first day he met the bride. Don’t worry, our team will handle everything. We’ll make sure you give it a perfect score!”
Ji Xiangyu said with relief, “I have great confidence in your team!”
Elisabeth stood up, extended her hand, and said with a smile, “Congratulations!”
Ji Xiangyu also extended his hand to shake hers, smiling happily and saying, “Thank you!”
After the wedding planner left, Xia Yang asked Ji Xiangyu, “Isn’t this too rushed? The wedding originally scheduled for next month is suddenly moved up to next Monday?!”
Situ Jingyi, hiding in the corner, heard Xia Yang’s words and was almost driven mad by the shock. Next Monday, that’s only three days away! What should she do? She was going to lose Ji Xiangyu, what could she do?
Ji Xiangyu’s voice reached her ears, feeling like ten thousand needles piercing her skin, making her wish for death!
Ji Xiangyu said, “I’m afraid Jingyi or others might do something to Qing Tian and the baby. The sooner we get married, the sooner we leave here, the more beneficial it will be for Qing Tian and the baby. The reason I’m in such a hurry is all for Qing Tian and the baby in her belly. I can’t let anyone harm my family, no one!”
Xia Yang walked up to Ji Xiangyu, extended his hand, and patted him heavily on the shoulder, saying, “Brother, I hope you can protect them both. The hotel and Grandfather are my responsibility, don’t worry too much. Come back to see us when you’re tired!”
Ji Xiangyu experienced the care from his brother for the first time, feeling deeply touched. His eyes moistened as he said, “Thank you, my good brother!”
After speaking, the two embraced. After so many years, they finally resolved their differences. Having gone through so much, it was all worth it!
Xia Yang hugged Ji Xiangyu tightly and said, “I’m entrusting Qing Tian to you. If you ever wrong her, I won’t go easy on you!”
Ji Xiangyu pushed Xia Yang away and smiled, “Is our relationship really okay like this?”
Xia Yang also smiled and said, “Who knows? Let heaven answer that question!”
Ji Xiangyu looked at the sky and sighed, “That’s true. Heaven will arrange everything!”
