Director Bai went downstairs immediately after finishing the telephone call. The butler opened the door, and Director Bai walked out.
As Ji Xiangyu was drowsy, he happened to see Director Bai coming out. He almost thought he was mistaken and hurried over, saying, “You’ve finally agreed to see me!”
Director Bai looked at Ji Xiangyu with a look of amusement, sizing him up and saying, “Not bad, you have patience. However, a sob story won’t work on me, Bai!”
Ji Xiangyu’s expression froze, and a cold look climbed onto his face: “What does this mean?”
Director Bai smiled proudly and said, “Don’t waste your efforts. I won’t change my mind. Go back and tell your grandfather properly that our Bai Family and the Situ Family will not let go!”
Ji Xiangyu’s face changed drastically, and he grabbed Director Bai: “Director Bai, isn’t the hotel for everyone? Why divide it into yours and mine?”
Director Bai became angry and roared furiously: “You should go back and ask your grandfather how he used any means necessary to seize everything decades ago!”
Ji Xiangyu didn’t believe his grandfather was that kind of person: “No, Director Bai, please reconsider. As long as you agree not to participate, I’ll do anything you ask!”
Director Bai waved his hand and stood aside, saying playfully, “Hmph~~~~ If you were to kneel and beg me, I would consider it carefully!”
Ji Xiangyu’s veins bulged, and he suppressed his anger. This was truly bullying too much. When had he, Ji Xiangyu, ever begged anyone? Kneeling was absolutely out of the question!
“I presume that even if I knelt, Director Bai still wouldn’t change his mind, so why would I do something so unnecessary?”
Then, the sound of a sports car speeding approached, followed immediately by a piercing screech of brakes.
Xia Yang quickly got out of the car and walked up to Director Bai, saying with a smile, “Why is the Chairman here? I happen to have something I need to discuss with Director Bai!”
Director Bai frowned. He had forgotten about the General Manager. He still had leverage over him. His expression immediately soured, and he said grimly, “General Manager, you should go back too. I have nothing to say to you!”
Xia Yang said to Bruce behind him, “Bruce, escort the Chairman back!”
Ji Xiangyu refused, saying, “No need for the General Manager to worry, I can go back by myself. Besides, until Director Bai agrees, I won’t leave!”
Xia Yang said to Ji Xiangyu helplessly, “Chairman, I hope you choose your moments when throwing a tantrum!”
Ji Xiangyu, unconvinced, grabbed Xia Yang’s collar and gritted his teeth: “Who are you calling a tantrum?”
Xia Yang said dismissively, “Chairman, what time is it?”
He deliberately used polite language, which annoyed Ji Xiangyu greatly, but he couldn’t lash out in front of Director Bai!
Director Bai looked at the document bag in Xia Yang’s hand and said helplessly, “General Manager, please come in. Chairman, you should go home. I will not back down on this matter!”
Afterward, Xia Yang and Director Bai entered the Bai Family residence.
Bruce respectfully asked, “Does the Chairman wish to return to the hotel or the apartment?”
Ji Xiangyu shot Bruce a glare, got into his car, and sped away!
In the car, he couldn’t understand why Director Bai’s expression changed as soon as Xia Yang appeared. Could it be that there was something he couldn’t reveal?
