Chapter 136: A Lesson
Athena looked at the liquid dripping down her hair and glared at the culprit, Allen. She slapped Allen across the face, then kicked him hard in the calf.
Allen looked at Athena in pain, crouching on the ground, but a wicked smile still lingered on his lips!
The customer service representative beside them was completely stunned. The Chief Assistant was truly amazing, daring to lay hands on a guest!
Athena looked at Allen expressionlessly and said, “Guest, you’ve gone too far!”
Allen jauntily held his wine glass and slowly approached Athena’s skirt, sneering, “This is too far? What about this?”
After speaking, he slowly began to push up her skirt. Athena, seeing this shameless man, got angry and immediately kicked his wine glass away, “Guest, please have some self-respect!”
Allen stood up with a serious expression and said to the customer service representative, “You didn’t see anything!”
The customer service representative was taken aback, then saw Allen press the front desk telephone, “Call your manager. There’s a crazy woman causing trouble in my room, immediately!”
Hearing that it was the Evaluation Team calling, they nervously dialed Andrei’s Office. Upon hearing the news, Andrei immediately rushed over.
By this time, everyone had moved to the living room. Allen sat on the sofa in a lazy manner, his hands casually resting on the armrests, looking proudly at Athena. Red wine liquid was still dripping from Athena’s hair, but that didn’t explain everything. Someone like Allen would surely have various tricks to deal with Athena. At this moment, Athena regretted not having severely injured or crippled Allen earlier.
Andrei and Bruce entered the room and saw Athena in a disheveled state, immediately asking, “What happened?”
Athena shook her head. Allen smiled and said, “Quite efficient. I was enjoying my red wine in my room when your customer service representative spilled it, and then called an accomplice to demand compensation from me. Is this trash? Is this a five-star hotel? This is simply a roadside hovel, a bunch of thugs!”
Andrei knew that what Allen was saying was not the truth, but at this critical juncture, he didn’t dare to determine who was right or wrong. What he wanted was to quell the matter!
Andrei roared sternly, “Is this true?!”
The customer service representative was already too scared to speak. Athena, being sensible, knew that Allen would not let this matter go. If she continued to entangle herself, she would likely be the one to suffer in the end.
Athena remained silent, which was exactly what Allen wanted. He feigned anger and said, “No need to ask. General Manager, how do you plan to settle this matter?”
Andrei loudly said, “Why aren’t you apologizing to Mr. Allen quickly?!”
Athena numbly walked to Allen’s side, bent over, and bowed, saying with no emotion, “I’m sorry, Mr. Allen. I hope you can be understanding about this matter!”
Allen approached Athena, reached out, and gripped her chin, saying, “With your looks, working as a Miss at the hotel is truly a waste!”
Hearing Allen insult Athena like this, Andrei immediately stepped forward and forcefully slapped Allen’s hand away, saying, “Guest, please be merciful. Be careful not to bring trouble upon yourself!”
After speaking, he immediately straightened his suit and looked at the others, saying, “Mr. Allen is tired. Everyone, please leave!”
Allen gritted his teeth and looked at Andrei, saying nothing, but thinking to himself, “We’ll see!”
Outside the room, after Andrei dismissed everyone else, he looked at Athena angrily and reprimanded her, “Athena, you’re increasingly disregarding me. I warned you not to provoke the Evaluation Team, so why did you go anyway? Does what I say have no effect at all?”
Athena looked at Andrei apologetically, “I’m sorry, I was just passing by!”
Andrei looked at Athena helplessly and said with concern, “I’m not blaming you. I just don’t want you to get involved in this mess. You know he’s not someone easy to deal with! Go tidy yourself up first. The way you look now is irritating me!”
I’m irritated because I can’t bear to see you get hurt! This is the true meaning.
However, Athena thought he was annoyed because she had angered Andrei, so she left without a word.
Arriving at the staff area, she took out a towel to wipe her hair. Just as she was lost in thought, a pair of hands snatched her towel and began to wipe her hair gently in her place.
Athena turned her head and looked in surprise at the man with pursed lips.
