When Qing Tian woke up, her head was pounding. She only felt that her surroundings were damp and dark, and she could hear dripping water sounds from time to time. Her eyes were covered with a cloth, and she couldn’t see anything. She only knew that a beam of light was shining in from her three o’clock direction!
Her first reaction was that she had been kidnapped. But she had no money and hadn’t offended anyone, so why would she be kidnapped?

Seeing Qing Tian like this, the man smugly took out his mobile phone and waved it back and forth in front of her eyes. Qing Tian felt a beam of light flashing in her eyes, but she didn’t know what was causing it. Then she heard the man who kidnapped her say with a laugh, “I wonder what Ji Xiangyu’s reaction will be when he receives your message? Will he give up hope or smash his phone?”
Qing Tian didn’t understand what he meant. She made muffled sounds. The more she acted like this, the happier her kidnapper became. Qing Tian knew nothing in the darkness, had no way to call for help, and didn’t even know if she would survive!
At this moment, the only person she could think of besides Ji Xiangyu was Wu Feng. But she hadn’t seen Wu Feng since that night. It felt like a dream, and the events of that night were also like a dream, a dream she would still remember after waking up!

After he finished speaking, Qing Tian heard the man in black leave and lock the door. She let out a deep breath. Her hand ached terribly, and her face was burning. What should she do?
On the other side, Ji Xiangyu had been waiting at the school gate for over an hour when he received Qing Tian’s reply text. At that moment, he suspected his phone was malfunctioning. How could a message like that be from Qing Tian?
Absolutely impossible!
The text message clearly read: “Don’t wait for me, I’m not coming. I don’t want to see you, ever! Don’t pester me anymore!”
He immediately called back, but no one answered. He was very confused. This behavior was completely unlike Qing Tian. With a hint of doubt, he continued to dial Qing Tian’s mobile phone until he heard the mechanical voice stating that the other party’s phone was turned off!
Suddenly, a downpour began. Ji Xiangyu let the rain drench him. He was determined to wait for Qing Tian.
