Chapter 78: The Real Kiss
Chapter Seventy-Nine: The Real Kiss
Qing Tian’s eyes widened as she looked at Ji Xiangyu, saying in disbelief, “Ji Xiangyu, what are you doing?”
Ji Xiangyu ignored Qing Tian’s question and said to Xia Yang, “That’s enough for today. Just as you said before, please stay away from Qing Tian!”
Xia Yang immediately laughed and pulled Qing Tian closer, but Ji Xiangyu hid Qing Tian behind him first. Xia Yang did not get his wish!
Xia Yang didn’t force it and said proudly, “I’ve kissed her, so I will definitely take responsibility for Qing Tian. At the very least, I will run for election at the end of the month as you wished. And at that time, it will be clear who is qualified to stand by Qing Tian’s side. Wasn’t that your proposal, Young Master Ji? You don’t have that bad of a memory, do you? But it’s okay if you forgot, at least I’ve given you a reminder today!”
Xia Yang said, and blew a kiss at Qing Tian, “Then I’ll be going now!”
Qing Tian tried to break free from Ji Xiangyu’s grip, but Ji Xiangyu roughly threw her over his shoulder. Qing Tian struggled and said, “Ji Xiangyu, put me down, put me down!”
Ji Xiangyu ignored Qing Tian’s struggles and left the place decisively!
The students below were in chaos. The Student Union Chairman, An Lingfeng, smiled and said to everyone, “Students, please remain calm. As you have heard, at the change of leadership election at the end of the month, I will select a candidate to serve as Student Union Chairman between Xia Yang and Ji Xiangyu after a comprehensive evaluation. Please participate enthusiastically in the voting then!”
The students below sighed and walked away one by one!
In the corridor of the music room, Ji Xiangyu pointed to the music room and said, “You were here that day, crying at the doorway of the music room. I happened to be preparing to practice a melody for a competition. I didn’t know why you were crying so sadly, and I didn’t dare to disturb you. Later, I realized you were always in my sight. At first, I thought maybe because I had seen you before, I paid more attention to you. You would sit under the big tree every day watching us play soccer. Back then, I thought you had special feelings for me. Now, I realize it was all my own wishful thinking!”
Ji Xiangyu said, laughing at himself!
Qing Tian was startled by Ji Xiangyu’s sudden words! She said in disbelief, “You saw me here that day?”
Ji Xiangyu nodded. Qing Tian’s eyes were filled with turbulent waves, her emotions rising and falling!
She didn’t know that Ji Xiangyu also had feelings for her, but why was he only saying it now?
Qing Tian said emotionally, “What are you trying to say by telling me this?”
Ji Xiangyu paused, then smiled gently. He wanted to tell her that he cared about her! But he couldn’t bring himself to say such a heartfelt confession.
Qing Tian waited, wanting to hear what Ji Xiangyu would say. Ji Xiangyu hesitated, unsure how to begin.
As they both remained silent, Ji Xiangyu suddenly leaned closer to Qing Tian, lowering his head and looking at her with a tangled gaze.
Then Qing Tian heard Ji Xiangyu say, “Qing Tian, if you don’t want this, tell me!”
Qing Tian was stunned. Before she could understand what was happening, she saw Ji Xiangyu’s face getting closer and closer, until Ji Xiangyu’s nose tip touched hers. Only then did Qing Tian understand what he meant. But just as she was about to say something, his soft lips landed on hers, and the scent of jasmine filled her nostrils.
Qing Tian’s thoughts drifted back to their first kiss after getting drunk last time. Perhaps it was the alcohol that gave them the courage to touch that way!
But today, they were both completely sober, yet this kiss still left her unable to resist!
There was a faint taste of dark chocolate in her mouth, bitter yet sweet. She seemed to be influenced by Ji Xiangyu’s gentleness, and her hands uncontrollably wrapped around Ji Xiangyu’s back. Ji Xiangyu clearly felt Qing Tian’s change, and his heart filled with excitement as he pulled Qing Tian into his embrace. His words were no longer as gentle as before; it was as if he wanted to possess her, to absorb her into his body.
Qing Tian tilted her head back, enduring Ji Xiangyu’s stormy kiss. Even so, his hands still gently massaged her earlobes, softly caressing them intermittently.
Qing Tian was lost in Ji Xiangyu’s embrace, only able to accept what Ji Xiangyu gave her! A dominant yet gentle giving!
Perhaps because their hearts were already leaning towards each other, once the defenses were broken, many things became unstoppable, just like they were now.
Qing Tian’s mind raced, wondering why Ji Xiangyu was acting so out of character, why he wasn’t afraid of being seen kissing her in such a public place at school?
Could it be because of Xia Yang? Just because Xia Yang kissed her?
If that was the case, wouldn’t she be very pathetic?
Thinking about these questions, Qing Tian felt a wave of grievance. With a surge of strength, she pushed Ji Xiangyu away, but he pulled her back tightly. Qing Tian struggled again. When she couldn’t break free, she began to pound on Ji Xiangyu’s chest! She pounded silently, until finally, she silently collapsed into his arms, tears streaming down her face!
Ji Xiangyu sighed helplessly into the air. What should he do with Qing Tian?
He wanted to protect the girl in his arms but felt powerless. He felt like a complete failure.
He silently said to himself: Qing Tian, can I openly like you?
