Lin Chusheng lowered his head, looking at the Dragon Bone Porridge in the white porcelain bowl, which gave off a warm feeling.

“Brother Chusheng, eat quickly! I made a lot!” Ye Chuxiao urged.
“Okay.” Lin Chusheng continued to eat the porridge, his heart filled with emotion.
He understood that it was because last night when Xiaoxiao fed him plain congee, he had frowned at first. Xiaoxiao noticed and thought he didn’t like plain congee. So this morning, she rushed to the early market, specifically to buy bones to make broth and then cook porridge for him.
She had barely slept last night, and was now curled up on the sofa, exhausted.

“Aunt Song called me,” Ye Chuxiao said truthfully. “She said she couldn’t reach you all day and was very worried, asking me to help find you. After you fell asleep last night, I called Aunt Song back and told her you were sick and that she should let you rest well.”
“Xiaoxiao…” Lin Chusheng paused, then said hoarsely, “Jie’er and I broke up.”
