Chapter 13: Cultivation After Enlightenment And Shallow Six Kin Affinity
Do you know why what I say is different from what other so-called cultivators say?
Because I cultivate after enlightenment and have realized many principles along the way.
And at a specific moment, I suddenly had an epiphany, changed my cognition, and thus obtained my unique cultivation method.
Do you see this symbol?
Yin contains yang, yang contains yin, yin and yang embrace each other.
If consciousness is yang, then the subconscious is yin.
Your consciousness will unconsciously influence your subconscious self, and your subconscious will also unconsciously influence your consciousness.
These two points are inseparable. What we need to cultivate is the line in the middle of the Tai Chi symbol, merging our consciousness and subconscious, and standing in the middle position.
After cultivating to this point, you will be able to transform yin and yang mutually and possess the strength to twist heaven and earth.
That is to say, you can turn black into white, evil into good, transform bad thoughts into good ones, and change perspectives at will.
Do not take personal consciousness as the main body, but rather observe yourself and everything from an objective, macro perspective.
It’s like playing a game, controlling your character, starting by controlling their thought patterns, and making this character think and act in the direction you desire.
And if you can cultivate to this point, it is the so-called jailbreak, bug, or cheat.
What kind of cancer or tumor, all of that is cognition instilled in you by others.
It is merely a result of being influenced by habits, and a mutation in your energy, not an incurable disease.
As long as you change this cognition, understand the principle behind it, and transform it from the root, that is, from the heart, and from your living habits.
Then all illnesses will eventually improve.
Conversely, the more you believe that it cannot be cured, the more frustrated and distressed you become, plunging yourself into an abyss, the harder it will be for you to climb out.
How can someone whose heart has died possibly live?
How can you possibly die if your heart is alive and can change at will?
If you can freely change the laws of your body and mind, you can naturally change your habits at will. After energy balance, those illnesses will naturally stop spreading or improve.
The heart can kill and it can save. Mind and spirit, mind and spirit; the mind is the spirit.
The spiritual platform, the crescent moon cave, the Bodhi immortal, are all your mind-intent.
If you can change your mind-intent at will, you are an immortal, you are a god, and you possess the power to cure everything.
The heart is the best medicine in this world.
To set the heart right means to place the heart in the very center. As long as the heart is in the center, you can use the power of the heart.
What they call spiritual cultivation, divine cultivation, all cultivate this heart. As the saying goes, the soul, the mind; the heart is the root of all things.
No matter what the matter is, one must start from this root and resolve the problem from the root. All matters will yield twice the result with half the effort and develop in a good direction.
This you should comprehend yourself; listen more, read more, and think more.
Now let’s talk about the topic of shallow six kin affinity.
I think many friends have heard of this statement on the internet;
If everyone around you says you have a good personality and are emotionally stable, but as soon as you communicate with your family, you become very impatient, and your inner heart unconsciously starts to feel irritated. However, when you see their sad expressions, or their gray hair, you feel guilty. Psychology calls this something like emotional indifference syndrome.
These self-proclaimed cultivators will tell you that in cultivation, they call this shallow six kin affinity, and say it’s because you live too transparently, that you have it very difficult, your relationships are very bumpy, and you’ve encountered many difficulties alone along the way, often overcoming many obstacles by yourself.
This kind of nonsense is actually to create resonance with you and make you believe what they say.
Because, who the hell hasn’t come through this way? Ninety-eight out of a hundred people are like this.
These are all experiences that ordinary people go through, but they use them to create emotional resonance with you, making you think they are very right and that you are that kind of person.
Hahaha, if you believe it, then you have been brainwashed. This is comforting your soul. Or perhaps it’s chicken soup.
The only good thing is that they will advise you a few words at the end, saying that people like you are not without good fortune; on the contrary, you have great good fortune, and you should focus your heart on your career, etc., and in the future, things will be very good.
In reality, they are exploiting your superficial cognition and your weakness of not being able to connect with others’ experiences, making you feel that what they say is too miraculous, thereby developing trust in this person. Then, whenever something goes wrong in your life, you will definitely think of asking for advice from her. So, while she provides you with psychological counseling, （ performs rituals, sells talismans, etc. ）, she tells you how to proceed, which is actually changing your cognition. The more you believe, the more likely you are to succeed. This is the same principle as the power of belief I talked about before.
Thus, while profiting from you, you also feel that it has indeed helped you.
To put it bluntly, this point is exploiting human nature to help people adjust their mindset, which is to transform their cognition.
As for cultivating immortality, the true meaning of shallow six kin affinity is not that a person is not close to their family.
These six kin refer to the sentient beings in the six paths of rebirth.
Shallow six kin affinity means that when a person cultivates to a certain state, the state I described as the line in the middle of the Tai Chi symbol.
At this point, you can see the patterns of human nature, or the patterns of sentient beings. Sometimes it’s not that they want to do this or that, but they act this way or that way due to the influence of habits.
You yourself will not be affected by these, and your inner heart will not be constrained by emotional reasons, sentimental reasons, or any other reasons.
This is the true meaning of shallow six kin affinity.
Because you understand the principle of the birth and death of thought, there is no fixed normal state.
Knowing that they are only speaking or acting due to certain habitual factors, you will not dwell on it or become troubled.
The mind can leap freely, coming and going, and at any time, clearly recognize the essence or purpose of things from various environments.
Seemingly unfeeling, yet sentient; seemingly indifferent, but with a heart like a bright mirror, knowing the cause and effect of things better than anyone.
Thus, you do not become deeply immersed in it.
For example, if a relative tells you to do this, to do that, but they themselves are not living particularly well, yet they come to advise you.
This point can make you very irritated, but you know they mean well and want to offer some advice and help in your life with their individual cognition.
Perhaps sometimes, when they are too invested and even become emotionally involved, you cannot accept this.
Because you do not want to be controlled, led, or have others dominate your life or living.
This is a very normal emotional fluctuation, because all living beings like freedom and to be unrestrained.
Seeing this clearly, you understand others as well as yourself.
If you can jump out of habitual thinking to observe, then you have achieved the meaning of shallow six kin affinity.
