Chapter 19: Light In The Heart
Actually, if you think about it, isn’t living anywhere the same? The same eat, drink, urinate, defecate, sleep.
The fewer desires humans have, the more happiness they experience.
Take a look at those primitive people who haven’t yet entered the technological life; although they seem savage and filthy compared to ordinary humans.
However, their happiness is very simple; going out for a hunt and catching a bit of food can make them happy all day.
And then look at those who take life lightly and live simply; raising flowers and farming a little is enough to make them happy.
Much of our time now doesn’t truly belong to us.
Things like watching videos and playing games mostly absorb our energy, and time passes without us realizing it.
I’m not saying this is bad, but sometimes, when one calms down, they should still think about it.
If a person’s time is one unit, then if half is taken by this and three-tenths by that, only a little bit of their own time is left.
This little bit of time passes before one can even react.
Some people live their whole lives without understanding because they spend all their time on various things, never stopping to think about who they truly are.
Thus, they are controlled by their habits for their entire lives and never understand.
Some cultivators, even, when they reach a certain point, disregard national affairs and observe coldly.
To come to this world to cultivate and save others is a mission, but protecting the family and the country is a heavenly duty.
Would you say that an innate heavenly duty should be greater than a mission? Of course, an innate heavenly duty must be greater than a mission during peacetime.
These two points do not conflict; during peacetime, people should cultivate well, and during national crisis, they should take up arms and fight.
This is also an embodiment of great benevolence and righteousness, a Bodhi Heart and Vajra Wrath.
Having only a Bodhisattva’s Heart is not enough; when demons attack, if you don’t slay them, what will become of Huaxia’s sentient beings?
What will become of all sentient beings in the world? If you can’t even protect a single Pure Land, how can you protect the hearts of the people in the world?
How can you save all sentient beings?
If you don’t protect the people around you, are those people around you not sentient beings?
If you only live to survive, who else will you save? Save running dogs? Save traitors? Save enemies?
To be blunt, if you can’t even protect and save the sentient beings around you, what on earth are you saving?
The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation aims to jointly create a community of shared future for mankind.
Which other country can do this? Which country has such Great Righteousness?
Some countries, under the guise of maintaining world peace, snatch resources everywhere, snatch oil, and label any enemy that does not cooperate as terrorist.
If the children of Huaxia do not rise up, and these kinds of people dominate the direction of the world, you can imagine how despicable it is when they plunder you and label you as evil.
Therefore, no matter how ignorantly people make dregs of evaluations about us, please believe that this is merely their individual cognitive perception.
Compared to countries still living in suffering, Huaxia can be said to be like heaven itself.
You don’t need to worry about being robbed on the street using “all beings are equal,” nor do you need to worry about arguing with neighbors and being dealt with using “all beings are equal.”
So-called freedom should begin with humanity liberating their souls, not with trapping themselves in cognitive habits and then blaming heaven and others.
Everyone will die eventually. For injustices in the heart, resolve them in the heart; for injustices in matters, resolve them in matters. These are not excuses for us to blame heaven and others, nor are they reasons for us not to love our country.
A truly friendly country, like ours, does not interfere with other countries and does not allow other countries to interfere with us.
This is the so-called “let them be them, and let me be me,” which is the Great Benevolence of a country.
Look at those brothers guarding peace on the border; aren’t they all children of parents like you and me? Don’t they all wish for a stable and happy life?
Our ability to live and cultivate well now is entirely due to these guardians silently giving back.
Some even paid with their lives to protect this peace!
The vast Huaxia, its beautiful mountains and rivers, were all protected by their drops of blood and sweat.
Yes, you could also say that once you have money, you can go anywhere in the world, or have whatever kind of life.
But when you were still weak, you cannot deny that it was the ancestors who, with their flesh and blood and steel bodies, established a strong fortress, allowing you to grow up stably.
You say you have studied many cultures, your cognition is outstanding, and your grades are high; without this protection, would you be no different from those children who have lost their homes and are displaced?
Without this protection, how could you guard the beauty in your heart amidst hunger and suffering?
The Great Righteousness of cultivators is sometimes not truly self-perceived as sacrificing the small for the great.
It is truly about sacrificing one’s own smallness for the greatness of the many.
If you don’t even protect the peace of your parents and family, who do you think you can protect?
Just protect this heart that you consider unique?
All things are one body, and hearts are interconnected.
If that were truly the case, it would only be deceiving oneself to preserve one’s own selfishness.
The enlightenment of a cultivator should be to not fear birth, nor fear death, but to live when it is time to live, and die when it is time to die.
Heroic spirit covers the world, and righteousness reaches the heavens.
The spirit needs heaven-piercing, earth-penetrating energy to possess the ability to change heaven and earth.
If it is for oneself, it is all selfishness; if it is for all sentient beings, it is all Great Righteousness.
Great Righteousness never dies; heroic souls are eternal.
If you think I am just rambling, then you can conduct an experiment to verify what I say.
You can try going to a mass grave at midnight to see the panic in your heart, and then go to the Martyrs’ Park to feel that peace of mind.
You will understand how powerful this Great Righteousness and its energy are.
You might feel a trace of fear towards the place where your family buries their ancestors, but you will absolutely not feel afraid towards the resting place of heroic martyrs.
Do you see this energy? It permeates through the ages, never dissipating! The heart of Great Righteousness can transcend time!
No matter when or where you are, if you feel fear, please take a bouquet of flowers and visit the Martyrs’ Cemetery; it is the place with the most positive energy in the world!
You need to know who stands behind you; they are countless individuals who bravely fought enemies with great swords, solely for your current stability.
They are the ones who paid with their lives for your stability! They are Huaxia’s ancestors who died in your place so that you could live!
Their sole common purpose is to protect the descendants of Huaxia and this hard-won peace.
Are you proud? Do you feel how powerful the force behind you is?
He says he has immortals behind him, he says he has ghosts behind him, he says how powerful he is.
Let him see who stands behind you!
Will you still be afraid?
Behind you stand heroic souls! Behind you stands Great Righteousness!
It is the most powerful and selfless energy in heaven and earth!
We cultivators must continue this energy and pass it down!
Valiantly and confidently crossing the Yalu River, protecting peace and defending the motherland is protecting our homes!
Protecting peace and defending the motherland is guarding the light in our hearts!
