An Unorthodox Cultivation Insight – Chapter 23

Do You Not Want To Be A Ghost Anymore?

Chapter 23: Do You Not Want To Be A Ghost Anymore?

Because I cultivated Buddhism on my own and achieved enlightenment. I did not learn by following any master. Therefore, in my understanding, there is no divine protection.

All that exists is “May the decree be as swift as law!” Don’t let that ghost escape! Or sometimes, Amitabha, gods, get out of the way, let me go first.

What terror, what fear, are all there to help me achieve.

Encountering a ghost is just the ghost helping me practice how to catch ghosts.

Encountering a god is just the god helping me cultivate energy.

I use whatever I encounter, there is no distinction.

I’m not saying that the various teachers who talk about cultivation are bad, there are good ones, but you have to know how to listen.

Many are also using stories as metaphors, which is also called convenient speech.

In the final analysis, the key to the problem still lies in one’s own heart.

Otherwise?

This one tells you worshiping gods is useful, that one tells you ghosts are haunting you and you need to burn money.

Damn it, speaking of which, ordinary people don’t even have enough money to spend, who the hell are we burning money for? It’s good enough that we don’t rob them!

We say robbing people is definitely not okay, this goes against rules, against the law, we must be good citizens who abide by the law.

But robbing ghosts and gods, no one will care about that, right? Since the law doesn’t say I can’t rob ghosts of their money, then it’s permissible, right?

Damn it, the first thing I do when I see a ghost is slap it a couple of times, and ask if it knows me! If it knows me, don’t move! If it doesn’t know me, I’ll make sure it knows me today!

Heaven and Earth Without Limit, All phenomena return to One, I command all things, demons and gods be subdued, May the decree be as swift as law! Go to your mother!

“Slap slap slap slap slap slap slap!” First, I’ll give it a good beating.

Those who read my books and practice with me, remember this! Don’t be good citizens of the immortal cultivation world! Be bandits and robbers of the immortal cultivation world, and after robbing them, benefit the mortal world.

Sound the charge for me, let’s beat them up first, and then rob them.

Ghosts’ money is a good thing, it can get things done in the underworld.

Speaking of which, I, a mere rogue of the immortal cultivation world, can still be bullied by you guys?

Damn it, this mortal world is not a place for you to act wild, you don’t stay obediently in the underworld, and you dare to come up and cause trouble?

Then I’ll tell you what a bandit leader in the immortal cultivation world is.

If you don’t give me money, you still want to show off in front of me, I think you don’t want to be a ghost anymore, do you? Huh? Damn it!

If you give me money, then I’ll have money, and then you absolutely can’t show off in front of me!

Otherwise, I’ll slap you to death!

Haven’t you heard? Which ghost do I encounter that I don’t bully?

If I don’t bully you, wouldn’t my cultivation be in vain?

Besides! Who told you to come in front of me and talk nonsense?

I founded the Sword Immortal lineage, and my primary focus is to slay demons with the sword of intention. If I don’t deal with you, who will?

Righteousness and evil have always been irreconcilable. It’s impossible for me to burn money for you, unless you kowtow to me a thousand eight hundred times first, then I might consider burning ten yuan of paper for you, but! I can’t guarantee I won’t rob you after burning the money! You weigh it yourself!

Cultivating immortality is going against the heavens, snatching the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. Ghosts are also a form of spiritual energy, also called ghost energy.

It’s good enough that I don’t eat ghosts, cough cough cough. What’s wrong with robbing ghosts of some money?

Others might cultivate immortality to become immortals and attain the Dao! I don’t!

I cultivate immortality for the purpose of robbing ghosts and gods, and stealing from immortals.

Hahaha, the main thing is to do as one pleases, and do whatever one wants.

If I encounter a ghost, I’ll immediately use the “Divine Soldier, Swift as Law” and give it a few slaps to taste, then I’ll use the sword of intention to strike it a couple of times.

But remember, don’t dare to hit the ghosts of your elders who communicate with you in dreams! Burn paper as you should, this is called filial piety. And those from your own family are not called ghosts, they are called ancestors, ancestors are equivalent to ancestral immortals. Hahaha, ( but if they are bad with you and bully you, you should still fight them! Understand the social graces of the immortal cultivation world clearly! )

Even inner demons must be honest with me, if they don’t let me sharpen my sword, they won’t be able to leave. Speaking of which, they used to cause trouble in my heart all the time, and I didn’t even charge them rent, and they dare to come? If caught, they get a severe beating.

When inner demons come to ordinary people, it’s annoying, it’s painful. My inner demons dare not come, if they come, I’ll deal with them, I’ll objectify them in my heart, a small whip dipped in chili water, and give them a lesson first, then poke them with the sword of intention, let them know who’s in charge.

What kind of distracting thoughts and troubles, eliminate them all, understand?

You are the master of your own mind, and you can let them bully you?

They make you annoyed, so you are annoyed? They make you suffer, so you suffer? You don’t beat them?

We say you can’t beat others, but you don’t discipline your own unruly thoughts?

If you see any woman having evil thoughts, beat the evil thoughts first!

If you remember any pain, first ask it who made you think of it? If you didn’t let it think, and it thinks on its own, then beat it.

What is “when the heart dies, the Dao is born”? First, kill all the distracting thoughts in your heart that cause you pain and trouble, then you will have the Dao.

If you suffer because of a thought that arises in your heart, then eliminate that thought.

If you fear something because you think of it, then eliminate that thought as well!

If you eliminate it, you become a god. If you keep eliminating it, it won’t dare to come and make you suffer.

Your thoughts are your bad habits, and bad habits are all about bullying the weak and fearing the strong.

If you are strong, they are weak; if you are weak, they are strong.

Only by eliminating these disturbing and distracting thoughts can you become your true self.

If you don’t believe me, look at those rich people, they lack nothing, right? Yet they also have a lot of troubles and pain.

It’s because they are also bothered by these messy distracting thoughts.

If you can avoid being disturbed by your own thoughts, then you will have surpassed 99.999% of the people in this world.

In this world, there are too few people who can truly be called human, or who can live as their true selves.

Because their minds are obscured.

Guānzìzài, Guānzìzài, one must first be able to observe and illuminate the freedom within their own heart before they can become their true selves.

So many disturbances, such great disturbances, today’s wine cannot resolve yesterday’s sorrow, and today’s sorrow does not need tomorrow’s wine.

Observing oneself in the present moment, liberating one’s inner heart from the disturbances of thought, is the best cultivation for being human.

Otherwise, the bitter stories of today will still cause you heartache in the future.

Only by learning to save oneself can one escape the sea of suffering.

It is better to teach a man to fish than to give him a fish. If my explanations cannot help you escape the sea of suffering, then read them again and comprehend them slowly.

When you are bored, you can study what the Heart Sutra or the Altar Sutra are talking about.

Don’t listen to those fools telling you to read this sutra, listen to that sutra, and even copy them.

Those are the level of fools, lackeys. Those who truly understand the Dharma, when explaining the scriptures and reasoning, will not just tell you to copy this or memorize that, without telling you what is actually being said.

Just remember one point, all scriptures speak of one thing, they all revolve around describing the patterns and states of the soul.

For example, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, when practicing deeply in Prajna Paramita, perceived the Five Aggregates are Empty, and delivered from all suffering.

Guānzìzài, perceived, the Five Aggregates are Empty, delivered from all suffering.

Which freedom is being observed? What is the meaning of perceiving? What does it mean for the Five Aggregates to be Empty? How is all suffering delivered?
