An Unorthodox Cultivation Insight – Chapter 39

My Heart Aches

Chapter 39: My Heart Aches

At 7:30 PM on August 18th, seven suns appeared in the sky above Chengdu.

Some said it was a light refraction phenomenon, some speculated it might be parallel dimensions, and even more declared that Hou Yi was coming back.

Cough cough cough, I am that even more extreme one, hahaha.

Actually, for me personally, I feel that parallel dimensions have a higher probability.

Just like a mirage, we also consider it a refraction phenomenon.

But if you actually go out into the world to find places matching the scene in the sky, some you can find, and some you absolutely cannot.

Where did those ones that can’t be found refract from?

Is there a possibility that they are from other dimensions?

Just like many scholars believe that this world only has space and no time, and that time is merely something invented by people to record things.

How can you be sure that the you from ten years ago isn’t in ten years ago?

And how can you be sure that the you from ten years later isn’t in ten years later?

Let’s hypothesize that the you from ten years ago, the you from ten years later, and the current you all exist simultaneously.

Then, if certain past or future scenes appear in the sky, it’s due to distorted space-time projecting them, doesn’t that sound reasonable?

Could those seven suns possibly be projections from seven dimensions?

Back then, when space-time was distorted and nine suns appeared together, a young man discovered this problem, then found a way to restore the space-time distortion, so the other eight suns disappeared, leaving only the one from this dimension.

Someone recorded this process and called it Hou Yi shooting the suns, hahaha.

Sometimes, people truly need to dare to imagine, just like before airplanes were invented, people wished for a pair of wings.

Often, many impossible things begin with daring to think and daring to act.

Sometimes when I meditate, I occasionally enter a realm, this realm is similar to a dream, but equally real.

Who’s to say this realm isn’t truly existing in another dimension?

Just as through cultivation, people can break free from the restraints of the physical body, allowing consciousness to roam the Great Void, capable of reaching the highest heavens to capture the moon and diving into the deepest seas to catch turtles, and in realms, one can learn many things not learned in reality.

Is it possible that this is learning across dimensions and planes?

I have even tried calculating math problems in dreams, and other tests, and I have also dreamed of myself writing.

It’s just that things I actively test, I can remember, but many things passively fade after waking from a dream.

Perhaps I should cultivate well; if I can bring things from the realm into reality, then I would be a god.

Throughout history, many people have done similar things. Some have solved scientific problems in their dreams and recorded them upon waking.

Some people learn from individuals in a realm while meditating and apply it to real life.

I haven’t pursued this ability, so in life, I can constantly perceive every thought that arises in my heart.

To be honest, I only have a few thoughts a day now. If I were to say I have achieved unity between my true self and my external thinking self, I wouldn’t dare to boast so shamelessly. Based on my perception, I might be about eighty percent unified.

In my opinion, if one were completely unified, they wouldn’t need to actively think; everything would be done based on accumulated instinct or primary intuition from the past.

Today, my friend who is a spirit medium told me that his mind is always wandering with distracting thoughts, causing him distress and confusion.

I taught him the method and usage of transforming thought into sword.

This is essentially a method of one thought overcoming ten thousand thoughts, concentrating thoughts onto a single point to break through the surface.

I don’t take disciples; I teach them spontaneously as fate allows. I hope that when someone needs me, I can help them, and that is enough.

Here, I want to clarify one point again: no matter what you believe in, if you can’t even control your own thoughts, then you must learn methods to control them. Because only by subduing one’s thoughts can a person become their true self.

Otherwise, every time your mind wanders, or you habitually think about something, that is actually not you.

Or rather, that is you being controlled by thoughts, and you being obscured by thoughts.

Sometimes, when people hear or see things, they need to calm down and use their heart to look and listen to truly understand.

To understand based on past interpretations, to believe what you think or what you heard from someone else, is the behavior of a fool.

If you believe your mind rather than having your own unique understanding, then you are a pawn being controlled by others.

Changing your destiny is actually so simple that you wouldn’t believe it. Just remember one thing: everyone will die, so don’t live in the eyes of others or in the mouths of others.

Let go of all troubles, pressures, and anxieties, and do something that you would greatly regret not doing by the time you die.

Persevere for a few years, or more than ten years, it’s up to you, as long as you believe that if you haven’t done it by your deathbed, you will regret it.

Don’t wait, don’t always tell yourself you’ll find time later. When your realm isn’t high enough, you won’t even know how much time you have left.

Just do it first. For any matter, it’s done while thinking, thinking alone is useless.

You see others achieving success, that’s because while you were lost in rambling thoughts and fantasies, they had already started working diligently.

You only see their success, but you didn’t see any of their suffering or perseverance.

Take Mr. Guo’s success as an example; you only heard about how difficult and hard it was for him back then, but you haven’t experienced it yourself.

And now, when you look back, you can only see the glory after his success.

Without those years of perseverance when even eating was difficult, where would today’s peace and prosperity be?

A person’s success, whether it relies on effort or talent, is inseparable from perseverance.

For someone talented in painting, if they don’t paint, their talent is like great feces; it disappears with a flick of the butt.

For someone who works hard at dancing, if they occasionally slack off, then their so-called effort is like farting.

Although any success requires conditions like timing and location, if you haven’t even taken the first step.

I can only say, dreams are truly a wonderful thing.

Don’t think that what I’m saying is simple; am I not also persevering?

When I first started writing, I fantasized that one day I could earn an income from writing and stop working for others.

Later, I realized I had thought too simply. Writing has its patterns; writing blindly won’t create your own unique style and is unlikely to shine.

I also considered giving up, but then I thought, if I don’t write a truly amazing book, I will be unwilling to rest until I die.

But then again, without innate talent for writing, what good is unwillingness? Wouldn’t you say?

Then I refuse to accept it. If I don’t have talent, I’ll forcibly increase my talent. I read and listen all the time, I write every day, I just don’t believe or accept it.

Of course, there were times in between when I truly didn’t know what to do and stopped to think for a long time, but I absolutely never considered giving up.

As my cultivation realm gets higher and higher, my focus shifted from earning a living through writing.

It became that if I don’t write a book that can help people after reading it, then my cultivation is in vain. What’s the point of money? By the time I die, money is just a dick! If I don’t write what I want to write before I die, no amount of money will make me content.

Everyone will die, sooner or later. I’m not afraid of death. I’m only afraid of only finding pleasure and freedom for myself while everyone else is still trapped in suffering and unable to extricate themselves; seeing that pains me.
