Chapter 40: What’s There To Fear About Chicken Feathers?
Many people have described the scenes before they were close to death.
Some say people see departed loved ones before they die.
Some say they will see a road, and then walk along the road.
Some say they will review their entire life and see the right and wrong they experienced.
Etc.
However, being close to death is not truly dying, just as everyone’s dreams are different, so what they see is different.
Those people in a vegetative state who woke up after more than ten years also said it was like a dream.
Therefore, unless a person truly dies, they can never truly know what it is like after death.
Don’t think that living well is always talking about death, this topic is not good.
The Buddhist School has a method called transcending life and death, what does it mean to transcend life and death?
It means knowing what life is and what death is.
If one does not talk about life and death, can one not die? If one talks about life and death, can one not die?
You cannot change the final outcome, it is all destined, so why are you afraid of chicken feathers?
Only by understanding this point can you change your state of living and change your way of living.
Afraid of living, afraid of dying, afraid of this, afraid of that, scared to death, almost can’t live, and still f***ing afraid?
I f***ing! Are you a big idiot? Huh? Will you not die if you are afraid? Will you succeed if you are afraid? Will you not live if you are afraid?
The more you are afraid, the more you must act! When you are used to being afraid, you won’t be afraid anymore! No one is born brave.
When I was a teenager, I was afraid to go out to pee at night in the countryside, even at the doorway.
Once my dog barked at a certain place, and I even saw a ghost.
At that time, I thought I saw it wrong, that my eyes were playing tricks on me. No matter how I looked, the ghost was still there, so I got scared and ran back inside. My mom and the neighbors, the old women, went to look, and they didn’t see anything. Even the old man next door was working in the yard and didn’t see anyone.
I am very sure that I saw it, I saw a man smiling at me.
If you let him appear in front of me again now, try it? F***, if I don’t catch him and put him in hot pot, I’m being too nice to him!
Damn it, they scared me because I was young back then. Now I can instantly change my thoughts, I can mobilize any emotion instantly, and I have already programmed myself to get angry instantly when startled. If I don’t beat you until your face is covered in peach blossoms, then I’m your father!
If you are a ghost, what is so special about you? I am God! Dare to provoke me, and I will chase you to the eighteen layers of hell and still bite off two ounces of your flesh!
If I don’t have this bit of spirit, then I don’t need to cultivate immortality!
My kindness is for ordinary people, my kindness is not for demons and monsters! As the saying goes, if I don’t deal with you, who will? I am born to bully demons and monsters!
I am born to eat ghosts for cultivation! If I were afraid of ghosts, wouldn’t that be going against heaven?
I might be slow at writing books, but when it comes to cultivating immortality, I don’t care who else is doing it!
Those old immortals and great gods behind them are so awesome! I myself am awesome! Don’t ask why, just ask because it has been like this for lifetimes!
I’ve been awesome since I was little, I can’t change it, this is my original nature!
Before I grew up, I might have been a little afraid. I have woken up after thirty years.
I don’t care who it is! No one is f***ing useful! If I’m in a good mood, I’ll keep a low profile. If I’m in a bad mood, I don’t care how many dishes are on your table, I’ll flip them all over! If you don’t let me eat? Then no one eats!
Hahaha, you must have this kind of temperament to be suitable for cultivation, without this temperament, cultivating is a waste of effort.
If I’m afraid of ten steps after taking just one, then what am I even doing? I’ll fight until death, until my primordial spirit is destroyed and we both perish.
Back then, some people always said my temperament was not good and I would suffer losses. This kind of personality that would rather break than bend is prone to suffering!
Nonsense! I would rather break than bend, but I have never been unruly, shameful, or unreasonable. If I am wrong, I admit it. If I am not wrong, even the Heavenly Emperor is useless!
Besides, I am straightforward in my dealings with people. If I argue with someone, it’s a personal matter. If they don’t understand something at work, I will still help.
I distinguish clearly and do not use my public position for private gain.
Often when I show this demeanor, I am doing very well. Letting things go and not arguing makes people look down on me.
What does this show? It shows that people are inherently “cheap.” If you are fierce, they are afraid of you; if you are weak, they bully you.
If you can keep your mind absolutely straight and do not intentionally cause harm, you are a good person.
Wanting to be a good person doesn’t mean letting everything go and tolerating everything, but rather being more wicked towards wicked people and kinder towards kind people. This is the principle of being human.
Of course, this is just the principle of being human, hahaha.
What a cultivator needs to do is to have an unmoving heart and manifest their appearance according to the actual situation.
How does that saying go? Burn incense for Buddha, draw a gun when meeting a thief.
Without Vajra means, don’t talk about a Bodhisattva’s heart.
What is a Bodhisattva’s heart? It means I can crush you to death, but I choose not to.
Otherwise? Without means, without ability, do you try to convince yourself that this is kindness?
This is called incompetence, okay? If you can’t even distinguish between kindness and incompetence, then who will be bullied if not you?
Don’t just talk about people, even non-humans will pick on you, not for any other reason than that you are easy to bully.
Kindness is having the ability to shatter the sky, but choosing not to.
Not being stepped on by this person and that person, not daring to resist, and thinking it’s your own kindness.
If you’re afraid of people, we won’t say anything, but are you even afraid of those who aren’t people? Are you crazy or is someone else crazy?
If you are this cowardly, get lost immediately. You definitely cannot read this book, you are not worthy!
If you finish reading my book and are still like a pathetic grandson, then I have written it in vain!
The purpose of my writing this book is to let you know that you have the ability to control your thoughts at will.
Then you will have invincible spirit.
If you are cultivating immortality and even ghosts are afraid of you, what kind of immortality are you cultivating? If you are cultivating immortality and even people are afraid of you, what kind of immortality are you cultivating?
After breaking illusions, you can see the patterns of human hearts, so what are you afraid of?
If you can control your own thoughts and make them behave, with just a single change of thought, where would your fear come from?
Your fear definitely comes from what you are thinking that makes you afraid, what else could it be?
You say ghosts scare people, you say ghosts harm people, did people tell you, did ghosts tell you?
Aren’t those all told by people? You believe others but not yourself, are you a f***ing idiot?
What they tell you is just what they think, and it has nothing to do with you!
What I tell you is the truth! The truth is a powerful principle that can strengthen you!
I cannot tell you that there are no gods in this world! I can only tell you that you can also become a god!
You are God!
You are the most awesome god in your own life! Because you decide that you are afraid, then you are afraid, and you decide that you are not afraid, then you are not afraid of anything!
If this is not being God, what more do you want to be God? Wake up!!!
