Chapter 47: Oh? Four Brothers!
Su Huan looked at Old Er, who had a dangerous expression, sweat beading on his forehead. “Old Da, at a time like this, where’s any official train? It’s just a gang of bandits who hijacked the train relying on their strong firepower. That’s bad enough, but they also force us ordinary passengers to go out every day to find food for them…”
“How many of you are there?” Old Er asked again.
“Over seven hundred.”
“How many of them?”
“Six or seven, I think…”
The three widened their eyes. “Six or seven people scared hundreds of you?”
Su Huan said helplessly, “Several big brothers, those are all fierce bandits. We’re just ordinary little folks; we’ve never seen anything like that. You didn’t see it—an old brother had his wife and daughter taken away. He just cursed a couple times and was beaten to death on the spot.”
“His daughter was even a researcher, so pretty, with that slim waist, and his wife was so obedient and soft…”
“Why talk so much crap? It’s like you touched them.”
Seeing Su Huan describe it vividly, Old San relaxed a bit and said disdainfully.
Old Er cursed angrily, “These people are too much!”
Su Huan went along with it, scolding, “They’re simply beasts! If we don’t bring back supplies, he beats us, doesn’t give us food, and makes us work for him for nothing!”
The three exchanged glances. Old Er pointed his gun at Su Huan while the other two turned around.
As the two turned, they revealed the handguns at their waists.
Su Huan narrowed his eyes.
[Enforcer S1 Tactical Handgun]
Semi-automatic handgun, uses 9mm handgun bullets, magazine capacity 15 rounds.
He might not recognize other guns, but he had the exact same model of this handgun.
It was just that he had tossed it on the train because it had no bullets.
It seemed the person from his previous life hadn’t lied to him—there really was a batch of Enforcer equipment on the fire truck, and quite a lot of it.
Old Da said in a low voice, “I think this kid is telling the truth. Should we let him go?”
Old San said irritably, “Nonsense, we’ve already caught him—how can we let him go?”
Old Da asked puzzledly, “Then what do you mean?”
Old San touched his chin and said gravely, “Since they can drive the train away, why can’t we? And with so many people on the train, there must be more supplies than here.”
“You know how to drive a train?”
“What nonsense—we three grew up together; don’t you know if I can drive a train? But since they drove it away, obviously there’s a driver on the train.”
“I say we follow him back, take down that gang—only six or seven people anyway. We three brothers have guns; once we do it, we drive the train straight out of Mo Jiang.”
Old Da hesitated a bit. “What about this fire truck? We went to so much trouble.”
“Are you dumb? The fire truck can’t be eaten or drunk, and with so many cars on the road, who knows if it can even get out!”
“Anyway, you’re the smartest of us three brothers, so we’ll listen to you!”
Old Da gritted his teeth and said.
Su Huan glanced out the window; some scattered zombies were already approaching. Feeling a bit impatient inside, he kindly reminded them, “Several big brothers, my car is still outside—it’s pretty good. Do you want to bring it over?”
Several people looked at him. Old San frowned. “Be honest, don’t play tricks with me. Tell me the situation on the train in detail. Old Da, you two go get his car—maybe we’ll need it.”
Soon, only Old San was left in the carriage.
Su Huan breathed a sigh of relief in his heart—obviously, they had preliminarily trusted him.
Old San started asking for details, and Su Huan spun him a tale that’s seven parts true and three parts false. After all, no one knew the situation on the entire armored train better than him. Mixed in were panicked rants about the apocalypse, with snot and tears as he scolded the train conductor’s exploitation.
One incident after another, all from personal experience.
After scolding the train conductor, he talked about his feelings.
Though he wasn’t panicking much now, he had panicked in his previous life.
Betrayed by others, brothers scattered, all sorts of human tragedies poured from his mouth.
And because he had seen it with his own eyes, his tearful complaints were genuine.
Even Old San started feeling a bit sorry for him later.
Though he hadn’t suffered as much as Su Huan, they had both experienced the apocalypse—fellow sufferers empathize more with Su Huan’s little apocalypse stories.
When Old Da and Old Er climbed aboard, drenched in sweat, they saw Old San lighting a cigarette for Su Huan while patting his shoulder and sighing, “Don’t say more, brother gets it. Isn’t it just one woman? As long as I have a bite to eat in the future, you’ll have a bite too. Us four brothers working together can definitely survive well in this damn world!”
Seeing his dumbfounded big brother and second brother, Old San got irritable again. “What’s wrong with you two? Call him Fourth Brother!”
Old Da and Old Er: “?”
Su Huan wiped the tears from his face, went up and grabbed their hands, calling sincerely, “Little big brother, little second brother!”
Though the two were full of question marks, they didn’t have time to correct him and said anxiously, “Never mind that—zombies are coming outside!”
“Zombies are coming?”
Old San jolted in shock, wiped the few drops of booze from his face, and hurriedly looked out the window. He saw more and more zombies encircling them.
Among them were no lack of Tier 1 evolved zombies, especially that over two-meter butcher who stood out the most!
Obviously drawn over by Su Huan’s high-speed driving all the way.
It was just because they were too slow that they gathered into a zombie tide behind.
Su Huan immediately jumped up and said, “Little big brother, little second brother, hurry to the other two vehicles. I’ll lead the way for you—let’s rush out quick!”
Old San reacted too, tossed the firearm in his hand to Su Huan, and shouted immediately, “Right, hurry go. I’ll drive this one. Old Four, cover me—bullets are in a crate in the back!”
The few, hearts pounding, followed Su Huan’s plan and started acting.
Su Huan touched the metal gun body of the assault rifle, his heart buzzing with delight.
No kidding, he was starting to like these three brothers.
He opened the magazine and saw a full forty 7.62 bullets, but different from handgun bullets—the bullet heads were coated in green-silver paint, who knows what for.
But that didn’t matter; a couple shots would tell.
“Old Four, stop researching—where do we go?!”
Old San shouted hurriedly.
Su Huan racked the gun with a click, excitedly saying, “Just charge straight ahead—I’ll tell you when to turn!”
Old San gritted his teeth. “Nonsense, it might not crash through!”
“Don’t worry, these sedans are only a few tons. The fire truck’s over ten tons, and the front is reinforced— just crash!”
“Alright! Crash the damn thing!”
The fire truck started up, engine roaring, and directly rammed into the sedan ahead.
Relying on its own weight and powerful horsepower, it shoved the sedan to the side.
But the huge noise stirred the zombie tide; zombies started surrounding from all directions.
The mad corpse roars shook them to the core.
“Roar—”
Several familiar mad dogs charged over from the rooftops.
Su Huan opened the window and pulled the gun bolt.
His mouth curved up madly. “Let me see who’s the luckiest!”
