“We want to know what kind of god the Son of Cronus—Zeus—is. Is He truly worthy of trust and entrustment? Is He the same kind of god as Cronus? Is His essence also as cruel and ruthless as Cronus’s?”

“You are my closest friends, and Great Zeus—I watched Him grow up from childhood and witnessed everything about Him with my own eyes. But He is also my sovereign!”
His voice became impassioned and full of power: “I swear on my divinity, I have never seen a god as great as Him!”
“Though He is the Son of Cronus, He is even more the son of Loving-kindness Goddess Queen Rhea!”
“He is completely different from God King Cronus. He inherited Rhea Mother Goddess’s mercy and goodness! I watched Him grow up from childhood. From childhood, He has been a gentle and merciful god, optimistic and cheerful, affectionate and close to loved ones, tenacious and resilient, never giving up easily!”
“He never wields His authority arbitrarily, never humiliates or shows contempt for the gods, never makes vain promises, and never harms innocent living beings!”
“He respects the gods, treats the gods with humility, is merciful and generous, broad-minded and just. His character is the most radiant and warm light!”
Melisseus’s voice grew increasingly high-pitched, filled with undisguised worship and reverence: “He is powerful yet wise, brave and decisive yet cautious, diligent and resilient yet steadfast in responsibility. He is the perfect leader!”
“In the face of the terrifying war with God King Cronus, He always charges ahead, resisting the God King; in the face of unfavorable battle situations, He always covers the rear and blocks, fighting for vitality for the gods!”
“No matter what happens, as long as He is there, the gods can bravely face it, because He is the source of courage; as long as He is there, the gods are forever filled with hope, because He is hope itself!”
“I firmly believe that He will overthrow the corrupt and cruel God King! He will become the Lord of the Universe! He will bring the universe its brightest future!”
“Great Zeus is the most shining hope! He is the universe’s sole future!”
The giants never imagined that Melisseus’s evaluation of Zeus would be so high—practically fanatical—with worship and loyalty completely unreserved.
But their hearts truly breathed a deep sigh of relief. Maintaining the disguise all along had not been easy.
Melisseus had watched Him grow up from childhood. Since Melisseus, the god who knew Zeus best, acknowledged Him so much, it meant He was indeed worthy of entrustment, worth them betting their future on.
Brontes finally asked seriously: “Melisseus, do you think that the Son of Cronus is truly a god worth entrusting our future to?”
Melisseus suddenly smiled, his smile filled with absolute trust and determination: “I have long entrusted everything of mine—my destiny and future—to Him, without reservation.”
“Zeus is the sole future! He will lead everything toward light and goodness!”
Upon hearing this, Briareus smiled in relief, exhaling a long breath. His voice carried complete liberation and resolve as he slowly said, “Then, we too shall entrust everything to this sole future and walk toward the reborn future together with Him!”
Melisseus said solemnly: “My dear friends, Zeus never disappoints His friends, because He is hope itself! He will bring you all the goodness you desire!”
The giants had no other thoughts left. All doubts had vanished like smoke. They made a decisive choice without the slightest hesitation and came directly together to pay homage to Zeus.
The majestic and vast giants—their divine bodies were incomparably tall and burly. Even Zeus’s majestic divine body seemed so small before them.
But now, their incomparably huge divine bodies directly half-kneeled before Zeus, and those noble and huge heads lowered.
Like the most magnificent mountains bowing and lowering their heads to a mortal, they expressed the highest respect and submission to Zeus.
