Chapter 25: The Grand Show Begins!
After Zeus had made all preparations, he immediately went quietly to meet Mother Goddess Rhea and secretly told her the detailed plan in a private meeting.
Upon hearing this, Rhea’s delicate face turned pale with shock.
She firmly opposed Zeus taking such a risk and hoped to find a safer way, but under Zeus’s insistence, she could only agree with thousands of apprehensions.
Immediately after, Zeus asked Rhea to watch over him as he personally tried the “fine wine” meticulously prepared by Metis.
He said it was trust in Metis, but in reality, how could he feel at ease without trying it personally?
This was drugging the God King! There was only one chance!
Moreover, it was the most crucial step. If he could not weaken the God King and turn the invincible God King into one who could be defeated, there would truly be no opportunity.
Also, if he did not try it personally and experience the specific effects of the drug firsthand, how could he precisely determine and perfectly grasp that fleeting opportunity?
A rehearsal had to be conducted first! A completely realistic, no-fail full simulation drugging rehearsal!
After making preparations, Rhea used her extremely powerful authority to begin restricting the “movement” and vitality of Zeus’s divine body, gradually dulling his senses, quietly dissipating his power, and even making the operation of laws become obscure.
Without hesitation, Zeus resolutely drank a sip of that deep and mysterious “fine wine”.
After the test, he felt greatly reassured in his heart, and Mother Goddess Rhea was also much more at ease.
The action began.
Rhea asked Goddess of Night to use her endless Dark Night and profound Silence to provide root concealment for Zeus, making him disguise as a minor god from the Mortal World.
Then he was arranged to serve as an attendant inside God King Cronus’s Divine Palace.
God King Cronus did not care about such a trivial matter, let alone pay attention to a small attendant.
His eyes held the entire universe; how could he notice such a minor god?
As Goddess Queen, Rhea still had the power to assign attendants, and no one would question it.
This was Zeus’s first time seeing his nominal “Father God”.
From his divine form, the God King fully lived up to his reputation as Lord of the Universe and King of the Gods.
His majestic aura was completely inherited from him.
This God King’s entity was truly flawless in every sense, the most perfect union of laws and flesh.
After all, he was the incarnation of numerous top laws. As King of the Gods, he naturally spared no cost, using the universe’s most refined Origin to construct this divine body.
Every inch of muscle, every bone, every drop of blood contained infinite might and emanated immortal Radiance.
Moreover, aside from the six Giants, he was the first god among the pure Law Deities to possess a physical entity, a cosmic miracle created by Mother of All Gaia with her utmost effort and energy.
Possessing power sufficient for Heaven and Earth Separation.
And this was only back then.
After becoming God King, over these long years, he went all out to continuously optimize his divine body, improving day by day.
Now, the God King’s entity was truly, in every aspect, absolutely perfect and impeccable—a divine body with truly infinite power.
His appearance was also extremely majestic and heroic, his majestic divine body containing infinite power.
Mount Othrys was already infinitely tall and towering, but before this God King, Zeus had no doubt that Second Generation God King Cronus could effortlessly shatter this majestic Divine Mountain reaching tens of millions of miles, crushing it to powder and Dust, as easily as flipping his palm.
After all, he was a Primal Great God of Heaven and Earth Separation. Over countless years, no one doubted his power, and no one could shake him.
So many Primal Great Gods, no matter how much Dissatisfaction and Unwillingness they harbored, still had to bow their heads and submit before this supreme God King, groveling subserviently.
However, once pure Law Deities gained physical bodies, they became easier to target.
Having a body allowed better enjoyment of the Material World’s abundance and beauty, tasting the world’s pleasures and Glory.
Yet at the same time, the body also became a breakthrough point, an unavoidable weakness.
What is gained comes with loss.
This was the inevitable Balance Law of the Universe, the Iron Rule of all things and All Spirits’ evolution, unchanging since ancient times.
Since coming to serve as an attendant by God King Cronus’s side, Zeus had always been low-key and humble, cautious in every way, quietly observing everything.
After a sufficiently long time, he finally gained a tiny sliver of the God King’s trust, becoming his personal attendant who poured wine for him.
Then Zeus discovered something that made him quite unhappy.
Oceanus’s “dutiful daughter” Philyra was actually having an affair with the God King!
One must know that Cronus had truly harmed Oceanus in the past; the entire Ocean God clan basically had cold relations with Cronus, merely maintaining face in public.
Oceanus and Tethys were famously good-tempered and always loving toward their Children.
Philyra was no nameless Nymph; she was a true god with laws and must be doted on by Ocean God.
But as Daughter of the Ocean who was doted on, Philyra was secretly having an affair with Cronus!
Going off to mix with the enemy—truly a dutiful daughter.
Oceanus’s face had been slapped swollen by this dutiful daughter.
However, Zeus was only slightly surprised for a moment and did not make a big fuss, after all, everyone was a descendant of Uranus, and this was not much.
The God King was already quite restrained; he had only a few Lovers, and they were generally kept hidden.
What truly dissatisfied Zeus was considering the face of his Mother Goddess Rhea.
A mere Ocean Fairy—what caliber? Having an affair with the God King was one thing, but daring to openly come to Mount Othrys, to this God King’s Divine Palace?!
Going to some place in the Mortal World would be fine, but she dared to sneak into the Divine Palace!
Truly audacious! This was open Contempt for the Goddess Queen’s Authority!
Did she not understand what an affair meant? An affair meant not going to the other’s home!
Zeus had already begun plotting to find an opportunity to give her a good Lesson, letting her know what rules and Awe meant.
Killing her directly would not be easy; after all, she was a Law God of sorts, and it would also offend Oceanus, not worth it.
But giving her a Lesson once was a must!
He had to give her a Lesson profound enough to remember for life, letting her know the price of Offense against the Goddess Queen!
In truth, Goddess Queen Rhea did not care about such a thing; her heart was like still water, undisturbed, and this minor matter could not ripple her heartlake in the slightest.
She had no Emotion left for the God King; if there was any, it was only Hatred remaining.
Although she had not moved away from Mount Othrys like the other Gods, she had also found another more secluded peak on Mount Othrys and built a new Divine Palace.
If the God King wanted Lovers, fine, as long as they did not appear before her.
This was actually a good thing, saving her the entanglement and the need to feign civility.
