Chapter 26: The Good Show Takes The Stage!
The God King’s lover naturally did not dare to appear before her eyes, and no god dared to disrespect her.
As the Goddess Queen, she did not rely solely on her husband’s authority; she herself was one of the twelve Primal Titans!
She had ample power and means!
Anyone who dared to offend her would be justly cast into Tartarus.
However, this minor interlude was not important. The most crucial matter was the grand scheme currently being planned, and the God King’s affair served as an excellent breakthrough point.
Finally, the opportunity arrived.
Zeus had long since understood all of the God King’s habits. After returning from his dalliances, he often enjoyed a drink.
He would relax his already joyful mind with sweet honey wine, causing his spirit to loosen considerably, becoming lazy and negligent of his defenses.
Or rather, the God King had long since lost his sense of caution.
And this was the perfect opportunity.
Zeus continuously uttered flattering words, his tongue as eloquent as a silvered reed, each sentence pouring into Cronus’s ears like honey.
He coaxed Cronus into drinking incessantly until he was mildly intoxicated, lost in the comfort of ecstasy and the indulgence of his senses.
Meanwhile, on Mount Othrys, on another peak, the Mother Goddess Rhea also intently watched everything that was happening.
Upon receiving the signal from Zeus, she took a deep breath, her inner tension surpassing even that of when she had schemed to overthrow the Heavenly Father Uranus, yet she did not flinch.
Her subsequent actions were without the slightest hesitation. She exercised her great authority with all her might, maximally slowing the operation of all elements and laws around Cronus, causing the entire universe to slow down around him, almost falling into absolute stagnation.
Until almost all laws were halted and solidified, the unsuspecting God King’s connection to the world had been reduced to a minimum.
Even the vitality and operation of the God King’s divine power and laws had been reduced to their extreme, becoming sluggish and weak.
The God King, just refreshed from the pleasure of his affair, was currently lost in the slight intoxication of honey wine, a satisfied smile on his lips, his gaze hazy, completely unaware of any abnormality around him.
His power was too great, his divine body too strong, so the God King minimized the intensity of his physical form when enjoying the honey wine.
Otherwise, even the nectar reserved for celestial gods would not have provided him with any pleasure.
Of course, one must get drunk when drinking! One must enjoy that dizzy, half-awake, slightly tipsy feeling.
That moment of fleeting transcendence and haze, that wondrous sensation at the intersection of divinity and mortality, was something the God King, without exception, also favored. It was a rare pleasure for him, a moment of self-anesthetizing tranquility.
Anyway, for the God King, even if he were drunk, it would only take a thought to regain his senses.
He didn’t believe anything would happen.
In the current universe, who dared to resist the God King?
Who dared to oppose me?
Who could oppose me?
When the powerful Second Generation God King Cronus, once again under Zeus’s subservient service, drank the honey wine, which was now essentially a fundamentally different “fine wine.”
In this single instant, the universe held its breath, all things froze, only the wheels of destiny accelerated.
Zeus—made his move decisively!
When gestating Zeus, the Mother Goddess Rhea did not simply obey Cronus’s will, nor did she solely weave the authority that encroached upon the sky.
She harbored a more profound scheme in her heart.
Towards her sole hope, her only salvation, her infant child who carried all her love and hate, and her hopes for the future, she poured all her efforts into creating laws for him.
She not only used the God King’s power to encroach upon the authority of the sky but also actively targeted the God King, aiming for the “Harvest” law that the Mother of All Gaia had bestowed upon him for the separation of heaven and earth!
The Mother Goddess Rhea secretly and profoundly eroded and transformed the God King’s fundamental laws.
And at this very moment, the Mother of All Things Gaia, the Mother of Night Nyx, and the Supreme Goddess Queen Rhea, their scheme that spanned eons, quietly made its move.
The only thing that puzzled the Mother Goddess Rhea was that the process was even smoother than imagined. The Heavenly Father Uranus showed absolutely no reaction to his authority being encroached upon, allowing Rhea to take whatever she pleased.
Not only was the concept of “Sky” created, similar to the sky dome, but Uranus’s implicit authority of “Dominion” was also woven in.
Additionally, there were extremely abstract but undeniably potent concepts that the Mother Goddess Rhea could clearly feel—”Future” and “Hope.”
And then there was the law Rhea most anticipated, the core law related to harvest—”Severance.”
The severance that divides all.
The severance that would save the children devoured by the God King.
The severance that would reshape destiny.
And the supreme authority of this severance now displayed its unparalleled power.
Even the God King, after countless years, was now, in this moment of spiritual consciousness and laws disconnecting from the world, completely shattered by Zeus’s severance, his painstaking efforts of countless years reduced to naught in an instant.
All his dignity and power, his invincible countenance, were cleaved apart by the arrogance of his negligent oversight.
His solidified order was torn asunder along with him, becoming the old order.
In his carelessness and arrogance, he rapidly lost almost everything.
The first to be severed was the primitive laws of abundance and flourishing.
These were laws Gaia sent to Rhea to deceive Cronus, to mask Zeus.
Nominally, these two laws were Zeus. These laws possessed no spirituality, so Zeus unceremoniously accepted them with a smile.
Next was Poseidon, who had been devoured recently, the “Ocean Earth-shaker.”
He was the Incarnation of “Ocean,” “Sea,” and “Earthquake.”
At this moment, on his severed body, the aura of sea tides and the tremors of the earth simultaneously appeared, heralding his return.
Zeus not only severed the laws but also separated the original spirituality, as well as the power of the God King’s divine body that had been absorbed and grown within Cronus.
The severed Gods were inherently complete deities, possessing spirituality, consciousness, laws, and physical bodies.
And they were extremely powerful because they had learned the use and development of laws perfectly from the God King, along with some of the God King’s almost infinite strength.
When Zeus was severing the third, an unexpected event caused his heart to tremble violently, followed by intense ecstasy.
Immediately, he made a decisive cut, hardening his heart and hand. His divinity fluctuated violently, and his powerful aura instantly weakened significantly.
He manifested from Chaos and the Void, carrying the depth and desolation of darkness, his eyes glinting with deep radiance.
He was the Supreme Great God who wielded darkness, gloom, obscurity, dimness, and shadows.
“Gloom,” “Hades,” appeared.
