Chapter 8: Titan

Heavenly Father Uranus was indeed extremely creative and invented a processing method that could be called perfect.
However, this method was truly too cruel.
For any sentient being, being imprisoned in endless darkness and void is infinite terror and torment, surpassing the limits of body and spirit.
Even, it would be better to completely lose self-consciousness; that would instead be supreme liberation.
However, if Lord of Spirituality Uranus is unwilling to take back this “bounty”—namely spiritual consciousness—then wanting to discard this “bounty” is also impossible.
Even the madmen of the mortal world have spirituality.
And the deities’ vast and immense spirituality makes it impossible for them to descend into madness; they can only endure this endless torment forever, soberly experiencing eternal pain.
In this endless Tartarus, there is no space, no light, no air, no breath, no voice; nothing at all, not even the flow of time can be felt.
Even companions right next to them cannot sense the slightest existence of the other, isolated by eternal void.
Apart from feeling that they are still alive and forever suffering this terrifying torment of endless dark void, they feel nothing and can do nothing.
They cannot even perceive their own actions and voice; only consciousness endures forever in the darkness. For this terrifying situation, losing all consciousness would be supreme bounty.
The three Hecatoncheires were unhesitatingly thrown by Uranus into this endless terrifying abyss, and incidentally innocently implicating the three Cyclops.
Uranus “considering Gaia,” felt that those three Cyclops staying underground was not appropriate and would make Gaia too uncomfortable.
Thus, he casually threw all six of their brothers into Tartarus.
Not caring at all that these were also his gestated children.
But Mother Goddess Gaia cared!
Uranus’s actions brought immense mental pain to the loving-kindness Mother Goddess, her heart as if torn apart alive.
Although her scheme had failed, she had extremely deep emotion for the children she had painstakingly gestated.
Having gained consciousness, she naturally knew how terrifying the torment of that endless abyss was.
And now, her six children, having committed no wrong, suffered such enormous misfortune and injustice; this filled Mother Goddess Gaia’s heart with pain and towering anger.
Mother Goddess Gaia’s most obedient “third son,” the majestic lord of Mountains, incarnation of the earth’s surface Ourea（Oρο/Ourea）.
He felt most deeply Mother Goddess’s pain and anger; his massive body was trembling.
He angrily protested to Heavenly Lord.
Then, lord of Mountains Ourea, just like the previous lord of Darkness Erebus, met the same fate.
Heavenly Father’s handling of Ourea had not even a moment’s hesitation.
Uranus’s all these cold-hearted, ruthless, arbitrary actions made his other twelve children extremely fearful.
Facing Uranus’s ruthlessness and absolute dictatorial control, the foundational laws of the universe trembled, not even daring to make any sound.
But when Uranus saw his children trembling under his absolute majesty, he actually felt immense pleasure and pride; his arrogant divinity was thereby satisfied.
Immediately, he gave these children a nickname full of contempt and mockery.
Titan（Titan, English: Titan; Ancient Greek: Τιτν; plural: Titans/Τιτνε; also translated as Titan）.
Original meaning “the tense ones,” “the trembling ones.”
This ruler of the entire universe, unparalleled Heavenly Father, at this moment was arrogant to the extreme, filled with absolute arrogance.
He would not imagine that after he was overthrown, the meaning of this nickname would undergo earth-shaking changes.
At that time, the meaning of this word would become—”giant,” “remarkable.”
This would be the supreme honorific for the victors, for those who overthrow absolute dictators and achieve great feats.
Uranus, this master of all spirituality, incarnation of the Sky Dome, forever so high above; nothing at all is taken into his eyes.
Apart from blindly obsessing over matter and the desire to control everything, he cared for nothing else.
Because he himself was Mother of Matter who swallowed Love and Desire, then birthed Spiritual Light from this Love and Desire.
Heavenly Lord’s endless greedy love and mad desire would only become the root of all living beings’ pain.
Mother Goddess Gaia had thoroughly realized that even uniting with Heaven, even borrowing Heaven’s essence, it was still impossible to gestate life that could defeat Heaven.
Therefore, she lost interest in uniting with Uranus, became extremely passive, no longer having her previous enthusiasm and cooperation.
Regarding this, Heavenly Father Uranus was extremely dissatisfied, but his arrogant divinity was helpless about it; after all, Mother Goddess Gaia had not directly refused him, merely passive in attitude.
Gaia was the only special one; Uranus would not casually annihilate and reshape Mother Goddess Gaia’s consciousness over this matter.
Time flowed silently yet unstoppable, bit by bit.
The powerful and arrogant to the limit Heavenly Father Uranus remained so unparalleled, acting arbitrarily.
His vast divine power enveloped the universe; all sentient beings still trembled under his tyranny, not daring to raise any objections.
But sentient beings will ultimately seek their own way to survive.
The most fundamental instinct of all life, even surpassing spirituality’s primal instinct, is the desire for a sense of security in survival.
The arrogant to the point of scorning all Ruler of the Universe had forgotten that even his own birth originated from “Existence”‘s most fundamental survival desire, that unwillingness to return to void’s primal impulse.
Perhaps, sentient beings can tolerate everything of their own being controlled under the other’s thought.
But they absolutely cannot tolerate this supreme power held in the hands of a capricious, moody deity.
Even if he is master of spirituality, god lord of the universe, supreme Heavenly Father.
This dictatorial oppression will ultimately ignite resistance.
Finally, loving-kindness Mother of All could no longer endure Heavenly Father’s endless rampant desires, no longer endure this arbitrary wantonness; the anger in her heart was about to erupt like magma.
And Lady of Night, who likewise hated Uranus to the extreme, keenly sensed Mother of All’s anger and unwillingness surging deep in her heart.
The two primordial mother goddesses, relying on their shared desire for survival and extreme hatred of oppression, instinctively learned unity and cooperation.
Their vast spiritual wisdom began weaving a giant net of counterattack.
A giant net enveloping Upper Heaven.
