I thought the new book must have collapsed somewhere, that some plot point was making people so disgusted, but it turned out to be all brainless attacks on “true qi,” claiming spiritual energy cannot be refined into true qi, that this is turning high-level energy into low-level energy.
Then there are those going on about how this is cultivation, not martial arts training!

Honestly, after just one sleep, I really am completely speechless.
Also, do not force Shu Shan Swordsman realms into some other cultivation system. They are not exactly the same. Their cultivation has four realms, immortals have four ranks and so on, and sometimes the realms are not clearly distinguished. They do not talk about tribulation, great vehicle period and such.
And the ascension they talk about is also different from ascension in traditional online novels. In their setting, only a heavenly immortal can ascend, though of course it is not absolute.
Also, after they ascend to the immortal realm, they can even come down to the lower world to travel. For example, the friend of True Person Red Staff, who has already joined the ranks of the immortals and often comes down to roam, and Dongting Jun, the water god of Jun Shan, and other such divine path beings.
Although Huanzhu Louzhu did not clearly define this worldview, it is roughly closer to the background of traditional Daoist Sect stories.
So, I have explained this once already. Later on, please stop using this “true qi is lower grade than spiritual energy” argument to torment me.
