Chapter 133: It Turns Out To Be A Black Hole
“What’s wrong?” Lin Xi asked curiously.
“Star Beasts are coming!” Shi Anfeng had already sensed it and immediately activated the Protective Shield, covering the three of them.
“Bang bang…”
The sound of huge Star Beasts running gradually approached, shaking the Ground so much that it trembled. The three held their breath and remained completely still.
In a short while, a large group of Star Beasts thundered past not far from them.
After a good while, the Star Beasts finally all left. Only then did the three exhale and walk out, looking in the direction the Star Beasts had gone, not knowing where these Star Beasts were heading.
“What are these Star Beasts going to do?” Lin Xi looked curiously at the distant dust billowing up.
Shi Anfeng frowned. “This isn’t Edge Star. For this group of Star Beasts to mobilize their entire nest, there must be a reason.”
Shi An’an kept her Spiritual Sense locked on this group of Star Beasts. But for now, they kept running in one direction, so she couldn’t yet determine what they were doing.
“So what do we do now… Chase after them to see what they’re doing? Or go back to the Place we came from?”
Shi Anfeng was silent for a moment before deciding, “Let’s still go check out the Place we came from and see if we can get back.”
“Okay!” Shi An’an continued leading the two onward.
Soon, the three arrived at the Place where they had come out that night.
They saw that it was a huge Cave, and the Transmit spot that had brought them out was inside the Cave.
At this time, the area around the Cave was full of messy Star Beast footprints.
“It looks like those Star Beasts all came out from here.”
The three carefully observed their surroundings and slowly walked inside.
They saw a black vortex right in the center of the Cave.
“Holy crap! It’s really a Black Hole!!!” Lin Xi said in shock.
Shi Anfeng walked near the vortex and looked at this Black Hole. “Humans have been in Interstellar space for so many years, yet we’ve never known that Black Holes could exist on a Planet, let alone traverse Space-time. How exactly did these Star Beasts create these Black Holes?
Could it be that every Star Beast tide comes out from these Black Holes? Then why do they do this?”
“Are these Star Beasts this powerful? They can even create Black Holes that traverse Space-time? We’ve only researched out Passageways for jumping through Space-time in recent years, and even those are completely unstable…” Lin Xi exclaimed in amazement as he reached out to touch the Black Hole.
“Don’t move!” Shi Anfeng pulled Lin Xi back and glared at him.
Lin Xi touched his nose. “I’m just curious.”
Shi An’an looked at the Black Hole the two were talking about, sensing the power on it. There was a very mysterious power, and also a familiar pressure, just like that roaring Star Beast from before.
That mysterious Star Beast was extremely powerful. With her current Cultivation Level, she definitely couldn’t beat it. If she reached Deity Transformation Stage, maybe she could contend with it.
“I’ll go in and check! If it’s no good, I’ll come back!” Shi An’an said.
“No!”
“No!”
Shi Anfeng and Lin Xi objected first.
“Have you forgotten? Before, when we entered the Star Beast Nest, we came out here again. If you go in and then jump back in, it might not bring you back here.”
“Yeah, what if you end up somewhere else?”
Shi An’an looked at the two. “Then what do we do? If we don’t go in, how do we get back?”
Shi Anfeng looked at his Younger Sister, then at his good friend. “If we go in, all three of us go together!”
Lin Xi nodded in agreement. “Together! Worst case, if the situation is wrong, we keep jumping through the Black Hole! No matter where we’re Transmitted, as long as the three of us don’t separate!”
Shi An’an looked at the two’s determined gazes and could only nod in agreement. “Alright then, together.”
Shi An’an used Vines to tie the three of them together, to avoid getting separated in the middle.
After the three were ready, they exchanged a glance, then mustered their courage and decisively jumped in.
A sensation of weightlessness hit them, and at the same time they felt dizzy. Then they tumbled onto the Ground.
The three immediately opened their eyes and vigilantly looked around.
“We’re done for, it’s not the previous Place!” Lin Xi looked at the unfamiliar Place and said softly.
Shi An’an spread out her Spiritual Sense and found that this wasn’t the previous Edge Star; it was another unfamiliar Place, but…
“Something’s happening!” Shi An’an immediately flew toward the spot she had detected, bringing the two with her.
“What’s wrong? What happened?” Shi Anfeng quickly asked his Younger Sister.
Shi An’an’s tone carried excitement. “It seems like someone’s fighting Star Beasts. We can leave!”
She had just seen a group of Star Beasts attacking a tall Mecha.
This meant that this Place had humans, and they could leave.
“Really?” Lin Xi and the other were also excited.
“Let me check if there’s a signal?” Lin Xi urgently raised his hand, wanting to see if his Optical Computer could contact anyone, but at this moment he was being carried by An’an and flying in the air, so he couldn’t see for now.
“Wait a bit, check after we land.” Shi Anfeng shouted.
Soon, Shi An’an landed with the two. They landed on top of a huge Boulder. After landing, the three immediately crouched down on it and carefully watched ahead.
The Combat ahead was extremely intense.
“Why is there only one Mecha visible, no one else?” Lin Xi asked puzzledly. He raised his hand and opened his Optical Computer, discovering a faint signal.
“There’s a signal!” Lin Xi said excitedly.
Shi Anfeng and Shi An’an heard this and, too impatient to watch the Combat ahead, hurriedly opened their Optical Computers to report that they were safe to their families.
As soon as Shi An’an opened her Optical Computer, she saw a bunch of Messages come in, and many communications, with Uncle Liu’s being the most numerous.
She hurriedly sent a communication to Liu Qi, telling him that she was with Eldest Brother and Brother Lin, that they were currently safe, and not to worry.
At this time, Liu Qi was lying in the Fifth Legion’s Camp receiving Healing.
“I say, you, you, really, sigh!” Zhao Yaohu looked at Liu Qi’s weak appearance, angry and not knowing what to say.
Liu Qi lay powerlessly on the sickbed. He hadn’t expected the Poison Gas in that Abyss to be so potent.
This was already his fourth attempt to go down, but every time he went down, he couldn’t last long.
The deeper he went, the thicker the Poison Gas, and the gas mask was completely useless.
“If you go down one more time, you’re guaranteed to lose your life!” Zhao Yaohu didn’t know why Brother Liu was so obsessed with going down to Rescue People. Wasn’t it obvious the person was probably gone?
“I feel like An’an is just trapped. I promised her family to bring her back safely, and besides… you don’t know how important An’an is to the Federation!”
“No matter how important, you’re about to lose your life! It’s been two months, she hasn’t come back—two months! You…” Zhao Yaohu couldn’t continue.
Liu Qi frowned tightly. “Back then, I should have gone down with her.”
“…” Zhao Yaohu looked at Liu Qi helplessly. “Now, just recover your Body first, and then later…”
“Right, people from the Ninth Legion have arrived, not sure…”
When Liu Qi heard this, he struggled to get up. “It must be Shi Zhen Guang and them. I need to go see them!”
“Don’t move, don’t move!”
