Chapter 175: Taking A Disciple
Xiu looked suspiciously at Shi An’an’s back and followed her with lifted steps.
Wali looked at Shi An’an walking toward him, full of excitement, his eyes brightly fixed on Shi An’an.
“Do you want to have this ability?”
Shi An’an looked at Wali and asked.
Wali answered immediately without thinking, “Yes!”
“If you had this ability, what would you do?”
Hearing this question, Wali’s face darkened, “I want to kill everyone in that laboratory!
Save the people locked inside.”
“And then?”
Shi An’an stared intently at Wali and continued to ask, “Once your revenge is complete, what will you do next?”
“I still need to go back to Garbage Star!”
“Go back for what?”
“I want to rule Garbage Star. I want the people on Garbage Star to have warm houses, nutrient solution to drink, and not have to risk their lives picking garbage every day for a living, go hungry, or be casually beaten, scolded, and driven away…”
Wali’s expression was firm, “If I have these abilities, I want to earn a lot of star coins. I want to build a big house for orphans like me, let them live there, and send them to school…”
“I also want to heal their bodies, so they don’t have to endure illness all day because they have no money…”
“I also want to give them…”
Shi An’an listened to Wali’s nonstop words; these were all the wishes in his heart.
She was very relieved. It seemed Wali had not developed psychological problems from those torments; he was still kind-hearted.
Shi An’an glanced at Xiu and sent him a telepathic transmission.
“I want to teach Wali cultivation. His character is good; he hasn’t become extreme from his past experiences, and his heart is still kind.
His body has already been modified and can cultivate spiritual power, and his aptitude is very good, with top-grade golden spiritual root.”
Hearing Shi An’an’s words, Xiu stared at Wali, listening to his continued fantasizing about the future, watching the light sparkling in his eyes.
“Okay.”
Hearing Xiu’s agreement, Shi An’an smiled.
“Do you want to learn this ability from me?” Shi An’an spoke up, interrupting Wali.
Wali stared blankly at Shi An’an, hesitant and a bit timid, “I… can I learn?”
“Of course, as long as you want to.”
“I want to!” Wali said excitedly.
Shi An’an stood up and looked seriously at Wali, “If you want to learn, you need to take me as your master and call me Master.”
“Master!”
Wali called out immediately.
Shi An’an looked at Wali, “Do you know what a master is?”
Wali scratched his head; he had lived in garbage dumps since childhood and never went to school, so he didn’t know what a master was.
“I don’t know.”
Xiu watched Shi An’an patiently explaining, gentleness flashing in his eyes, then he looked coldly at the man on the ground who had woken up.
Fei’er stared straight at Xiu, opened his mouth, his voice hoarse, “Your Highness…”
Shi An’an immediately stopped and turned to look at the person lying on the ground; Yina and Wali also walked over.
Xiu looked at the person on the ground, confirming he had never seen him before, “Are you an Empire person?”
Fei’er nodded, “Yes, Your Highness. I am from planet D42 of the Empire Star; my name is Fei’er.”
Yina looked at Xiu, then at Fei’er, “How do you know him?”
Fei’er glanced at Yina; he had vaguely heard this voice while unconscious—it was her who saved him.
“Probably no Empire person doesn’t know him. He is our Empire’s Little Highness and also our God of War.”
Yina and Wali looked at Xiu in surprise; they didn’t expect his status to be so noble.
“Why are you in the Empire? Why were you captured by Federation people?” Xiu looked at Fei’er, pondering in his heart—could there be traitors in the Empire? Or did they plant spies there?
Fei’er recalled, “That night after overtime, I hurried home to rest and took a shortcut. It was relatively empty there, but few aircraft, so I didn’t worry about congestion.
But halfway through flying, my aircraft malfunctioned. For some reason, the signal was very weak there, and I couldn’t contact maintenance personnel.
I could only get out of the aircraft and walk home.
As I was walking, suddenly my foot stepped into emptiness, and I fell unconscious.
When I woke up, I found myself on a Federation planet. Before I could react, I was subdued by a group of people and injected with anesthetic…
When I woke up again, it was in a laboratory, then they made me transform into second form. I refused, so they cut open my body…”
Recalling the memory of those people cutting open his body, Fei’er trembled uncontrollably—it hurt too much!
Shi An’an took out a pot of mint and placed it beside Fei’er.
Smelling the mint fragrance, Fei’er’s eyes went straight to the pot of mint. Suddenly his eyes changed, and the next second, a chubby orange cat appeared before them.
Then the orange cat quickly ran to the mint, pressing its head against it and sniffing deeply.
Wali looked at the chubby orange cat, puzzled, “Why did those people make you transform into second form? You preferred to have your body cut rather than transform, but now you did it?”
Xiu: …
Shi An’an: …
Yina: …
Fei’er: Meow, what did you say? I didn’t hear!!!
Watching the orange cat circling around the mint, Shi An’an suddenly thought of something, her lips curving up as she quietly took out a seed.
Xiu noticed her action and looked at her puzzled.
“Shh.” Shi An’an raised a finger and shushed him.
Xiu looked at Shi An’an’s cute action, chuckling helplessly, his eyes full of affection.
Shi An’an threw the seed on the ground and began to accelerate growth.
Wali on the side curiously watched the seed on the ground, then saw with his own eyes it grow from a small seed into a green plant.
“Meow~~~”
Fei’er was circling the mint when suddenly he sniffed an enticing scent. He turned his head and saw a green plant.
With a “whoosh,” the orange cat dashed to the green plant.
“Meow~~ woo woo woo~~~ gurr gurr meow~~~”
The orange cat lay on the green plant as if drunk, obsessed, purring contentedly from its throat.
“What’s wrong with him?” Yina looked at the limp orange cat, asking worriedly.
Xiu looked helplessly at Shi An’an; she stuck out her tongue.
“I just wanted to test if all cats have no resistance to catnip. I didn’t expect…”
“Catnip?” Wali looked at the orange cat obsessively hugging the green plant, his eyes sparkling.
“Master, cats have no resistance to catnip?”
“Mm, indeed. Or rather, all felines have no resistance!” As she spoke, Shi An’an glanced sideways at Xiu nearby.
Xiu closed his eyes briefly, looking very helpless, “Do you think I’ll be like him too?”
