Chapter 63: Want to fill her gaze, and her body
Upon hearing the sound, Lian Li turned her head to look.
Meng Yi, a stunning beauty in a red dress, stood beside Wen Zhixing, her eyes filled with surprise as she looked at Lian Li.
Meng Yi rarely stayed in the dormitory; Lian Li hadn’t seen her in almost a year. After all, the campus was vast, and classes didn’t have fixed seating. Even students in the same major might not run into each other, let alone those who weren’t.
Lian Li’s lips curved slightly, a faint smile blooming: “Meng Yi.”
“You know each other, so there’s no need for introductions.” Zhong Yang said this, but still gave a brief introduction, “Lian Li, the sister of Young Master and me. Wen Zhixing and Meng Yi are an engaged couple.”
“Meng Yi and I were college roommates,” Lian Li explained.
Meng Yi nodded, implicitly agreeing with her statement.
Wen Zhixing, dressed in a grey three-piece suit, his amber eyes fixed on Lian Li’s face, appraised her before politely saying, “Zhong Yang often mentions you. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Lian Li extended her hand for a polite handshake: “Hello.”
“You play the cello?” Wen Zhixing suddenly asked.
“That’s amazing.” Zhong Yang raised an eyebrow. “You can tell Li Mei plays the cello just by shaking her hand.”
“No,” Wen Zhixing, having gathered from his words that he was correct, his stern face breaking into a smile, “The year before last, when I was in Hong Kong, I happened to see Miss Lian’s performance.”
“Speaking of which, Shi Yue was also at that concert.”
Two years ago, Lian Li, after going through multiple rounds of selection, had the opportunity to perform with a world-class piano master at the Cultural Center Concert Hall in Hong Kong.
Jin Yan Ting happened to be in Hong Kong on a business trip for two days and went to watch her performance.
Lian Li had seen Jin Yan Ting in the audience on stage. As for Jin Shi Yue… she hadn’t paid attention to whether he was there or not.
Later, after the performance, she attended a yacht party with Jin Yan Ting and saw Jin Shi Yue from afar.
At the time, she thought to herself, he had so much energy. It was rare for him to leave the Military Region for a short while, yet instead of resting, he came out to party. He was truly a wicked and unrestrained young master.
…Jin Shi Yue was also at the concert. Lian Li was quite surprised.
The party officially began. In the brilliantly colorful hall, the protagonists, Wen Zhixing and Meng Yi, were dancing the opening dance, the atmosphere lively and grand.
Lian Li scanned the surroundings, but couldn’t see Jin Shi Yue.
Was he not coming today?
She took out her mobile phone to send Jin Shi Yue a message, asking if he was at Dong Tan Yi Hao Mountain Villa and if so, she would return his jacket.
Xue Shufan came over and pulled Lian Li to eat. After filling her stomach, she dragged Lian Li to the dance floor.
After dancing one song, Lian Li said, “I’m a bit tired. I’m going to sit down and rest.”
“Go to the bar counter. The bartender is a handsome guy brought over from the clubhouse,” Xue Shufan pointed the way for her.
Lian Li smiled.
Xue Shufan wasn’t wrong. The bartender was indeed a handsome guy, over 1.85 meters tall. His bartending skills were superb, and his movements were fluid, a true visual feast.
She suddenly understood why Miss Chen Wei Qi was so fond of male celebrities from the entertainment industry. It was quite enjoyable.
Lian Li looked at the colorful cocktails placed in front of her, casually picked one, and began to sip it slowly.
After an unknown amount of time, Zhong Yang’s voice came from behind her: “Li Mei.”
Lian Li turned her head and saw several young masters sitting on the sofa not far away, slightly drunk, with alluring women leaning on their shoulders. Lian Li recognized one of the faces as a popular female model.
“Brother Zhong Yang.” Lian Li stood up, her vision slightly blurred. “I was just about to go back.”
Zhong Yang glanced at the drinks in front of her, some of which were as strong as rum. He beckoned a female waiter to escort Lian Li back to her room.
“Who’s that beauty?” a young master asked Zhong Yang, who had returned.
“A sister who’s closer than a biological sister,” Zhong Yang said, crossing his legs casually. “Don’t get any ideas, or Master Yue might kill you.”
“Hey, how can a sister be closer than a biological sister? What you’re saying is wrong!”
“Young Master Zhong must have had too much to drink, haha.”
“Where’s Master Yue? I saw his car drive into the mountain villa not long ago.”
“Young Master Zhong, go call him. Without him, my heart isn’t at ease.”
“You guys go call him. You know his temper, you want me to go to my death.” Zhong Yang said, “Dream on!”
Everyone burst into laughter, and the beauties also giggled.
Back in the room, Lian Li was feeling the effects of the alcohol, her head hazy. She unclasped her bra with one hand, freeing herself, and then lay down on the sofa, burying her face in a pillow.
She lay there for a moment, starting to feel sleepy. As she drifted into a daze, her phone suddenly chimed.
Lian Li fumbled around and found her phone. The Eldest Young Master had finally deigned to reply. Two very concise words: 「Come over」
Come over for what.
It took Lian Li a moment to realize that Jin Shi Yue meant for her to bring the clothes over to him.
So he was here. She hadn’t seen him, and thought he hadn’t come.
Would it cost him a hundred million to add one more word? Honestly.
Dong Tan Yi Hao Mountain Villa had a dedicated suite specially reserved for Jin Shi Yue. The surrounding environment was beautiful, tranquil, and comfortable, especially suitable for contemplating Zen Buddhism.
The East Wing Room, comparable to a presidential suite, Lian Li stood at the door and knocked three times, then three more times. There was no response.
She opened WeChat and sent Jin Shi Yue a message: 「It seems like no one is in your room. Can I leave the clothes by the door?」
As soon as she sent the message, Lian Li gently pushed the door, and it opened.
Just as she suspected she was drunk and hallucinating, a reply came: 「The door isn’t locked」
Lian Li assumed Jin Shi Yue wasn’t there and decided to go in, put down the clothes, and leave.
The moment she stepped inside, the smell of alcohol hit her. The further she walked, the stronger the clear, cold scent of alcohol became.
The alcohol scent wafted into Lian Li’s nostrils, stirring the dormant alcohol molecules within her body, making her head feel a bit dizzy.
Walking into the living room, the table was covered with two opened bottles of whiskey and glasses filled with liquor.
Jin Shi Yue leaned back on the sofa, his expression indifferent and listless, as if he lacked interest.
The Adam’s apple exposed by his tilted head was sharply defined, making him appear both lazy and alluring.
“Brother Shi Yue.”
Lian Li placed the custom-made jacket in her hand flat on the sofa next to Jin Shi Yue. “I’ve put the clothes here.”
He didn’t respond.
Lian Li: “I’m going back. Goodbye.”
As she finished speaking, Jin Shi Yue lifted his eyelids, grabbed her wrist, and with a subtle pull, yanked her.
Lian Li, caught off guard, fell onto his lap. She looked up in surprise, and Jin Shi Yue happened to lower his head, his nose brushing against her hair.
“Let me see the injury,” he said.
Before Lian Li could react, Jin Shi Yue’s well-defined fingers clasped her chin, and he carefully examined her forehead.
The man’s handsome face suddenly loomed closer, only a few centimeters away from Lian Li.
His breath lightly brushed against Lian Li’s lips, causing a burning itch, and she unconsciously pursed her lips.
“Who did you kowtow to?” Jin Shi Yue looked at Lian Li’s forehead, his tone casual, “Such a big mark.”
Receiving no reply, Jin Shi Yue’s gaze shifted downwards, landing on her beautiful eyes.
Lian Li’s eyes were almond-shaped, slightly round, with bright, clear pupils. They looked pure and harmless, making her seem approachable, like a sweet girl.
However, the corners of her eyes were slightly upturned. When she met someone’s gaze, her eyes held a tangible quality, like sharp arrows piercing the heart.
Jin Shi Yue gazed at Lian Li, his eyes deep, full of aggression, carrying extremely dangerous signals.
He wanted to capture all of her gaze, and every inch of her skin.
The air was filled with a faint floral mist, and the ambiguity grew exponentially. Lian Li looked at the man before her, and a hidden string in her heart seemed to be plucked.
The citrus scent on her mixed with the strong smell of alcohol. Jin Shi Yue leaned closer to her neck, sniffed, and asked in a slightly hoarse voice, “Have you been drinking?”
His hot breath slipped down her collar, landing on her skin like a flame.
Lian Li suddenly startled, regaining a sliver of clarity, and immediately sprang up from him. Jin Shi Yue was quick, hooking his arm around her slender waist and pulling her back.
“What, am I a hedgehog? Did I prick you?”
The violent movement of rising and falling made Lian Li’s heart leap. Her recently regained reason scattered. Her eyes, shimmering with emotion, stared unblinkingly at the black eyes just inches away.
Jin Shi Yue stared into Lian Li’s eyes, meeting her gaze.
After a moment, he slightly tilted his head to avoid their noses, and his thin lips moved closer.
They pressed onto Lian Li’s lips.
