Everyone has different preferences; that’s normal.
But we must allow different genres and styles to exist.

Some readers think the protagonist has low style… indeed, the protagonist is just a bumpkin who grew up in a walled city, never seen much of the world from childhood to now, with a very narrow horizon, and no grand ideas.
From the start, he was thinking of making a fortune, buying luxury cars and luxury houses, and marrying a female celebrity.
People always grow, and once their vision broadens, they’ll think more and want more.
