Chapter 89: Unexpected Plea For Help (part 1)
“Skipgate!”*2
Hearing the report from his subordinate pirate, Burufaruto and Ember almost simultaneously said this name.
“Yes, yes, yes! That’s the name.”
That pirate nodded.
“What’s going on? Didn’t you say he was dead?” Ember looked at Burufaruto in confusion.
“Yeah! I saw that guy sink into the sea with my own eyes. Logically, as an ability user, he shouldn’t have survived…”
“No one clearly went into the water to save him at the time! Could it be a ghost?”
Burufaruto also found it somewhat hard to believe.
“Why worry about so much? Let’s go out and see, and we’ll know.”
Kaido walked out of the hall carelessly, following that pirate toward the dock.
Seeing this, Ember and Burufaruto quickly followed.
“Sister La, Sister La, let’s go too. I haven’t seen a ghost yet~”
Seeing the boring meeting finally end, Aoxi quickly thought to go watch the excitement.
“I’ll come too.”
Obei also stood up, seemingly not wanting to stay here any longer.

“Damn, it’s really Skipgate! How exactly did that guy survive?!”
Arriving at the dock, Burufaruto saw from afar several clearly damaged pirate ships anchored not far from the shore.
On the prow of one of the ships stood a man with an explosive head.
“Let them come over.”
Kaido also knew Skipgate, and seeing nothing unusual, he allowed them to dock.
The several pirate ships swayed unsteadily and difficultly stopped at the dock.
Before the anchor could even be dropped, Skipgate jumped off the ship with over a dozen people.
Seeing this, Burufaruto immediately rushed over.
“Haha, how did you survive, you guy…”
Bang!
Bang bang…!
Before Burufaruto could finish speaking, Skipgate suddenly knelt down and heavily kowtowed his head on the ground!
The people behind him also followed Skipgate, kowtowing until their heads bled.
“Please, Lord Kaido, avenge my boss!”
Skipgate kept his head low, solemnly and earnestly pleading, his voice choked with sobs.
And the pirates behind him also pleaded together.

Time rewinds to after Skipgate fell into the water—
Near Fenrir Island, several clearly damaged pirate ships drifted aimlessly on the sea surface. They were the fleet that had accompanied Foll to Hachinosu Island for support.
“Damn it, where have we been blown to? It’s been a whole day and we still haven’t found our bearings!”
A pirate on the ship punched the mast hard, and this already Piroro Piroro Da pirate ship let out another creak of lament.

The man called captain lit a cigarette and asked if the pirate he had sent to check the damage had returned.
“Not yet. Third bro is on the other ship right now; the damage there seems pretty bad.”
That pirate pointed to a ship not far away that was already somewhat shaky and on the verge of collapse.
“Then wait for him to come back first.”
And while the group continued to wait idly, someone suddenly shouted:
“Look, over there! That seems to be Fenrir Island! We’ve been blown back.”
The pirates on the ship all looked in the direction he pointed, and sure enough, they saw the iconic wolf-shaped volcano of Fenrir Island on the distant sea surface.
“It really is! Captain!”
The pirate who had just punched the mast saw the familiar island and immediately turned back to the lead captain.
“Mm~ At this point, we can only head back to the island first and then figure out how to contact Boss Foll.”
“Use flag signals to tell the other two ships to follow.” The lead pirate also quickly made the decision.
“We can also go back to get an eternal pose to Hachinosu Island and head straight there. Boss Foll might be there.”
A pirate added.
The lead pirate nodded, then shouted to the helmsman who was already in position.

The helmsman immediately went to adjust the course upon hearing this, but before he could touch the ship’s wheel, a dark brown-skinned big man climbed up over the ship’s railing tied to a rope.

“Never mind that! Captain, look who this is!”
As soon as the brown big man got on board, he pulled on the rope tied to him, dragging a humanoid creature onto the ship as well.
That humanoid creature was tall, with an explosive head on top, though it was no longer fluffy from being soaked in water.
But the lead pirate recognized at a glance who it was.
“Damn! Brother Skipgate! How did he end up like this?!”
“I… you… where did you find him?”
Seeing that iconic explosive head, the lead pirate couldn’t help but cry out, and his speech became a bit incoherent.
“In the sea not far away.”
“I was on the other ship about to head back when I saw something moving in the sea. Looking closely, it turned out a dolphin was carrying Brother Skipgate.”
Dolphins have a habit of pushing drowning people to the sea surface, supposedly mistaking them for baby dolphins that can’t breathe air yet. Skipgate thus picked up a life.
“Quick! Third Child! Quick, artificial respiration!”
The squad leader saw that Skipgate still had breath and immediately started emergency measures without delay.
“Ah? Me… me? Okay, okay.”
The brown pirate, seeing the urgency, didn’t hesitate and immediately opened his mouth.
And so, under several rounds of artificial respiration, Skipgate finally picked up a life.
