Chapter 11: Moral High Ground
Seeing Xiao Wu’s appearance, Dan Heng, March 7th, and Xing’s eyes all became somewhat strange.
“What’s up with that girl? I think I saw a rabbit’s phantasm.” March 7th whispered.
“I saw it too, how did she do that? I want it too.” Xing was a bit envious; if only she could turn the rabbit into something else, it would surely look cool!
“Maybe she has a special bloodline.” Dan Heng guessed.
“That woman is a hundred thousand year soul beast in humanoid form, and that phantasm is her original form.” Meng Huaifeng looked at her curiously for a couple of glances and explained.
“Monster?” March 7th said.
“Somewhat like it, but not the same thing.” Meng Huaifeng said.
Perhaps the four’s gazes were too direct, making Xiao Wu feel uneasy. Why were they looking at her with such eyes? Had they discovered something? Impossible, they were so young, how could they be Titled Douluo.
Xiao Wu looked to Zhao Wuji for help: “Teacher Zhao, please check on Third Brother’s injuries, you must avenge Third Brother.”
Zhao Wuji knew that Tang San’s father was Haotian Douluo Tang Hao, and Tang Hao was likely hiding nearby, so he was happy to stand up for Tang San and let Tang Hao owe him a favor.
“Flander Boss, what good is talking to these little brats? They dared to cause trouble at Shrek Academy, take them down first.”
Flander frowned slightly; he didn’t want to continue the conflict and wanted to let the matter rest. Not daring to stir trouble is mediocrity. Although he was the one who proposed it, he was also very clear about who could be provoked and who couldn’t.
“These young people are not simple, with considerable strength and unknown background.”
“Not simple? How not simple can they be? As not simple as a Titled Douluo? Vigorous Vajra Bear, possess!” Zhao Wuji strode boldly toward Meng Huaifeng and the other three, activating martial spirit possession as he walked.
Zhao Wuji’s short and fat body instantly became burly, with seven soul rings rising similarly.
“The martial spirits in this world are kinda interesting, but these soul rings are so ugly, can’t they be hidden?” March 7th looked at the colorful rings on her body with slight disdain.
“Seems like they can be hidden after becoming a god.” Meng Huaifeng continued whispering with March 7th.
“Ah? Aeon?” March 7th widened her eyes.
“The gods in this world are at most equivalent to advanced Pathfinders.” Meng Huaifeng was speechless; the young girl was pretty, but her brain wasn’t too sharp.
Aeon, could they scam that?
“Then it’s acceptable.” March 7th awkwardly scratched her head, not knowing if these outsiders could have martial spirits.
Although Flander was somewhat wary, he didn’t think he and Zhao Wuji couldn’t take down these young people.
Hearing Zhao Wuji mention Titled Douluo, he knew he was referring to Tang San’s father, Haotian Douluo Tang Hao.
With Tang San injured and him, the dean, taking no action, it would be hard to explain to Haotian Douluo.
Since Zhao Wuji wanted to make a move, then let’s make a move.
“I’ll give you a chance, surrender without a fight, to avoid broken bones. Rest assured, we won’t harm your lives.” Flander said to the four.
“Must it be this way? You should know the fault isn’t ours.” Dan Heng tried to avoid conflict.
“For injuring our people, you must pay the price.” Zhao Wuji said domineeringly.
“We already showed mercy.” Dan Heng said helplessly; the last time he met someone so unreasonable was last time.
“Less nonsense, take this, Gravity Squeeze!” Zhao Wuji’s fifth soul ring lit up, enormous pressure pressing toward the four from all directions.
Except for Meng Huaifeng who swayed a bit due to lack of experience, the other three basically had no reaction.
“Leave this dumb bear to me.” Xing pulled out her baseball bat and charged at Zhao Wuji.
“Daring to clash head-on with me? So arrogant! Vigorous Vajra Palm!” Zhao Wuji grinned ferociously and activated his soul skill, slapping toward Xing.
“Teacher Zhao, go easy, she’s so pretty, don’t accidentally kill her.” Ma Hongjun said somewhat heartbrokenly and indistinctly.
“Rules are meant to be broken!”
“Boom!”
The baseball bat and bear palm collided; Xing didn’t budge at all, while the tall and burly-looking Zhao Wuji was sent flying like a bowling ball.
“Thud.”
Zhao Wuji smashed heavily in front of the Shrek Academy students, his arm bent at a weird angle.
At the same time, March 7th also launched an attack on Flander.
“Ice Carving Arrow Rain Time! Taste this young lady’s power!”
March 7th directly unleashed her ultimate move, swiping her small hand on her thigh, loading seven or eight ice arrows at once and shooting them at Flander in the air.
Shooting out along with the ice arrows were all sorts of messy ice sculptures made by March 7th with Six Phases Ice, including one of Pamu, raining down on Flander.
Nowhere to dodge!
Flander could only do his utmost to avoid the ice arrows that looked lethally powerful, letting some ice sculptures smash onto him.
Ice spread from the spots where Flander was hit; even using soul power to block it, he couldn’t delay it at all, and in an instant, his whole body was frozen into ice!
“Crack.”
The frozen-into-ice Flander fell straight to the ground.
In the hands of the two girls, two Soul Sages couldn’t withstand even one move, utterly powerless!
The two girls’ strength in this world could rival gods; using a second move against a mere little Soul Sage would be a joke.
“How is that possible!?”
Everyone at Shrek Academy was instantly dumbfounded, in disbelief, suspecting they were dreaming.
Ma Hongjun was completely stunned; he had just teased a beauty as usual, how did he provoke such powerful beings?
If you’re so powerful, say it earlier, why be so good-tempered?
Teasing such a powerful big shot, it would be his own fault if she slapped him dead; now he had even implicated the dean and vice dean.
“Bang!”
Tang San walked in front of Xing, blocking Zhao Wuji behind him, and heavily knelt on the ground.
“Seniors, this is all my fault, I let the fatty speak rudely and stood up for him without distinguishing right and wrong; all the blame is on me alone, kill me if you must, please spare the two deans and the others.”
The others were silently speechless; Shrek Academy’s strongest were Flander and Zhao Wuji, these two Soul Sages, and they both went down in one face-off—what could the others do?
They could only look at Tang San with moved and indignation.
What a good child, righteous and loyal, willing to die himself to save their lives.
Tang San’s words also snapped the dumbfounded Ma Hongjun out of it, instantly getting fired up.
“Slap slap slap~”
Ma Hongjun fiercely slapped himself a few times, then slid on his knees to kneel beside Tang San.
“Lords, sorry, I was wrong, it has nothing to do with Little San, kill me if you must, it has nothing to do with the others.” Ma Hongjun solidly kowtowed on the ground.
“Huh? Why does it make us seem like the villains?” March 7th scratched her head, utterly puzzled.
It could only be said that Tang San was too good at seizing the moral high ground.
