Chapter 86: Confession
Yin Lingyan was stunned. Seeing the television already playing, she shook her head, truly high technology.
Suddenly, a scene of a couple breaking up appeared on the television. The girl looked at the boy’s retreating back with tears streaming down her face. As the boy turned the corner, a more beautiful girl was waiting there. Was this what they called… falling out of love?
Yin Lingyan glanced at Han Wuyu. They had just started, and she was already afraid of the ending.
Han Wuyu sensed the change in Yin Lingyan’s emotions and noticed that the small hands busy on his shoulder had stopped. He looked at her with doubt, murmuring softly, “Hmm?”
Han Wuyu saw that Yin Lingyan’s gaze was entirely focused on the crying girl on the television and understood why her emotions had changed.
“This television is fake. What’s so good about it?” Han Wuyu pretended to put down what he was holding, took the remote control, and lowered the television. Soon, the television disappeared.
Yin Lingyan snapped back to reality and continued to carefully apply ointment to his bruises, then said as if by accident, “Do you think this face will be ruined like this?”
“And so?” Han Wuyu snorted lightly.
Yin Lingyan paused on his face for a moment. “Then no one will like you anymore.” She added silently, *You’ll be mine.*
Han Wuyu was taken aback. He hadn’t expected her to say that. This was the first time he had seen such a straightforward Yin Lingyan.
“Even if I’m not disfigured, I’ll only like you,” Han Wuyu gently tapped her nose and smiled dotingly.
Yin Lingyan’s face flushed as she carefully applied the ointment. For the first time, Yin Lingyan realized that a man’s skin could be so good, and his lips were so alluring, and his…
*Snap*, Yin Lingyan, stop it, stop it! When did you become so lustful? Still, he’s really handsome. Thinking this, she couldn’t help but swallow. All of Yin Lingyan’s inner thoughts were displayed on her face. Han Wuyu watched her with amusement, her eyes darting around, wondering what scheme she was hatching now.
“Are you being seduced by me?” Han Wuyu leaned close to her ear, his warm breath spraying onto her earlobe as he spoke.
Yin Lingyan snapped out of her fantasy. Hearing Han Wuyu’s… narcissistic words, she was truly speechless. She had seen narcissistic people before, but never one so narcissistic.
“Dream on!” Yin Lingyan pushed him, successfully creating distance between them, then grabbed the medicine box and fled.
Han Wuyu smiled and stood up from the sofa. He glanced at her hurried retreating back and smiled helplessly.
The sky was almost completely dark. Yin Lingyan looked at the weather with distress. As winter approached, the sky darkened quickly and the cold was bone-chilling. After Han Wuyu put on his clothes and came over, he saw Yin Lingyan with a dejected expression.
Yin Lingyan heard footsteps and naturally knew who it was. Her crestfallen expression made Han Wuyu chuckle.
“Stay tonight,” Yin Lingyan’s eyes widened immediately upon hearing this. She turned to look at the man smiling schemingly.
“Han Wuyu, you did this on purpose, didn’t you?” She looked up and saw Han Wuyu’s smile, her anger rising. She knew he wouldn’t have taken a beating for nothing; he had planned it all. And yet, she had fallen into his trap like a little white rabbit.
Han Wuyu saw that Yin Lingyan had finally come to her senses and knew that she was actually quite intelligent. What he liked most was her designs, how novel and unique they were.
However, in front of him, all her cleverness was just petty cleverness. He smiled and took her hand, leading her to the window. Seeing that Han Wuyu didn’t answer, Yin Lingyan pouted and let go of his hand in dissatisfaction.
Just then, his mature voice, clear as a spring, came, “Not too stupid.”
