This arrogant and domineering woman was Ji Weiwei. After studying abroad and pursuing further education for four years, she hadn’t returned to the country. Upon her return, she caused such a stir among all the employees.
Ji Weiwei grabbed Athena’s hand and menacingly asked, “How long are you going to keep pretending?”
Athena had not been weak all these years. To be threatened like this without reacting would truly be a waste of her life. “I’ll state this one last time, I don’t know you. Miss, you’ve mistaken me for someone else. Besides, this hotel isn’t yours, so you don’t need to get physical with an employee!”
After speaking, she unexpectedly flung Ji Weiwei’s hand away and looked at her coldly.
Ji Weiwei found it amusing. She crossed her arms, took off the large sunglasses perched on her face, and with her heavily made-up eyes fluttering, said contemptuously, “Oh, you’re still as eloquent as ever!!!”

By the time Ji Weiwei reacted, the elevator doors had already closed. Ji Weiwei stood inside the elevator, looking at the closed tempered glass doors in disbelief.

All her questions would be answered once she saw Ji Xiangyu. She strode to the fifteenth floor in her ten-centimeter red high heels, walking with a seductive gait. After announcing herself at the door, she entered Ji Xiangyu’s office.
Along the way, she encountered several employees. Each employee couldn’t help but sigh, marveling at how alluring this woman was. What could she possibly want with the General Manager???
Ji Weiwei’s slender and long fingers gently turned the door handle and she peeked her head inside. She saw Ji Xiangyu diligently working on documents at his desk, so she cautiously walked in, afraid of making even the slightest sound.
When she was halfway across the room, a voice echoed from within, “If you’re done making a fuss, sit there and wait for me to finish before we have a proper chat!”
Ji Weiwei’s trick was seen through, so she dejectedly looked at Ji Xiangyu and complained, “Brother Yu, why haven’t you improved at all after all these years? You only know how to bully me!”
“Brother Yu, I brought you lots of gifts. Do you want to see them now?!”
Ji Xiangyu didn’t look up. Ji Weiwei continued on her own, “Brother Yu, I just met Qing Tian. She was wearing a ring!”
Finally, this statement had an effect. Ji Xiangyu looked up in surprise at Ji Weiwei and asked, “Mhm, and then?!”
Ji Weiwei pouted unhappily, “Is it only when that woman’s name is mentioned that you pay attention? Brother Yu, you’re still the same after all these years. You can’t let go of that woman. She betrayed you and left with Brother Xia five years ago, haven’t you forgotten?”
Ji Xiangyu knew that everything Ji Weiwei was saying wasn’t true. At least, he didn’t yet know why Qing Tian and Xia Yang had suddenly gone abroad back then, but he was certain that Qing Tian hadn’t betrayed him, nor had she stopped liking him!
However, it would take some time to sort all of this out!
A cold voice reached Ji Weiwei’s ears, “Weiwei, I don’t think it’s wise for the first thing we do after not seeing each other for years to be discussing old matters!!!”
Ji Weiwei lazily sat on the sofa and said to herself, “Got it. You go ahead and work. I’ll wait here for you to finish!!”
Meanwhile, Athena rushed to find Andrei, but his office was empty. She went out and asked the secretary, “Where is the General Manager?”
The secretary smiled sweetly, “The General Manager and the Chief Assistant have gone out. Do you have any urgent matters to discuss with the General Manager, Chief Assistant?”
So Andrei and Bruce had gone out. “Where did they go, and when will they be back?”
The secretary shook her head. Athena had no choice but to go find Ji Xiangyu. She waited for the elevator, but through the elevator doors, she saw a man in black, wearing a baseball cap, following Situ Haonan. It looked like they were heading to the VIP suites. She pressed the down button for the elevator, but the elevator was being disobedient and didn’t come down.
She had no choice but to leave via the fire escape stairs!
When she reached the ground floor, she looked around. Situ Haonan and the man in black were nowhere to be seen. Athena quickly called the logistics department, “Master, please help me check where Master Situ is. The Chairman has an urgent matter to attend to!!”
