Chapter 173: The Demanding Customer
Athena watched Bruce leave in a hurry, not even finishing his meal, and thought that perhaps something important had happened. So she quickly tidied up her things and left.
Just as she reached the elevator doorway, Manager Hong called repeatedly. She quickly answered, “Hello, this is Athena!”
On the other end, someone frantically said, “Chief Assistant, only you can save us now! A difficult customer has arrived and insists on a red carpet. Please come quickly to our aid!!”
Athena immediately hung up and ran towards the lobby!!
Hotel Lobby:
A stretched Rolls-Royce slowly pulled up to the hotel lobby entrance. The doorman respectfully opened the car door and, bowing, said, “Welcome to the Holy Courtyard Hotel, guest! Please~”
Inside sat a woman with bright red lipstick, permed wavy hair, and beautifully manicured nails. At first glance, she looked like an incredibly beautiful princess who had stepped out of a castle. She was wearing a pure white lace dress, making her appear noble and captivating.

“I’m not getting out unless you prepare a red carpet for me. Otherwise, don’t expect me to step inside!!” This beautiful woman, however, had such an unreasonable demand, which truly frightened the doorman.
The doorman cautiously said, “Esteemed Miss, red carpets are only for international VIPs, such as our President’s Madam~~~”
The woman in the car impatiently looked at the doorman and said, “I don’t care about international or not. I want a red carpet laid out. Now, leave, immediately, and get your manager!!”
The doorman’s face immediately showed difficulty. This demand was truly too much!!

The woman inside angrily said, “Do you think I’m an old lady of seventy or eighty? I have hands and feet, do I need you to escort me?!”

She continued to smile diligently, “Guest, only international VIPs are eligible for a red carpet here. It’s not that we are unwilling, but if we were to lay out a carpet for you, and the President’s Madam were to blame us, saying you offended her, I wouldn’t know how to cover it up. After all, the President’s Madam often vacations at our hotel!!”
The person inside, upon hearing this, still said dismissively, “Even if the President stood in front of me, I would still want a red carpet. If you don’t do as I say, I will sue you and complain about you!!”
Truly a difficult customer!!
Athena continued to smile with all her might, “Guest, this~~~~”
Before she could finish, the woman inside took out a bottle of mineral water and splashed it directly onto Athena’s smiling face. Athena froze, and everyone else froze.
The doorman quickly stepped forward, looking uneasy, and said, “Chief Assistant, are you alright!!”
The woman inside remained seated with a blank expression, while everyone else looked at her with disdain.
