Chapter 202: Aloof Xia Yang and Hu Xiaoxiao
While Ji Xiangyu and Hu Xiaoxiao were still in the elevator, Assistant Che was ready to welcome them. The elevator went straight to the fifteenth floor, and as soon as the doors opened.
More than twenty people, standing in two rows, respectfully bowed as soon as they saw Hu Xiaoxiao and Ji Xiangyu emerge: “Greetings, Chairman, greetings, Senior!”

Hu Xiaoxiao smiled elegantly, “No need to be so nervous. I’m just here to attend the celebration!”
The 50th Anniversary Celebration is next month, and every department is busy preparing. What is Hu Xiaoxiao’s purpose for coming in advance?
Ji Xiangyu led Hu Xiaoxiao into the office. As soon as they sat down, the office intercom rang: “Chairman, the General Manager is here!”
Ji Xiangyu frowned. What did Andrei want?
“Let him in!”
Ji Xiangyu gestured for Hu Xiaoxiao to sit down, and Andrei opened the door and walked in.
Hu Xiaoxiao opened her arms and said affectionately, “Oh, Andrei, long time no see!”
Andrei walked over, hugged Hu Xiaoxiao, and said with a joyful expression, “Tajia, long time no see!”
Ji Xiangyu watched, confused and unable to understand. Why were these two so familiar with each other?

Andrei glanced meaningfully at Ji Xiangyu, then said calmly, “Athena hasn’t come to work yet. She’ll probably be here soon!”
Hu Xiaoxiao looked at her exquisite wristwatch. “It’s already working hours. This girl, have you been indulging her again?”
Andrei chuckled softly, but his smile carried a hint of bitterness. “Athena was taking care of the Chairman at the hospital yesterday. She went back to change this morning before coming over!”
Hu Xiaoxiao and Andrei exchanged glances and nodded meaningfully, as if they knew something but didn’t say it out loud!
“Aunt Hu, is there anywhere you’d like to go? I’ll have an assistant take you,” Ji Xiangyu changed the subject.
Hu Xiaoxiao put her arm around Andrei’s shoulder and said, “My return to the country this time is partly to attend the celebration, and partly because I want to see my Andrei and Athena!”
After glancing at Andrei, she added, “However, it seems my godson hasn’t been doing his duty as General Manager, letting rumors spread!”
Ji Xiangyu smiled calmly. “Actually, it’s not entirely rumors. Some people within the hotel are starting to make big moves against the hotel!”
Andrei quickly intervened and said, “Tajia, are you tired? You just returned to the country, would you like to rest?”
Hu Xiaoxiao found it strange and immediately retorted, “Chairman, what do you mean by that?” She looked at Andrei. “I’ll go rest later! It’s not urgent yet!”
Andrei sat there with a cold expression. He hadn’t honestly told Tajia his purpose for returning. What would Tajia do if she found out?
He couldn’t imagine!
Ji Xiangyu noticed Andrei’s unease and said with reservation, “There are just loopholes in internal management, which is why some people are taking the opportunity to do things that harm the hotel. We are doing our best to stop it!”
Hu Xiaoxiao suddenly stood up and said apologetically, “Chairman, I feel a bit tired and would like to go rest first!”
Ji Xiangyu didn’t try to keep her and nodded, pressing the intercom. “Send Aunt Hu to the VIP Presidential Suite!”
Andrei said with a serious expression, “No need to trouble the Chairman. I’ll take Tajia myself. I need to patrol the VIP guest room area anyway!”
Ji Xiangyu relented and watched their retreating figures. Just then, his subordinate arrived by elevator. Andrei and his subordinate exchanged glances as they passed each other!
Entering the elevator, Andrei wondered with doubt where he had seen this person before.
But he couldn’t recall in the end!
Hu Xiaoxiao’s aloof expression returned. She looked at Andrei and asked, “Andrei, are you hiding something from me?”
Andrei replied with the same aloofness, “Tajia, you’re overthinking it. I’m not hiding anything from you!”
Hu Xiaoxiao let out a cold, mocking laugh. “Why did you stop Xiao Yu from answering my question just now?!”
Andrei continued to feign aloofness. “I just thought you must be tired from the flight, and it’s best to rest first!”
Hu Xiaoxiao looked at the ascending elevator and laughed. “Andrei, you’re the worst liar. When you lie, you put on this ‘who dares to mess with me’ expression! Come on, confess!”
Andrei relented and pleaded, “Tajia, I beg you, please rest first. We can talk slowly over dinner tonight, the four of us!”
Hu Xiaoxiao gave an ‘ok’ gesture, then threw her luggage at Andrei and said, “I’m really looking forward to hearing it!”
