Athena trembled all over. Who were they? What was the purpose of kidnapping her? How much time had passed, and why hadn’t anyone discovered she was being held captive?!
Her eyelids felt so heavy, her whole body so weak! In no time, she fainted!
Instantly, she felt as if she were in a fantasy space!
Suddenly, the sound of waves echoed around her. In the darkness, two people were strolling on the beach. The man wore a mask, and the woman was dressed in clothes from her youth!
Her black hair cascaded like a waterfall. She was petite, following the man along the beach!
Athena chased after them, wanting to get a clear look at the man. As she approached, the woman who looked exactly like her beside him instantly turned into air and vanished without a trace!
The man turned his head to look at her, gazing at her affectionately. Then, his mask fell off, revealing Ji Xiangyu’s face. He smiled at her and said, “Qing Tian, you’re back. I’ve waited for you for a long time. You’re finally back. Let’s get married!”
Then, the scene immediately switched to a wedding venue!
The wedding was held in a European vineyard. A red carpet was laid out in front of a European-style castle, and a white veil fluttered in the wind!
Many people were seated around her, all smiling brightly and saying, “Qing Tian, congratulations to you both!”
One child happily pulled her hand and said, “Sister Qing, congratulations!”
She wore a wedding dress adorned with diamonds and walked into the wedding venue, arm in arm with a middle-aged man. Ji Xiangyu stood in the center of the venue, smiling and extending his hand to her, “Qing Tian, marry me!”
As she reached out her hand to grasp his, she was suddenly pulled back by the man behind her. Instantly, the scene switched to a car accident!
A man held a gun to her forehead. The man’s expression was pained, but he still pulled the trigger. With a bang, the whole world plunged back into darkness!
A voice spoke, “Qing Tian, wake up, wake up.”
Athena felt a chill in her head. The dream shattered!
She struggled to open her eyes, looking around. Her head was spinning, and she couldn’t see clearly. It was all darkness!
Ugh, she was back to reality. That dream was too terrifying, too real!
Before she could even ponder, her hair was roughly pulled. Pain, so much pain it numbed her. This feeling was awful!
A familiar female voice sounded in her ear, “Be good and listen. Say to the camera, ‘Help me.’ If you dare to say one more word, I’ll make you feel it!”
Athena’s eyes were covered, and her mouth was gagged. Was this woman insane? How was she supposed to speak like this!
She could hear the sounds of other people moving around in the warehouse, likely preparing for filming. A powerful aura approached her, a familiar scent. It was the woman who had given her water earlier; she was one of the more conscientious ones among them!
She removed the gag from Athena’s mouth and then said to the woman who had spoken earlier, “Stop dawdling and let’s start!”
Although Athena’s mouth was freed, her throat hurt so much she couldn’t utter a word. It felt like a fishbone was stuck in her throat, causing excruciating pain!
The woman first slapped her, then grabbed her head and pushed it towards the camera, saying, “Start filming. We’re running out of time. It’s already noon!”
Athena’s heart jolted. It was only noon, yet she felt as if a century had passed!
The woman again yelled at her, “Be good, you can speak now!!”
Athena felt her hair being pulled so painfully that she could barely breathe. Her voice was hoarse. She tried to speak, but no sound came out!
