Chapter 313: Suffering Losses Is A Blessing
Worldly people all say that suffering losses is a blessing, foolishly enduring them endlessly and then using this phrase to comfort themselves.
True fortune, oh, is when after suffering so many losses, you reflect and gain clear understanding of the principles and patterns in the quiet depths of night, along with the determination to change oneself!
It’s not being muddle-headed, constantly enduring loss after loss, suffering unbearably.
When you achieve clear understanding and make changes, you will no longer be trapped by the same matters in your heart. This is truly called fortune!
The principle is very simple. If you are doing things correctly, how can you not make progress? Even if suffering losses is a blessing, if you don’t make any progress at all and are still standing still, this completely violates the laws of the Heavenly Dao.
The Dao is natural, meaning people grow upward like other species in nature. Good heavens, standing still or even regressing, and then comforting yourself with the phrase “go with the flow”? How are you going with the flow? Isn’t this acting against the laws of nature?
Most people are very confused, even very foolish, and don’t even realize they are living their lives in reverse.
Then, wouldn’t there be endless pitfalls for you to fall into? And these pitfalls, damn it, are ones you brought upon yourself by being so foolish.
When you achieve clear understanding, then when anything happens, your perspective on matters will no longer be about suffering losses or fortune, but rather about how you gain more progress in each matter.
Growing vibrantly!
Some people say, Big Brother, how did you become so awesome?
Regarding this, firstly, no matter how much I suffered losses and acted foolishly, I was not actually stupid; on the contrary, I was very intelligent.
Secondly, after continuously suffering all sorts of losses for many years, the moment I awoke, my past conclusions about these matters became much clearer, and I absorbed a great deal of nourishment from them.
Thirdly, my way of being human in the past was also different from ordinary people. I was a fool in the eyes of normal people, and I knew I was a fool, but at that time, I couldn’t make a different choice. Because I felt I should act that way.
So, later, when I achieved enlightenment, my actions aligned with many cultivation concepts, even becoming synchronized. Simply put, it means I acted too well.
Of course, there were also many karmic connections and various seemingly coincidental, yet interconnected, events.
I shattered them all and integrated them for contemplation. And when I say shattering and integrating, it’s not what people imagine, like taking things apart or putting several things together.
It’s logically arranging the patterns and principles within them, then scattering them again, and looking at them in a rearranged way. Integrating these things. This was all done passively and unintentionally.
This thing called Dao, can only be comprehended, not sought. What is sought is principle, but whether you can comprehend the Dao within it depends entirely on yourself. If your comprehension is not enough, even if given to you, you cannot take it, and if you take it, you cannot use it. Only when you comprehend it, take it, and can use it, is it truly yours.
Regardless of what words are used, the key point lies in your own understanding and clear realization.
Whether you have a Master or not, on the path of cultivating the heart, there is indeed a world of difference. This is because the path you will take has already been walked by the Master, who can teach you methods, watch over you to prevent you from going astray, and occasionally provide guidance and protect you as you cultivate upward.
For those without anyone to protect them, suffering losses and enduring hardship is considered light. The torment of body and mind leaves them living in constant fear.
Be fortunate, be fortunate to have encountered the invincible and incredibly awesome Grand Master of heart cultivation, a blessing bestowed by three lifetimes.
Otherwise, on this path of the heart, some people may struggle to find their way out even in a lifetime.
Many people understand a great deal of principles, but they cannot overcome their own thoughts. The four words “I am right” have hindered the progress of how many people?
For example, to be a very good person. How simple this sounds, yet how many can truly achieve it?
Even when doing good deeds, there’s no thought of doing good deeds; it’s just acting according to one’s original heart.
Do you really think being a very, very good person is that simple? These kinds of people, in the eyes of mortals, are no different from fools.
This kind of fool is not a fool who thinks they are a fool. They simply know they are foolish and feel they should act that way, that’s all. It has nothing to do with any particular viewpoint.
In the world, there are two types of people with great fortune. The first type is the one heaven directly provides for.
The second type is one who, after achieving clear mind and seeing one’s true nature, does not cling to that achievement. They use their seen nature to guide their clear mind, and their clear mind influences their seen nature, uniting them as the first level of fortune. Then, by stepping out of that, they reach the next level.
The reason for describing it this way is not to discriminate, but to allow those who don’t understand to learn more about the differences.
The first type of person does not lack friends. Everyone feels secure in their presence because they don’t play games with people; they are just being themselves.
The second type of person also does not lack friends. They don’t even need to say much; a few simple words will attract many strangers who actively want to get to know them and like them.
This is the best manifestation of the light that shines from this kind of person.
This light, this magnetic field, is a person’s fortune. The greater the fortune, the stronger the light, and the more people they influence.
People affected by this light will unconsciously improve their spirit, inexplicably and continuously grow their Yang Energy, gain a sense of self-confidence and freedom, and their inner heart will gradually become open-minded, calm, comfortable, and pleasantly relaxed.
When energy is transformed to this aspect, facing all problems will not be like before.
They will instinctively think of ways to solve problems immediately, rather than dwelling on the process of a certain matter. Because they know that as long as the matter is resolved, the problem will naturally cease to exist.
Fortune manifests this way. Amidst the various disturbances in the human world, they navigate with ease through their own wisdom, as if playing a game and clearing levels.
During this process, their temperament undergoes earth-shattering changes, becoming more confident, more convinced that they possess the ability to face any problem.
But! Often at this time, it’s also easy to fall into states of arrogance, haughtiness, and conceit.
If one can avoid being influenced by these traits and use them reasonably, it is not a bad thing. If one cannot.
Hmph, water can carry a boat, but it can also capsize it. What can elevate you can also become what causes you to stumble badly.
Remember these words: You can be proud, but don’t be presumptuous; don’t be arrogant. You can be arrogant, but only about yourself; don’t be arrogant towards others.
You can disregard others, but you can acknowledge Bodhisattvas, seeing the merits in others to gain energy, rather than only focusing on their shortcomings. What you look at for a long time is what will be absorbed into yourself.
Your heart can be high, your spirit can be proud, but direct it towards matters, not towards people!
Good things, if not used well, become bad. Bad things, if used well, not only are not bad, but will empower you further.
Therefore, good and evil, good and bad, do not need to be defined; it depends on whether you know how to use them! If used well, swear words become powerful divine incantations. If used poorly, praise will turn into malicious sarcasm!
