Chapter 301: Ask Fang Mengyun To See Him
“This is all a misunderstanding.” He Linwen held Fang Mengyun’s hand and explained, “Things are not what you think they are.”
“Oh really?” Fang Mengyun shook his hand away and smiled sarcastically, “If not, then what are they? Under what circumstances would you tell a girl ‘I like you, will you be my girlfriend?'”
“I really didn’t betray you.” He Linwen reached for her hand again.
Fang Mengyun took a few steps back, keeping her distance from him, “Just say what you need to say, and don’t touch me.”

Fang Mengyun rolled her eyes, “Can you stop treating me like a dog?”

“Linwen, if you don’t love me anymore, you can tell me honestly.” Fang Mengyun said sarcastically, “You don’t need to worry that I’ll pester you relentlessly.”
“How could I not love you?” He Linwen said excitedly, “Yunyun, I love you, I love you the most.”
Fang Mengyun, tired of arguing, turned and sat on the sofa, “Honestly, I don’t feel your love at all, neither when we first started dating three years ago, nor now.”
Her feelings for He Linwen… were actually more like those of close friends.
But if He Linwen hadn’t done anything wrong, she would most likely have chosen to marry him, as he was a marriage partner her parents approved of.

While cooking at her place, he had been constantly chatting with another girl on his phone.
He posted countless updates on his Moments that were invisible to her, maintaining a persona of a single, good homemaker.
“I don’t agree to break up.” He Linwen walked in front of her and knelt down, gazing at her with deep affection, “Yunyun, I love you, I want to marry you.”
“Stop talking.” Fang Mengyun crossed her arms and turned her face away, not wanting to look at him, “Let’s part amicably, don’t make it too ugly.”
A gloomy expression appeared on He Linwen’s face, and a hint of ferocity flashed in his eyes.
A few seconds later, he restrained his emotions and put on a pleading look again, “Yunyun, I love you, I really can’t bear to be without you.”
Fang Mengyun frowned, her fingernails digging into her palm, suppressing her irritated and impatient emotions, she said, “Can you stop pretending? If you loved me, would you flirt with so many girls?”
She had initially wanted to leave him with some dignity, but since he didn’t want it, so be it.
“You privately messaged so many girls in the same city, didn’t you just want to meet up, and get intimate?”
He Linwen’s face changed slightly, veins bulging at his temples, his fists clenched, “You checked my phone?”
Fang Mengyun sneered, “If I hadn’t checked your phone, how would I have discovered your true face?”
“You…” He Linwen gritted his back teeth tightly, was silent for a moment, and then suddenly changed from a squatting position to kneeling, “Yunyun, I know I was wrong, can you forgive me and give me another chance?”
“Can you not do this?” Fang Mengyun was surprised that he actually knelt down, and quickly moved to a different seat.

Fang Mengyun looked at him in shock, “Are you crazy?”
“Yunyun, if you don’t forgive me, I won’t stop.” He Linwen slapped his own face repeatedly.
Fang Mengyun watched this scene, feeling no trace of He Linwen’s love, and instead felt a growing sense of fear deep inside.

“Are you forcing me?” she asked.
He Linwen’s eyes, peering through his lenses, gazed at her dotingly, “Yunyun, I’m reluctant to part with you, and I don’t want to separate from you. Stay by my side, okay?”
“I…” Fang Mengyun pressed her lips together, hesitated for a few seconds before saying, “Can you give me some time to think it over clearly? I’m very confused right now.”
“Okay!” He Linwen, seeing that she wasn’t insisting on breaking up anymore, immediately agreed joyfully, “Yunyun, think it over carefully. You won’t find anyone better than me if you leave me.”
