Chapter 139: The Goddess Of Wisdom’s Devotion
Pleione only came to her senses at this moment, throwing herself down before the hall once again, unable to hold back her tears—this time, they were tears of joy.
Tears and smiles intertwined on her delicate face: “His Greatness the God King, Your kindness, Pleione will forever engrave in her heart. I and the children will forever be loyal to You! Your will is our will!”
Her children also hurriedly knelt down in a group, loudly thanking Zeus for His bounty.
Zeus said indifferently, “All rise.”
“The past is already past. Next, the future is even more important. Under the new sacred order, do not fail the bounty I have granted you, and do not let the Ocean God worry about you anymore.”
“Remember, under the sacred order, merit is rewarded, and wrongdoing is likewise punished. I can grant dew and kindness, and likewise grant thunder and majesty.”
Oceanus was truly deeply moved. He said moved, “Respected Zeus, Great God King, Your teachings, Your kindness, I will forever engrave!”
The many Ocean Gods also hurriedly echoed in agreement, with respect and piety from the heart.
Zeus pondered for a moment, then instructed the God of the North Wind, “Boreas, go bring Prometheus.”
The Ocean Gods’ hearts tightened, not knowing why Prometheus was being called now.
In order to show absolute loyalty and humility, Oceanus had not even asked Metis to plead, let alone greeted Prometheus at all.
When Prometheus received Boreas’s summons, his heart was extremely nervous.
Although during this time the universe was thriving and he was a contributor to the new order, he really could not be happy.
Father God had been cast into Tartarus to endure endless torment, never seeing the light of day; his two brothers had been cast into darkness and were still awaiting judgment in the netherworld.
And when His Majesty the God King granted honor to the gods, there was surprisingly no honor for him, remaining ignored until now, and he did not know what the God King truly meant.
All these events made him more and more irritated the more he thought about them, his heart filled with worry. Although he felt the God King would not be the type to take out anger on him, as this clever god, he was still inwardly uneasy.
He could never inquire into what ideas His Majesty the God King truly had in his heart.
Hmm. Except that he could tell His Majesty the God King was lustful.
He tried to ask Boreas what the God King wanted with him, but the coldest-tempered God of the North Wind, Boreas, was too lazy to speak. Prometheus’s good divine affinity was completely useless on him.
He had no choice but to give up, heading to Zeus’s divine palace with a restless mood along the way.
Upon arriving at the divine palace, seeing Oceanus with the Mother Goddess and his entire family, he already understood about seventy to eighty percent.
Seeing that the atmosphere was not particularly cold and stern, his heart was somewhat relieved.
“It should not be anything bad. His Majesty the God King is not that kind of tyrannical God King.” He thought this.
Prometheus respectfully stepped forward and bowed deeply: “Prometheus has seen the most great and respected His Majesty the God King. Please, Your Majesty, be at peace.”
Zeus looked at this God of Foresight who was of great use to him and smiled, “My dear friend Prometheus, please rise.”
Prometheus thanked him and stood respectfully.
Zeus slowly said, “Prometheus, at the Grand Ceremony of the Gods, I did not grant you reward and honor for your merit. Do you have doubts in your heart?”
Prometheus’s heart trembled, and he replied very firmly, “Respected His Majesty the God King! Everything is Your will! Wise You see through everything and the future. Everything must have Your magnificent arrangement. I have no doubts!”
Looking at such an obedient Prometheus, Zeus just smiled faintly and slowly said, “My dear friend, I have never forgotten what you did for me, never forgotten the merit you established, and even more never forgotten that you abandoned the dark for the light, resolutely giving up the wrong path to come pledge allegiance to me, greatly inspiring the hearts of the Olympus Gods.”
“Merit must be rewarded; the sacred order I established has always been this way.”
“You are the God of Foresight, your wisdom renowned among the gods. From this day forward, you will be my advisor by my side, using your brilliant wisdom to scheme and provide strategies for me.”
Prometheus was both shocked and delighted in his heart, hurriedly dropping to one knee and thanking, “His Greatness the God King, Prometheus thanks Your generosity and trust. Prometheus swears to You here that he will loyally serve You with all his strength. Your will is my will!”
Zeus smiled slowly and said, “My friend, please rise. I believe in you, and do not let me down.”
Upon hearing this, Prometheus was about to continue expressing loyalty, but Zeus continued, “I will also grant you the wish you most want to achieve.”
“Your two brothers were originally unforgivable in their crimes, but I am willing to give them an opportunity.”
“They two are stupid and reckless, arrogant and proud, but their loyalty is worth affirming.”
Zeus looked at Clymene, then at Prometheus, and said indifferently, “Prometheus, you brothers have a good Mother Goddess. Do not fail your Mother Goddess’s concern for you anymore.”
“From now on, Atlas and Menoetius will be temporarily imprisoned in the Ocean, guarded by the Ocean God, not permitted to take a single step out of the Ocean.”
At these words from Zeus, Clymene and Pleione were already in ecstasy, once again dropping to their knees before Zeus. Their delicate bodies trembled with excitement as they sobbed, “His Greatness the God King, thank You for Your tolerance, thank You for Your benevolence, thank You for Your compassion.”
“For our gratitude to You, we do not know how to repay it. His Greatness, please rest assured, we will forever pledge allegiance to You, no matter what, forever obeying Your will.”
The Ocean God abruptly stood up, his heroic face full of gratitude and respect. He bowed deeply to Zeus and said with immense gratitude, “Great God King, thank You for Your magnanimity. I will certainly watch them well, educate them well, make them feel Your radiance and majesty, and firmly obey Your sacred order! Praise the Great God King Zeus!”
Prometheus was also greatly shocked in his heart, his mind racing, but for the moment he could not figure out why. He could only kneel first to thank, respectfully calling loudly, “Great God King, thank You for Your bounty, Your kindness. Prometheus will engrave it for life and never dare forget!”
Zeus said indifferently, “Oceanus, Clymene, Pleione, and Prometheus, watch them well. This tolerance for them is only this once.”
“Prometheus, the only virtue on your two brothers is worth you learning. Do not disappoint me.”
Prometheus secretly raised his head to glance at Zeus, just meeting His profound golden eyes. The gaze that pierced everything made his heart jolt, and he hurriedly lowered his head again, calling loudly, “Your Majesty’s teachings, Prometheus will certainly keep in mind and be loyal to the great You!”
Prometheus still could not understand what Zeus’s actions were truly for, but he knew it certainly was not that simple.
Oceanus and Clymene and the others also repeatedly thanked and agreed. Zeus was no longer so serious and laughed heartily, “Alright, no more talk of these unhappy things. We are family.”
“Ocean God, please do not hurry to leave. To celebrate the children’s arrival, let us hold a feast. Olympus forever welcomes your arrival. Dear Ocean God, if not for your great duty to expand the universe, how I wish you could stay in Olympus forever.”
The atmosphere inside the hall immediately relaxed. Oceanus’s heroic and handsome face was full of smiles as he laughed heartily, “His Majesty the God King, whenever there is time, I will certainly come to pay respects to You often. The divine wine and ambrosia of Olympus always linger in my memory.”
Both sides were harmonious and joyful. Zeus immediately announced a Olympus feast. At the banquet, He once again displayed His chest as vast as the sky and His mercy.
Oceanus was also utterly devoted for the children’s sake, personally taking the children to mingle in the banquet, introducing these young children to the gods, afraid they would not be accepted.
The wise Metis only now understood everything Zeus had done.
Oceanus knew very well the limits and had never disturbed her from beginning to end.
The Goddess of Wisdom, deeply trapped in the vortex of love, was deeply moved in her heart. Zeus’s deep affection for her and her family made her completely fall into Zeus’s embrace, unwilling to extricate herself.
After the feast’s atmosphere livened up, Zeus quietly left, and the Goddess of Wisdom, with all love and gazes concentrated on her, followed out at once.
She could not conceal the blazing love in her heart, wildly throwing herself into Zeus’s embrace like a burning flame, passionately offering fragrant kisses.
The Goddess of Wisdom’s naturally red cherry lips pecked nonstop on Zeus’s lips and cheeks. The two gods rubbed ears and temples, their affection as deep as the sea.
The Goddess of Wisdom expressed her love to her beloved with the most affectionate, moving, and sincere words: “Zeus, my love, my lord, Father God above, how fortunate I am to receive your love.”
“My love, am I truly not dreaming a lovesick dream? If it is a dream, then in this beautiful dream realm, I never wish to wake.”
“My love, my Zeus, how I wish to forever be in your embrace.”
“Zeus ah Zeus, my eternal beloved, forever, I will be by your side. My love, do you know, you are my everything—”
Zeus felt the Daughter of the Ocean’s most passionate and unrestrained love, completely unmasked. Even he now trembled in his heart from Metis’s most scorching love.
He tightly embraced Metis, blocking all the Goddess of Wisdom’s affectionate words. The divinities of the two gods pressed together, entwined together, lingered together.
Zeus held her, incarnating as lightning flying up to the Olympus clouds, the two nestling atop the pure white sea of clouds.
Zeus pressed the goddess beneath him, looking at the Goddess of Wisdom’s dazed affectionate eyes—those eyes could only hold his figure.
The Goddess of Wisdom’s devotion was enough to melt the hardest divine heart.
