Chapter 38: Amusement Park Thrills
Ye Qianyu quietly closed his door, and the warm scene in the living room had not yet ended.
Yin Lingyan slowly tied the gauze for him, and finally tied a bow. Han Wuyu looked at the somewhat uneven bow, and his hand involuntarily touched the gauze that resembled a bow, as if he could feel her lingering warmth.
“Then I’ll go take a bath.”
Seeing that she didn’t stop him, Han Wuyu slowly stood up and walked towards the bathroom. Yin Lingyan seemed to wake up with a start and instructed, “Don’t let the gauze get wet.”
The sound of rushing water came from inside, but it didn’t last long. Yin Lingyan then heard a ‘thump,’ as if he had fallen.
She wanted to go in, but he was definitely not wearing any clothes. Yin Lingyan glanced at Ye Qianyu’s bedroom and climbed upstairs.
“Knock, knock…”
Ye Qianyu was playing the most popular game of the era, League of Legends. Hearing the knock, he said without thinking, “Come in.”
As soon as Yin Lingyan entered, she grabbed his hand and said anxiously, “Han Wuyu seems to have fallen in the bathroom, hurry and check on him.”
Ye Qianyu was stunned, his hand movements paused, and the screen of the computer turned gray. Ye Qianyu grumbled in annoyance, “You go check on him, I’m playing a game?”
After speaking, he no longer looked at Yin Lingyan’s pitiful face and continued playing his game. Yin Lingyan was taken aback, and seeing that he refused to help because of the game, she glared at him fiercely before going downstairs.
After she left, Ye Qianyu’s face revealed a smug smile. He took out his mobile phone and sent a message to Yin Chubei, “Wuyu just fell in the bathroom, and that girl came to find me.”
Yin Chubei replied immediately upon seeing the message, “You didn’t go, did you?”
Ye Qianyu sent an annoyed emoji, “I don’t have that much free time. Would I ruin such a good opportunity to cultivate affection?”
Yin Chubei sent a smiling emoji, “You’ve finally grown up.”
Ye Qianyu sent a cursing emoji, “…………”
Then he glanced downstairs and closed his door. A smile hung on the corner of his lips. He seemed to mutter to himself, “Buddy, it’s up to you now. Don’t forget me after you succeed.”
When Yin Lingyan opened the bathroom door, Han Wuyu was trying to get up with his left foot, while his other foot was lifted and not touching the ground. He was wrapped in a bath towel, looking like a golden rooster standing on one leg. There were some shower gel bubbles on the bathroom floor, making it slippery. Seeing Han Wuyu about to fall again, Yin Lingyan quickly walked over.
She hugged his strong waist directly from behind. Han Wuyu’s body trembled. He looked at her fair hands, which were softly placed on his waist, preventing him from falling further.
Yin Lingyan clearly felt the muscles in his waist, and her face had been red since she entered this room.
“Are you okay?” Yin Lingyan released his waist and slowly helped him out of the bathroom.
Han Wuyu stared at her hair and did not answer her question. He pursed his sexy lips and said, “Am I pathetic?”
This was a complete non-sequitur. Yin Lingyan was stunned and heard his somewhat annoyed words. She shook her head vigorously.
Han Wuyu, receiving her silent but action-based response, curved his lips into a handsome smile.
She led him all the way to the guest room. Since there was only one guest room, Yin Lingyan prepared to leave after helping him onto the bed. But as she turned, her hand was pulled.
“Where are you going?” Han Wuyu looked at the sky. She wasn’t planning to go back, was she?
Yin Lingyan smiled. It was so late, she didn’t have the courage to go back. “I’ll sleep on the sofa.”
“How about we make a deal?” Han Wuyu was relieved by her answer but still felt uneasy.
