Chapter 259: Can You Take Me Home
The eyes are one of the most vulnerable parts of the body, and even a slight stimulus can cause intense discomfort.
The fake pregnant woman and the shirt woman covered their eyes and wailed in pain.
“Am I going blind?”
“My eyes hurt so much…”
Little Orange and Little Mi were very satisfied with their masterpiece.
The German Shepherd’s thoughts at this time were the same as the two birds; it had bitten the glasses boy so hard that he was calling it “Dad,” hehe.
“I’m done biting here, who should I bite next?” it asked expectantly.
“Bite whoever you want,” Little Orange said, flying towards the old woman who was banging on the door.
Little Mi also flew over and pecked at the old woman randomly.
“Then I won’t be polite!” The German Shepherd looked around and finally ran towards the fake pregnant woman and the shirt woman.
The living room was in chaos, with screams erupting one after another. When the responding officers from the precinct arrived, they looked utterly bewildered at the scene.
Si Heng and his group also arrived at the scene soon after. He strode towards the tightly shut room door, his deep voice revealing concern, “Jiang Yuan, are you in there?”
“Yes,” Jiang Yuan replied from the room, “Wait for me a moment.”
She leaned down, picked up the white skirt that had been thrown on the floor, and put it on the unconscious girl.
The girl’s face and body were covered in various strange drawings.
Jiang Yuan took out her phone, took pictures of the drawings, fastened all the buttons of the white skirt, and then turned to open the room door.
Si Heng quickly scanned the room and saw the white-clad man lying on the floor with a bruised and swollen face. His gaze returned to Jiang Yuan’s face, with a hint of concern in his eyes, “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine,” Jiang Yuan said softly.
Si Heng saw the clear finger marks on her neck, his gaze sharpened, and his dark eyebrows furrowed tightly, “He did this?”
Jiang Yuan blinked, realizing what he was referring to, and raised her hand to touch her slightly sore neck, “He suddenly lunged over and tried to choke me.”
“That was too dangerous,” a flash of heartache quickly crossed the man’s eyes.
“Yuan Yuan!” Little Mo Yan looked at her neck and said worriedly, “You’re hurt!”
“What!” Little Orange cried out in panic, flying from the living room to Jiang Yuan’s face, “Yuan Yuan is hurt? Is it serious?”
Little Mi also came over and gently nudged her neck with its feathers, “Does it hurt?”
“It doesn’t hurt, it’s not a big problem,” Jiang Yuan smiled at them.
Little Mo Yan was very angry and flew towards the white-clad man on the floor, pecking fiercely at his face, “You scumbag, how dare you bully such a good Yuan Yuan! Yan wants revenge for Yuan Yuan!”
Little Orange and Little Mi also followed to get revenge on the white-clad man.
The German Shepherd heard the commotion, squeezed into the room, and barked excitedly, “How can revenge be without me! Your mouths are too small, I’ll bite!”
After saying that, its expression turned ferocious, and it suddenly opened its mouth, its sharp teeth biting down hard on the white-clad man’s fingers.
The next second, a heart-rending scream echoed throughout the house.
The white-clad man woke up in pain, shaking his hand tremblingly, but the German Shepherd held on tightly.
Si Heng watched the scene with a dark gaze when a voice suddenly came from beside him.
“Will his fingers break if it keeps biting…” mumbled a police officer from the precinct.
After more than ten seconds, Si Heng finally spoke to Jiang Yuan, “Tell it to stop.”
“Okay,” Jiang Yuan walked forward, squatted beside the German Shepherd, and raised her hand to stroke its head, “Hey friend, thank you for your help, you can stop now.”
“Hehe,” the German Shepherd immediately let go of the white-clad man’s hand and grinned at her, “You must be Yuan Yuan that Little Mo Yan mentioned!”
Jiang Yuan glanced at the white-clad man’s almost-severed fingers, then disdainfully looked away and smiled at the German Shepherd, “Yes, I’m Yuan Yuan, what’s your name?”
“I don’t have a name,” the German Shepherd’s deep, dark brown eyes looked at her expectantly, and it proactively said, “Can you give me a name and take me home?”
Jiang Yuan was stunned for a few seconds and asked doubtfully, “You don’t have a master?”
“I did at first,” the German Shepherd explained, “but he never gave me a name, always called me a little beast, and hit me, so I ran away from home and am now a stray dog.”
The German Shepherd’s explanation was simple, but Jiang Yuan could feel that it had a difficult past.
Without further hesitation, she felt heartache as she stroked its fluffy back and said softly, “Okay, I’ll take you home.”
“That’s great!” The German Shepherd excitedly stuck out its tongue.
Jiang Yuan stood up and pointed above the bed to Si Heng, “There’s a camera up there. I don’t know what he was doing, but he drew many strange patterns on the girl with watercolors.”
“Okay,” Si Heng nodded slightly and turned to arrange the work.
Jiang Yuan brought the German Shepherd and the three little birds to the living room and slightly raised an eyebrow at the miserable state of those people.
“Yuan Yuan, we made the bad guys cry by biting them, aren’t we amazing?” the German Shepherd asked expectantly.
Jiang Yuan nodded, “Very amazing, but you can only bite bad guys, not good people.”
“Got it!” The German Shepherd nodded obediently, “This is the first time I’ve bitten someone!”
Jiang Yuan suddenly thought of something and walked towards the door opposite. The old man sitting in the wheelchair had already wet himself out of fear, and a puddle of water was flowing from under the wheelchair.
Seeing the German Shepherd next to her, the old man cried out in terror, “Don’t bite me… don’t…”
“If you don’t want to be bitten, then honestly confess,” Jiang Yuan commanded coldly.
The old man waved his hands in panic, “I don’t know, I don’t know anything…”
“You’re lying,” Jiang Yuan frowned.
“Woof woof woof—” The German Shepherd barked at him and took a few steps closer.
The old man closed his eyes in fear, trembling all over, “I, I really don’t know, it was all my spouse’s arrangement…”
The people in the house were taken away by ambulances one after another. After their injuries were treated and they were vaccinated against rabies, they were brought back to the police station for interrogation.
The old woman’s eyes were wrapped in layers of gauze, revealing only her wrinkled forehead and face. Her two hands were secured to the interrogation table with silver handcuffs but trembled uncontrollably.
“What’s your name?” He Lewei asked sternly.
The old woman replied tremblingly, “Li, Li Cui, Ying.”
He Lewei: “Why did you have human traffickers send young girls to your home?”
“No,” Li Cuiying shook her head in terror, “No, I don’t know any human traffickers.”
Si Heng’s face darkened, his voice carrying a hint of anger, “Those criminals have already confessed, and you still want to quibble?”
“I, I…” Li Cuiying trembled with fear.
He Lewei frowned and advised, “Old woman, if you keep denying it, it will only increase your punishment. You should confess clearly and honestly.”
Li Cuiying hesitated for a long time before tremblingly saying, “It’s all my fault, it’s all my badness, I was afraid my son would be too lonely, so I wanted to find a woman to accompany him…”
